TSM-FTX have announced on Twitter the benching of Taylor “drone” Johnson from their active Valorant division.

Drone has been shown the door at TSM after the latter team failed to qualify for the Challengers 1 event in the VCT’s ongoing Stage 3 run with their current roster.

Originally from mouseSpaz, Drone and co were acquired by TSM in May 2020 making the former one among the original and founding members of the team. Under Taylor, TSM were able to bag two major A-tier events at the T1 X NSG followed by FaZe Clan Invitational, grabbing a total of $50,000 USD in winnings. Before setting up for their VCT course, TSM-FTX were the second-best team at Valorant’s First Strike in North America after they lost to 100 Thieves in the Grand Finals.
