Best PlayStation Cyber Monday deals 2022

0

The highly coveted PlayStation 5 has eluded fans for far too long but Sony has made sure to stock up right ahead of the holiday season and brings Cyber Monday deals to complement their latest and greatest gaming console.

The PlayStation 5 will have a plethora of deals in both online and offline areas so that fans can save plenty on some of the hottest titles that are in demand. The holiday season sales rack up a huge amount for Sony and the developers so do not be surprised to see some of the recent hits make the list. It is important that said gamers looking to pick up games at a cheaper price keep tabs on the relevant stores.

PS5 console Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals:

It will be pretty safe to assume that games for the PlayStation 4 will be subjected to high discount rates given the console itself will be antiquated in some time. The ideal thing to do would be to grab a PlayStation 5 as soon as Sony announce restocking.

Just like the PlayStation 4, the PS5 will be a long-term solution to your gaming needs and the new games coming out starting this year would be far too demanding for the PlayStation 4 rendering it unusable in the coming days unless old games suffice your needs. Do note that the backward compatibility feature allow all PlayStation 4 games so making a PS5 purchase at this point extremely viable.

The increase in the demand of the PlayStation 5 has seen its prices shot up across the world so the holiday season would be ideal to grab one as Sony are likely to offer discounts for the same. Cyber Monday and Black Froday may see two of the most popular consoles get listed with heavy discounts but the increased MRP has been a deal breaker for many.

Along with the console and games, accessories like the dual shock controller will be listed at discounted rates as well. This presents a great opportunity for everyone looking to get a new console or games or accessories at the same time.

After five days of intense Counter-Strike action, Heroic managed to come out on top after defeating FaZe in the grand finals of the tournament.

BLAST Premier Fall Final Viewership

The final showdown between Heroic and FaZe saw the event hitting a peak viewer count of 421,711, as per data from Esports Charts. The event turned out to be significantly less popular than the BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022, which took place in June.

According to many CS:GO fans, this noticeable decrease in popularity might be due to the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022. In fact, the heavily anticipated Germany vs Spain game in the world cup took place around the same time as the grand finals of BLAST Premier Fall Finals, which may have taken a significant toll on the viewership of the latter.

Registrations Open For Skyesports Championship 4.0 CSGO & DotA 2

Skyesports will host CS:GO and DOTA 2 LAN tournaments by the end of this year in December. The announcement was first reported by TalkEsport as the said event would be part of Skyesports 4.0 visionary.

After weeks of promoting its next LAN tournament, Skyesports, a major Indian esports tournament organizer that has expanded to Southeast Asia, announced the AMD Skyesports Championship 4.0 with Dota 2 and CS:GO.

It is anticipated that the AMD Skyesports Championship 4.0 will take place on LAN in Mumbai around the middle in the month of December. Alongside, the prize pool for the same was revealed today by Skyesports today on their Twitter handle.

The Prize Pool features a massive amount of $25,000 USD for both titles combined. The CS:GO LAN gets $10,000 USD while DOTA 2 has been allotted $15,000 USD from the pool.

Skyesports Championship 4.0 Registrations Opened

Further, the event organizer has provided the community with Registration links that route you to the games which are to be played and their details.

How To Register For Skyesports Championship 4.0

Skyesports’ announcement of two esports titles with a large Indian player base but little competitive popularity surprised the Indian gaming community.

On November 18, Skyesports CEO and Founder Shiva “Marvel” Nandy announced that Dota 2’s “Professional Tournaments” tab had registered the AMD Skyesports Championship 4.0.

After the outbreak, Skyesports, which expanded to South East Asia with Ampverse, would bring back CSGO and Dota 2 LAN events to India. Skyesports has been building a name for itself by sponsoring many events including a variety of competitive titles on a national as well as an international scale.

Although CSGO and Dota 2 each have a substantial user base in India, neither of these competitive games enjoys the same level of popularity there as they do elsewhere in the world. Both titles may attract Indian gamers and allow them to try more competitive games with AMD Skyesports Championship 4.0.

Skyesports also announced the Pokemon Unite India Open earlier this month. The tournament’s prize pool is Rs 22,50,000 (approximately $27,165 USD). Registration for the same is now live if you wish to register yourself. The AMD Skyesports Championship 4.0 and Pokemon Unite India Open 2022 will be LAN events.

S1mple Suggests Map Changes To The CSGO Competitive Pool

A recent CSGO update saw Valve removing Dust 2 from the competitive map pool of the shooter while Anubis was added in its place. In an interview with Blix, professional CSGO player and legendary AWPer Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has revealed his thoughts on this change, while also discussing which maps he would remove from or add to the current map pool of the game.

S1mple mentioned that he doesn’t have a problem with Valve adding Anubis to the official map pool, but he isn’t very happy with the removal of Dust 2, a map that is often considered to be the face of the Counter-Strike series.

Furthermore, the 25-year-old claimed that if he was the CEO of Valve, he would remove a few maps from the pool while adding some others.

“I would remove Ancient, add Train,” s1mple said in the interview. “I would remove Anubis, add Tuscan. I would remove Vertigo, add Anubis. And I would upgrade and do a lot of updates on Anubis and Tuscan. I wouldn’t change anything on Train at all because it was perfect.”

Even though s1mple chooses to remove Ancient from the competitive pool, NAVI’s stats on the map are decent, to say the least. According to HLTV, the org boasts a 69.2% winrate on Ancient.

While s1mple wishes to add Tuscan and Train to the map pool, it’s unlikely to happen any time before the upcoming BLAST Paris Major which is scheduled for May 2021.

Heroic wins CSGO Blast Premier Fall Finals

0

The first big event after the Major has concluded has we have Team Heroic as our winner. Both teams having faced once before in the tournament knew what to expect on the server paired with Danish in-game leaders on both sides was ideal for a tactical fight. Looking at very recent history, Heroic made a deeper run at the major compared to FaZe but their performance at Blast painted a better picture for the international team.

Heroic went with Overpass, a map they knew FaZe were weak on while FaZe responded with Inferno, Mirage was left for the final map.

Overpass:

Despite an early 5 round lead from FaZe, Heroic levelled the score in no time and made a comeback on their offence which was nothing short of a well drilled one. FaZe were able to cut it close on multiple occasions but Heroic knew what they had to do. Moving onto the offence, FaZe failed to yield much as Heroic got to 16 rounds where FaZe only managed 11.

Statistics via HLTV.

Inferno:

FaZe were quick to answer back, while their T side should have yielded more than 7 rounds looking at how meticulous it was. Heroic did manage to control the feisty T side but not until their own failure to do much against FaZe’s rock-solid defence saw them only get 4 rounds more before FaZe were able to close the game out.

Mirage:

The highly dominant defence from Heroic saw FaZe fail to post more than 4 rounds on their offence. Heroic had an answer for everything FaZe and karrigan threw at them as they were in the need of 5 more rounds to win the entire tournament. FaZe started off strong in their defence and quickly levelled the score. It is when FaZe were slacking off but managed to push the game to overtime. Heroic ended the first half of OT with a single-round lead and two consecutive rounds win saw them win the entire series.

The Danes were dubbed as onliners for the longest of times and this would mark as their first every LAN victory. cadiaN having led the side to a couple of prestigious online tournaments has now finally won a LAN beating some of the best teams on their way. Something for the Danes to enjoy having undergone few tough losses in major LAN tournaments before this.
