The Upper Bracket Survival features 16 teams fighting for only eight spots in the BMSD 2026 Semi Finals. After three days and 18 matches, the top eight teams will advance to the Semi Finals, while the bottom eight will move to the Lower Bracket Survival. After Day 1, LEFP, Higgboson Esports, Nebula Esports, 4TR, Iris Esports, HyperCatz, The Knight Mobs and GodLike Esports currently occupy the qualification zone.
LEFP Tops BMSD 2026 Upper Bracket Survival Day 1
LEFP produced the strongest performance of the opening day despite not securing a WWCD. The team collected 43 finish points and 17 placement points, taking its total to 60.
Higgboson Esports was only two points behind with 58. The team secured one WWCD, along with 36 finish points and 22 placement points.
Nebula Esports finished third with 52 points and was the only team inside the top three to secure two WWCDs. 4TR followed in fourth with 47 points.
Iris Esports took fifth with 43 points, while HyperCatz finished sixth with 41. The Knight Mobs and GodLike Esports completed the current top eight with 38 points each.

Team Apex Gaming Outside Top 8 After Day 1
Team Apex Gaming, shown as TAG in the standings, finished Day 1 in ninth place with 36 points. The team secured one WWCD but currently sits just two points behind the qualification zone.
Vijay Esports is 10th with 34 points, followed by K9 Esports with 32.
Orangutan had a difficult opening day and sits 13th with 25 points. Madkings ended the day at the bottom of the table with 18 points.
With another 12 matches still remaining across Day 2 and Day 3, the standings can change significantly before the eight Semi Finals spots are decided.

What Happens Next?
The BMSD 2026 Upper Bracket Survival continues on October 2 with Day 2. All 16 teams will play another six matches before completing their final six games on October 3.
After all 18 matches, the top eight teams will qualify for the Semi Finals, while teams ranked ninth to 16th will move to the Lower Bracket Survival.
Only two points currently separate eighth-placed GodLike Esports and ninth-placed Team Apex Gaming, meaning the battle around the qualification line remains extremely close heading into Day 2.
