Valorant Agent 30 is set to be revealed on October 17, according to a leaked event schedule. That’s one day before the Valorant Champions 2026 grand final in Shanghai. Riot has not confirmed the date. It has confirmed that a new agent is coming. Over the past month the studio has shown her in a developer video and on its Chinese social media, and it’s now promoting a café event built around her.
Here is what is official, what is leaked, and what is still unknown.
Valorant Agent 30: What We Know So Far

Riot’s official Valorant agents page currently lists 29 agents, ending with Miks. Miks is the music-themed Controller who arrived in March. That makes the new character the 30th agent and the second new agent of 2026.

How Riot Has Teased the New Valorant Agent
Riot has released the teasers slowly over about a month.
| Date | Teaser |
|---|---|
| September 14 | She appears at the end of a DEV Updates video, standing over Valorant head Anna Donlon as if taking control of her |
| Late September | A silhouette appears in the Champions 2026 trailer with no clear details |
| Early October | A first real visual appears in Riot’s advert for a pop-up café in Shanghai |
| October 10 | Riot’s Weibo account posts a clearer image of her against a purple neon city at night |
The latest image shows her from behind as a silhouette. You can see long white hair, glowing purple eyes and dark clothing with purple accents. The purple theme and long hair look a lot like Reyna, and players have noticed. A second leaked teaser spread on X the same weekend and shows the same white hair.
The DEV Updates scene might hint at her kit. Standing over someone as though controlling them points to mind control or possession, which would suit a Duelist. Riot hasn’t shown any ability, so this is fan speculation for now.
Is the New Agent a Duelist?
Probably, but it’s still a leak. Dataminer valohabercisi said in late September that he could confirm the agent is a Duelist. He shared no other details. Another dataminer, kohteihep, posted an icon for one of her abilities without saying what it does.
The roster supports the theory. Valorant currently has:
| Role | Agents |
|---|---|
| Duelists | 8 |
| Controllers | 7 |
| Initiators | 7 |
| Sentinels | 7 |
Wait, Duelists are already the largest class, so why add another? The other three roles look full right now. The last three agents were a Duelist (Waylay), a Sentinel (Veto) and a Controller (Miks). Duelists are also the most played role in ranked, so a new one usually draws more interest. If the leak is right, she would be the ninth Duelist.
When Is the Valorant Agent 30 Reveal?
According to the schedule shared by VALORANT Leaks & News, the reveal is at 2:00 PM on October 17. That’s 11:30 AM IST if the time is Shanghai local time. The reveal would come during an exclusive showmatch alongside the Champions semifinals. EGW reported the leaked schedule on October 2. Riot has not confirmed it.
Riot is also running a New Agent Pop-Up Café at Waji Café in Shanghai from October 13 to 18. Its Weibo post promises visitors “an exclusive first look at classified intel on the new Agent.” So fans in Shanghai could learn something before the stage reveal.
The timing fits Riot’s usual approach. Revealing an agent at the world championship gets the biggest audience of the year. It also leaves a few weeks before the next competitive season starts in November.
Champions Shanghai Sets the Stage
Champions 2026 runs from September 24 to October 18. The top four teams and the grand final play at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, which seats 18,000. The prize pool is $2,250,000, and $1,000,000 goes to the winner.
The event is already producing stories. Paper Rex lost 2-1 to T1 in the lower bracket and went home early, which completed an unusual record for PRX. In the upper bracket, LOUD beat defending champions NRG in the semifinals. So the agent reveal will share the stage with the biggest matches of the season.
What We Still Don’t Know
- Her name. No official name or codename has leaked.
- Her abilities. One icon has leaked and nothing else.
- Her origin. Fans have guessed several countries from her design, but the only proof so far is her look.
- Release patch. She is expected before or at the start of the November season. No patch number has been reported.
