Osama Bin Laden used to play Counter Strike

10 Years Ago Today: Osama Bin Laden, the world’s most wanted terrorist and the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks, was successfully targeted by the U.S. Navy SEALs.

According to the files surfaced, Osama Bin Laden might too have played Counter Strike before his death in 2011.

In May 2011, a covert operation operated by the SEAL Team six from the United States successfully executed Laden in his Abbottabad Compound located in Pakistan.

The former al-Qaeda militant has reportedly been linked to some documents revealed by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) which disclose his likings towards a plethora of games along with watching movies and maintaining a journal which was often updated in Arabic, a 220 pages faded yellow notebook.

The files which have been acquired by the CIA do show that Laden had a liking towards Disney Movies which include Chicken Little, Cars and Ice Age. He even played a plethora of games, most specially Counter Strike, a first person action shooter on Steam. Back then, Counter Strike had these hostage modes where the Counter-terrorist forces tried to extract hostages from the captivity of the terrorists. Alongside CS, he too played Half Life, Super Mario, Final Fantasy and several Dragon Ball Z titles as well.

These facts do point to the possibility that we might have popped him while in the opposition or even played with us on the same team.

The files recovered from the mission were made public by the CIA on their website under, “November 2017 release of Abbottabad Compound Material”.
