NZXT reveals RTX 3080 powered Sneakers

Finding Nivida’s latest released RTX 3080 right now is harder than finding a needle in a haystack. But fret not, as the hardware manufacturer NZXT is here with a solution for those going around looking for RTX GPUs. NZXT and virtual sneaker designers Artifact Studios have collaborated to reveal the world’s first concept gaming PC that’s built inside a Sneaker and features Nvidia’s RTX 3080 GPU.

Artifact Studios first revealed the conceptual sneaker PC on Twitter by sharing a 14-sec long promo video and later officially making an announcement tweet.

Upon closer inspection, it looks like it isn’t a wearable gaming PC (duh?), so those looking to warm their toes with the heat of the monstrous RTX 3080 need not fight for these, while those looking to score one RTX 3080 GPU can happily claim one pair for them. The sneakers feature a mini version of the NZXT Kraken Z63 AIO liquid cooler with a mini-LCD displaying popular characters from animes such as Yu-Gi-Oh! and Dragon Ball.

While from the side, the sneakers feature a clear window big enough for you to take a glimpsing inside. From the inside, the sneaker appears to feature a fully functioning small form factor PC, and the video also goes on to show a working display connection coming from the sneaker.

Neither Artifact Studio nor NZXT has revealed the specs or price of the supposed mini-PC. So it’s a possibility that these RTX 3080 powered Sneaker PC might never go public and remain just as a crazy concept. It is also a possibility that NZXT might be working towards launching a limited-time wearable Sneaker in collaboration with Artifact Studio, which would only look like the concept Sneaker PC minus the mini-PC.
