List Of All Winter Wonderland Challenges in Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2’s seasonal event is among the greatest in the first-person shooter genre and is enjoyed by a sizable portion of the game’s player base. There are quite a few different kinds of minigames available.

Collectively, there are the Freezethaw Elimination, the Snowball Deathmatch, the Yeti Hunter, and finally Mei’s Snowball Offensive events. 

There are three previously featured arcade modes that will be playable during the Winter Wonderland event. As an added bonus, players that participate in the event and complete the tasks associated with these game modes will gain access to the new Ice Queen Brigitte skin.

In the Yeti Hunter mode, up to five players take on the role of Mei and must collaborate to freeze a Winston who has broken into their food cache.

For Winston to unleash his ultimate and go mad on the Mei menagerie, he must consume a certain quantity of food. The game style Freezethaw Elimination (4v4) pits two teams of four players against one another in an effort to win. The catch is that when a player is eliminated, they are frozen in place and must be thawed out by a teammate.

Each time a team wins a round, they lose access to their previously used heroes, requiring them to find new strategies each time.

There are nine challenges for the Winter Wonderland event in 2022.

  • Abominable – Win a game in Yeti Hunter as a Yeti – Ramattra Ornament Spray and 1500 Battle Pass XP
  • Time for Cocoa – Win a game in Mei’s Snowball Offensive – 1500 Battle Pass XP
  • Monster Hunter – Win a game in Yeti Hunter as a Mei – 1500 Battle Pass XP
  • Warmhearted – Thaw 15 Allies in Freezethaw Elimination – Kiriko Ornament Spray and 1500 Battle Pass XP
  • Caught a Cold – Catch 6 snowballs in Snowball Deathmatch – Junker Queen Ornament Spray and 1500 Battle Pass XP
  • Unthawed – Win a game of Freezethaw Elimination – 1500 Battle Pass XP

The way to collect snowballs is to pick the ones that come your way but how. The way you do it is to hit your respective meele button when it is near your meele range. Mei will open up the hand and collect the incoming snowballs. You can pickup a maximum of 3 snowballs and use them to hit other Meis.

Snowballs are launched from a certain direction so make sure you are looking towards it to get the maximum out of it. You can pick up 3 snowballs at max and use them to hit back at other Meis.

While you are busy picking up snowballs, make sure that you are not attacked by other Meis in the meanwhile. Getting hit by other Meis will known you down which will be a significant blow in your quest to winning the FFA Snowball DM.

23savage Becomes the First Player to Reach 13K MMR in Dota 2

Talon Esports star Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon has become the first player in the history of Dota 2 to reach 13,000 MMR in the game’s ranked system.

The 20-year-old shared his achievement through a Twitter post today, where he shared a screenshot of him hitting the seemingly impossible milestone. He also claimed that he had to grind Dota 2 non-stop for three weeks to accomplish this.

“After 3 weeks of playing 24/7 I reached 13k mmr,” he said.

However, this achievement from the position one player doesn’t come as much of a surprise. 23savage had previously taken the world by storm by becoming the first player to hit the 12K MMR bracket back in 2021. He was also the second player to hit 11K MMR IN 2020.

Since the conclusion of The International 2022 in October, 23savage has been rocking the SEA pubs ahead of the upcoming DPC season. Some of his most-played heroes of all time include Morphling, Faceless Void, Monkey King, Juggernaut, and Phantom Assassin.

Currently, 23savage is a part of the active roster of Talon Esports alongside Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman, Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong, Worawit “Q” Mekchai, and Chan “Oli” Chon Kien.

Red Bull M.E.O. Cricket Invitational to take place on 16th December at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai engaging the esports and cricket audience with a fun event which will be livestreamed on Red Bull Game On (YouTube Channel) where viewers get to see their favorite e-gamers in the rawest state, playing a game of box cricket.

The winners of the Red Bull M.E.O. Season 5 WCC (World Cricket Championship) will be a part of the cricket match, and the toss for the cricket match will take place on WCC 3. The winner and the runner- up of the Red Bull M.E.O. Season 5 WCC play a single over watch on WCC 3 and the winner of the in-game match, wins the toss, and the captain elects to bat or bowl.

Red Bull M.E.O., a global competitive celebration of the mobile gaming scene, found its national champions at the national final on Sunday 20th November at the picturesque Sunder Nursery, a 16th century marvel and the capital’s first ever arboretum.

Some of India’s top esports teams came face to face to battle it out across three titles: Pokémon UNITE, Clash of Clans and World Cricket Championship 3. The winners of each of the titles will experience a Formula 1 Grand Prix live.

Hyderabad’s Rachakonda Sai Kumar emerged champion against Ujjwal Sharma from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh in a thrilling encounter.

A total of 96 players qualified for the play-offs after 48 days of daily qualifiers starting from 16th September to 2nd November which was played on both WCC 2 and WCC3. The playoffs took place between 8th to 11th November. The top 2 players progressed to the India Finale.

On 16th, 2 teams of top 8 gaming content creators lead by Red Bull Players Ankit ‘V3nom’ Panth and Ujjawal Chaurasia Aka Techno Gamerz, will play box cricket at Andheri Sports Complex, 2.30pm onwards.

Rules: 

⦁ Each team is made up of 8 players.
⦁ The bowler must bowl 6 legal deliveries to constitute an over.
⦁ The game will have two umpires standing at either end of the wicket. The umpires make decisions on whether the batsmen are out after an appeal and also check that the bowler has bowled a legal delivery. 
⦁ All umpire decisions are final, there are no reviews.
⦁ A batsmen can be given out by either being bowled ( the ball hitting their stumps), caught (fielder catches the ball without it bouncing), Leg Before Wicket (the ball hits the batsmen’s pads impeding its line into the stumps), stumped (the wicket keeper strikes the stumps with their gloves whilst the batsmen is outside of their crease with ball in hand), hit wicket (the batsmen hits their own wicket), Handled ball ( the batsmen handles the cricket ball on purpose), timed out (the player fails to reach the crease within 30 seconds of the previous batsmen leaving the field), hit ball twice (batsmen hits the cricket ball twice with their bat) and obstruction ( the batsmen purposely prevents the fielder from getting the ball).
⦁ The scores are then cumulative and the team with the most runs after each innings are the winner.
⦁ The fielding team must have one designated wicket keeper who is the only person allow to wear pads and gloves on the field. The wicket keeper stands behind the opposite end to the bowler to catch the ball.
