Amazon has started accepting pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6. Its Brazilian product page includes gameplay details that aren’t showing up anywhere else. The listing touches on the in-game social media system, NPC behaviour, and a few other features Rockstar Games hasn’t confirmed yet.
What the Listing Says
The description calls GTA 6 more immersive than past entries in the series. It points to NPCs with their own daily routines, interactive establishments, and random events scattered across the map as the reason why.
It also backs up the social media system fans have spotted in trailers. Per the listing, players will be able to “watch viral videos, follow influencers, and discover world events” through an in-game mobile phone.
A few other details show up on the page too:
- Players can switch between Jason and Lucia during gameplay
- The two can team up for duo missions, the same way characters paired off in GTA 5
- Next-generation graphics
- A bigger map with more biomes
- More believable NPCs and world-building
The Social Media Angle Isn’t New
Rockstar has done this before. GTA 5, out since 2013, ran parody platforms for this. Snapmatic stood in for Instagram, Bleeter for Twitter, and Lifeinvader for Facebook. Given that history, similar systems returning in GTA 6 isn’t a stretch.
Trailers have already shown short-form video content resembling TikTok. The listing’s references to “viral videos” and “influencers” match that footage.
No Other Region Has This Listing
Only the Brazilian Amazon page carries this wording. Every other regional listing is missing it, and nobody’s confirmed why. It could be an error, or text written without Rockstar’s direct involvement.
Rockstar Games hasn’t addressed any of this directly. Grand Theft Auto 6 is still set for November 19, 2026.
