Valkyrae’s health condition might affect her streaming schedule

The most popular female streamer in the world, Valkyrae has revealed a recently diagnosed jaw condition that might reflect on her streaming schedule here on out.

One of the biggest gaming content creators on YouTube, Rae had one hell of a 2020, from becoming the most viewed female streamer, overtaking Pokimane to becoming the co-owner of 100 Thieves in 2021. It’s safe to say that she was loving her time on YouTube but a freshly surfaced health condition might ruin the fun for her.

On her August 31 stream, Rae revealed that her upcoming streams can be shorter given her health condition won’t allow her to verbally communicate for long periods. According to her, she is suffering from temporomandibular joint dysfunction of the jaw which leads to joint pain in the jaw and significant difficulties in day-to-day tasks like chewing, talking, etc.

Her announcement was met by a downpour of supportive messages which will make a difficult time such a this a little more bearable. Communication is a big part of streaming and not interacting makes a stream less engaging, thus it is easy for fans to lose interest eventually.

For now, we hope, Rae remains unbothered by the drop in her streaming hours and can fully focus on recovering.
