Prime Day ends at 11:59 PM PT on October 7 (12:29 PM IST on October 8). The best Nintendo Switch deals still listed are Pokemon Legends: Z-A for Switch 2 at $39.99, Pragmata at $39.99 and the Switch 2 console at £354.99 in the UK. Most of these deals require an Amazon Prime membership.
Prices below were correct at 02:41 AM IST. Prime Day prices can change or sell out without warning, so check the price on the Amazon page before you buy.
When Does Prime Day End?
Amazon’s October sale, officially called Prime Big Deal Days, started at 12:01 AM PT on October 6 and runs for 48 hours. It ends at 11:59 PM PT on October 7.
| Time zone | Prime Day end time |
|---|---|
| Pacific (PT) | October 7, 11:59 PM |
| Eastern (ET) | October 8, 2:59 AM |
| India (IST) | October 8, 12:29 PM |
The sale runs in 22 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Japan. Amazon says end times can differ by country, so UK shoppers should go by the countdown on Amazon UK’s deals page. India isn’t part of this sale.
You need an Amazon Prime membership to get these prices. Prime costs $14.99 a month or $139 a year in the US. New members get a 30-day free trial, which still unlocks the deals today, but Amazon starts charging once the trial ends.
Best Prime Day Nintendo Switch 2 Game Deals (US)
The biggest discount is on Pokemon Legends: Z-A. It’s down to $39.99, which is $30 off and the lowest price trackers have recorded for the Switch 2 version.
| Game | Prime Day price | Regular price | Discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pokemon Legends: Z-A (Switch 2) | $39.99 | $69.99 | 43% |
| Pragmata (Switch 2) | $39.99 | $59.99 | 33% |
| Mario Tennis Fever | $49.99 | $69.99 | 29% |
| Resident Evil Requiem (Switch 2) | $49.99 | $69.99 | 29% |
| Final Fantasy VII Rebirth | $34.99 | $49.99 | 30% |
| Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion | $19.99 | $39.99 | 50% |
| Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Definitive Edition | $19.99 | $29.99 | 33% |
| Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake | $23.74 | Not listed | Not listed |
| Batman: Arkham Trilogy | $26.99 | Not listed | Not listed |
All prices are at Amazon US.
Pragmata is the easiest one to recommend. Capcom’s sci-fi shooter came out this year, and $39.99 is its lowest price so far. Resident Evil Requiem saves $20, but GamesRadar noted that the price is only slightly lower than on earlier sales, so you could also wait for Black Friday.
A few upcoming games also have small pre-order discounts. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is $59.88 instead of $69.99 ahead of its November 5 release, and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is $49.94. If you pre-order on Amazon now, its pre-order price guarantee will refund the difference if the price drops before launch.
Best Nintendo Switch 2 Console Deals
UK: Switch 2 at £354.99
This is the biggest console deal of the sale. Amazon UK has the Switch 2 at £354.99, which is £65 off its £419.99 price. Smyths has matched that price.
Nintendo only just raised the UK price. The Switch 2 UK price increase took it from £395.99 to £419.99 on September 1, 2026. That makes the Prime Day price £41 lower than what the console cost before the increase.
| UK deal | Price | Regular price | Retailer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Switch 2 console | £354.99 | £419.99 | Amazon UK, Smyths |
| Switch 2 + Mario Kart World | £414.94 | £478.99 | Amazon UK |
| Switch 2 + Animal Crossing: New Horizons | £399 | £425 | Currys |
| Super Mario Bros. Wonder | £35 | £49.99 | Amazon UK |
| Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition | £34 | £49.95 | Amazon UK |
| Switch Online, 12 months | £17.99 | £19.99 | Amazon UK |
US: Mario Kart World Bundle at $549.99
US shoppers have fewer options. The Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle is $549.99 at Amazon and includes three months of Nintendo Switch Online. That’s a small saving, and it isn’t close to the UK discount. If you want to buy straight from Nintendo, the official Nintendo store has the Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition for Switch 2 at $29.99 as a pre-order, down from $49.99, ahead of its October 16 release.
Best Switch 2 Accessory Deals
Storage is the accessory most worth buying now. Switch 2 games use microSD Express cards, and those cards cost more than regular microSD cards, so this is a good time to buy one.
| Accessory | Prime Day price | Regular price | Discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| SanDisk 512GB microSD Express | $129.99 | $199.99 | 35% |
| Samsung P9 512GB microSD Express | $104.48 | $149.99 | 30% |
| Nintendo Switch 2 Camera | $29.99 | $54.99 | 45% |
| PDP Afterglow Wireless RGB Controller | $23.74 | $54.99 | 57% |
| SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3P Wireless headset | $79.99 | $109.99 | 27% |
| HORI Puff Pouch (Kirby and Waddle Dee) | $10.50 | $34.99 | 70% |
The Samsung P9 is the cheaper of the two 512GB cards by about $25. Original Switch microSD cards won’t run Switch 2 games, so check that a card says “Express” before you buy it.
Should You Buy Now or Wait for Black Friday?
For Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Pragmata and the UK Switch 2 console, buy now. These are record-low or near-record-low prices, and Black Friday may not beat them by much. For Resident Evil Requiem, Joy-Con 2 controllers and first-party Nintendo games, waiting makes more sense. Joy-Con 2 controllers are only about $4.66 off, which isn’t worth rushing for.
Some Prime Day deals are also being promoted on Twitch this year. The new Twitch Shopping category launched on October 6 with Amazon Live hosts showing products during the sale.
