Trainwreck hits back at “stealing” accusations

Tyler Niknam aka Trainwreck has been in getting some steam from the community over allegedly not paying for artworks which he said he would do if he actually used them.

Niknam has been under pressure from the community in general after he was getting caught up in several dramas, with the one surrounding the artworks being the latest of the lot. In a recent piece, he said “Don’t come at me about stealing from artists. I pay the artists I work with double what you and your parents make in a year,” which prompted an artist to call him out on social media.

An artist who goes by the handle @officialcwby on Twitter claimed that he was ghosted by Trainwreck after he submitted his work to him.

Niknam took to Twitter to defend himself, claiming that the artwork in question was a part of a competition and as he claimed beforehand, the one that collects the most number of votes would win and accordingly get compensated, “the best one will be voted on and paid well” he said before collecting artworks.

“First of all, I made a tweet saying I need new designs by Monday, and if I USE it I will pay you,” he said. “Second, my name is Trainwreck, not Trainwrecks. Third, I didn’t use your PG-inspired art.

This particular Tweet hasn’t come across any significant development after Trainwreck made it clear to everyone that he was well within his rights to deny the artist in question, any form of compensation.
