The PS Plus September 2026 games are leaving soon. PlayStation Plus Essential members have until October 5 to claim all four and keep them in their library. The next day, the October lineup replaces them.
PS Plus September 2026 games leaving
| Game | Genre | Last day to claim |
|---|---|---|
| Sniper Elite: Resistance | Tactical shooter | October 5 |
| MLB The Show 26 | Baseball sim | October 5 |
| Wobbly Life | Open-world co-op sandbox | October 5 |
| Chained Echoes | Turn-based RPG | October 5 |
How to claim PS Plus games before they leave
- Open the PlayStation Store on your PS5 or PS4, or go to the PlayStation Plus website.
- Go to the PlayStation Plus section and find the monthly games.
- Choose each game and select Add to Library.
You don’t need to download a game to keep it. Once it’s added to your library, you can install it whenever you want, as long as your PS Plus membership is active. If your membership lapses, you can’t play these games until you renew, but they stay on your account.
Why claiming matters
Monthly games you don’t claim before the deadline are gone for good, and you’d have to buy them later if you want them. A claim is free, costs nothing extra in storage and takes less than a minute. Official news sites like GamingBolt reported the October replacements as soon as Sony announced them.
What replaces them on October 6
F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 arrive on October 6 and stay until November 2.
Some PS Plus perks from last month, like the Valorant PS Plus September 2026 bundle, have separate deadlines, so check those too. If the Store won’t load on deadline day, check whether the PlayStation Network is down. With Sony adding warning labels to disc games, more players now keep their collections digital, so claiming your monthly games matters even more.
