Nebula Esports have been crowned the BGMS Season 5 champions after finishing on top of the standings following an intense three-day Grand Finals. The team ended the Finals with 210 points from 18 matches, beating Gladiators Esports and iQOO Orangutan to lift its first major trophy. The fifth season of the BGMI Masters Series featured a prize pool of more than ₹1 crore and concluded after three weeks of competition featuring some of India’s biggest BGMI teams.
Nebula Esports Win BGMS Season 5 With 210 Points
Nebula Esports entered the final day with a strong advantage after impressive performances during the opening two days. Despite the leaderboard continuing to change during the last six matches, the team managed to hold onto the number-one position.
Across the 18 Grand Finals matches, Nebula recorded 210 points, 116 finishes and four Winner Winner Chicken Dinners (WWCDs).
The victory earned Nebula Esports ₹40 lakh in prize money.
Gladiators Esports finished as runners-up with 189 points and received ₹15 lakh. iQOO Orangutan narrowly followed in third with 187 points, earning ₹6 lakh.
Nebula captain Aditya “Aadi” Dawar described winning the team’s first major trophy at one of India’s biggest esports tournaments as a surreal moment. He said the big lead built during the first two days gave the team confidence to continue with its approach on the final day.
KNOWME Named BGMS Season 5 MVP
Nebula’s championship was accompanied by another major individual achievement.
Yash “KNOWME” Negi was named the BGMS Season 5 MVP after recording the most eliminations during the Grand Finals. Along with the MVP trophy, he received a TVS bike.
Meanwhile, Genesis Esports player Mohammed Kaif Gulhamid Khan, aka HUNTERZ, received the Most Wicked Player award for recording the most eliminations across the complete tournament. He was awarded a TVS Raider bike.
BGMS Season 5 Records Over 26 Million Views
NODWIN Gaming also revealed the viewership numbers for BGMS Season 5.
The tournament recorded more than 26 million total views and over 11 million watch hours. Peak concurrent viewership crossed 430,000 viewers, including watch parties.
The season started with the League Stage before progressing through the Super Weekend, Playoffs and finally the Grand Finals. The final 16 teams then played 18 matches across three days to decide the champion.
NODWIN Gaming Co-Founder and Managing Director Akshat Rathee congratulated Nebula and said the goal is to continue developing BGMS as a platform where India’s best players and teams can compete, grow and build their stories.
