Rainbow Six Siege releases Anti-Cheat Update: All you need to know

Rainbow Six Siege

Ubisoft has released a major security update for the Rainbow Six Siege anti-cheat system. Apart from strengthening the anti-cheat, the developers also introduced data ban and text chat reputation penalty.

During the past few years, the number of cheaters in R6S were shooting up. Several players reported it to the developers. Even though the developers ban thousands of players around the end of a season, the ban waves weren’t enough to tackle the increasing number of cheaters.

Rainbow Six Siege introduced QB Initiative

To combat the huge number of cheaters, Ubisoft came up with the QB Initiative. According to the developers, this initiative was developed during the past few months to ban cheaters.

The PC Rainbow Six Siege community is fed up with cheaters and the developers have introduced this anti-cheat update, especially for PC players.

However, Ubisoft didn’t reveal more details of the update to protect its integrity. Still, the developers have promised that this update will definitely combat cheaters and will decrease the numbers significantly.

Here is a list of all the cheats addressed by the anti-cheat system in this update:

  • Pause in planning phase
  • Amaru No Clip
  • Aruni Melee exploit
  • Iana No Clip
  • Force Gadget
  • Infinite Ammo
  • Remote/Instant Kill

If you have got a cheater in a game, the best way to ban him is to report the player within the game. Now you can also report a cheater on social media with these following proofs:

  • Clear video or photo proof of the cheater’s incident
  • The offending player’s Username and User ID
  • Match ID for any relevant matches
  • Date and Time of the incident
