Match Recap

Pearl started with MLT winning the pistol round as well as the anti-eco round. They lost the bonus round but won the next round, making the score 3-1. MLT seemed in the good spot until Round 5 where they lost a thrifty round, thanks to Deathmaker’s triple kill. Knightrider got a triple kill in Round 7 to bring the score to 4-3. But VLT managed to finish the half in their favor as they only dropped one more round and won 4 rounds in a row, bringing the score to 7-5.

VLT won the second pistol round and proceeded to win 6 rounds in a row to finish the map without dropping a single round in their defending side at 13-5. Hellf was the MVP as he had an ACS of 323 on Astra. Split was a particularly close map as none of the teams were dominating, giving, and taking 2-3 rounds here and there. VLT won the pistol round which went utterly close, as Amaterasu got a triple kill on his Cypher setup and Venka2cold almost clutched a 1v3, but spike got defused at mere 0.5 seconds remaining. Even the anti-eco round went close as MLT dropped 4 weapons of VLT by classics and sheriffs. MLT won their first buy round and the round after, bringing the score to 2-2. VLT won 3 rounds in a row and retaliated by MLT by winning three rounds in a row too, bringing the score to 5-5. VLT finished the half at 7-5.

VLT won the pistol round again, owing to Deathmaker’s triple kill. They won the anti-eco as well, but lost the bonus, bringing the score to 9-6. MLT won three rounds in a row but after a couple of rounds here and there, VLT managed to finish the map at 13-10.
