Where to Find Combat Cache in Fortnite?

0

As the highly anticipated Spider-Verse event takes center stage in Fortnite, players are gearing up for the exciting Season 3 set to launch in June. If you’re aiming to maximize your Battle Pass progress before the new season arrives, it’s crucial to focus on the weekly Quests, including the newly introduced ‘Stake a Claim’ Quests in the Trials. These Quests not only offer thrilling challenges but also provide a substantial boost in XP. To conquer these trials, it’s essential to understand the mechanics of the Combat Cache in Fortnite.

The Combat Cache presents an excellent opportunity to acquire high-tier loot during your Fortnite matches, including formidable weapons. Securing a Combat Cache before your adversaries grants you a significant advantage in the battle.

Functioning similarly to the now-vaulted Supply Drops that used to provide weapons and items during matches, the Combat Cache has become the go-to source for top-notch gear in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

Where to Find Combat Cache in Fortnite?

Around eight minutes into a match, Combat Caches can be found in various random locations on the map. Keep an eye out for a prominent beam of light and a distinct marker depicting a Combat Cache’s image, indicating its presence.

To successfully retrieve an item from a Combat Cache, follow these steps:

  • The Combat Cache sign won’t display on the map for almost eight minutes, so jump into a Fortnite match and wait patiently.
  • Navigate towards the designated Combat Cache location.
  • Approach the Combat Cache and press the Interact button to initiate the collection process.
  • Exercise patience for 50 seconds as the Combat Cache opens.
  • Once the Combat Cache is open, seize the loot that spills out and claim it for yourself.

To ensure you’re well-prepared for potential enemy encounters, it’s advisable to gather an arsenal of weapons and healing items before venturing toward the Combat Cache. Keep in mind that the value of the loot diminishes over time, as indicated by the changing color of the beam of light. Thus, swift action is vital to secure the most valuable rewards.

Completing the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Quest merely requires acquiring a single item from a Combat Cache. Once accomplished, you’ll be handsomely rewarded with a substantial 35,000 XP, a testament to your skill and determination.

Don’t miss out on the exclusive rewards awaiting you in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. Master the art of obtaining Combat Caches, and propel your Battle Pass progress to new heights.

Gamers to Boycott Xbox as Microsoft explore in-game Ads

0

The gaming community was left in shock when a Microsoft spokesperson announced that they are exploring the option of running in-game and thereby sparking controversy with Xbox owners claiming to boycott the console if the tech giant decides to go through with this.

Microsoft is reportedly considering integrating advertisements directly into their games, which has sparked dissatisfaction among fans. During an interview with Rolling Stone, Sarah Bond from Microsoft, discussed the future of Xbox and the company’s efforts to enhance fan engagement.

She mentioned that additional approaches are being explored and stated, “We’ve talked about how we’re experimenting with other models, like what does it mean for advertising in games which is more prevalent in mobile – are there models that work well in PC and console?”

One of the primary concerns expressed by gamers pertains to the potential impact of in-game advertisements on the gameplay experience itself. There is a genuine apprehension that these advertisements might disrupt critical moments, disrupt the game’s pacing, or create undesirable distractions.

Gaming enthusiasts argue that these interruptions take away the immersive nature they seek, taking off the very essence of what makes gaming a special and engaging medium. However, the introduction of in-game ads has raised concerns among gamers regarding the potential influence or compromise of creative decisions to align with corporate interests.

Having in-game ads will water down the gaming experience and with Xbox already playing second fiddle to the PlayStation, this might end the story for Microsoft and their console.

VCT Masters Tokyo: Meet the Qualified Teams Making Their Mark

0

Masters Tokyo is set to be the next big event in the history of VCT after the LOCK//IN. The tournament will be played before the Champions.

As we saw it happen at LOCK//IN, the teams competing at Masters Tokyo will be helping their region with an additional Champions slot at the Last Chance Qualifier. However, the top three EMEA teams will qualify for the Champions with those from Americas and Asia-Pacific having already qualified.

However, we do know that 12 teams will play in Masters Tokyo: four from EMEA, three from the Americas, three from the Pacific, and two from China.

The VCT Masters Tokyo will commence from June 11 till the 25th and they will be held in the eastern suburb of Tokyo, in Chiba. 12 teams will be contesting for the trophy with 10 to be determined on the basis of their regional performances while the rest two to be representing China.

As the victorious VCT LOCK//IN region, EMEA will be granted an additional entry to the VCT Masters Tokyo tournament. Compared to the Asia-Pacific and the Americas regions, it will send four teams to Japan.

Riot Games announced that the two Chinese teams for Tokyo were decided at the conclusion of the first act of the FGC VALORANT Invitational 2023. Attacking Soul Esports, the winners, and EDward Gaming, the runners-up, will both travel to the VCT Masters in Tokyo.

Valorant Night Market Might Return This June

0

It is highly anticipated that the next Valorant Night Market would arrive in the latter half of June 2023.

After the 1.14 patch, Valorant provided the community with its first-ever Night Market which aims to provide the player base with weapons at discounted rates. Sometimes getting the skin bundles from the store can be a way more hefty job. Night market allows you to get either Prime, Deluxe, or other grade weapons at a slightly lower price than their original.

When the Night Market opens, you can keep track of the skins you’ve chosen using a handy indication in Valorant’s main menu. Don’t expect to find any skin collections that have been launched in the last two months on the Night Market.

The Night Market will never offer you a discount on an entire bundle, but only individual skins from a random bundle. You’re blessed with a total of six weapon skin cards which are revealed once flipped.

The Night Market randomly chooses six Premium or Deluxe weapon skins to provide a discount. However, once a slot is locked on the skin, that slot can’t be re-used again till the player buys that weapon skin at the discounted rate first.

In case you don’t want a skin that you drew, your best bet is to draw another slot and hope to get a discount on the skin you want. As we all know, new skin line bundles sometimes cost you a bomb, and here is where the Night Market comes into action.

The silver lining is that the Night Market comes back quite regularly, and the wait for a new set of skins is only eight weeks. Although re-rolling skins with premium currency would be a wonderful addition, Riot Games has made no hints that this functionality is in the works.

Earlier, the Night Market saw the developers tune it with Bad luck protection which would guarantee you some exciting offers. Also, once you flip your cards, you won’t get more than two skins of the same weapon.

The only way you can refresh your weapon skin cards is if you purchase the currently available choices. You have 12 more days left to redeem all of the six offers and as mentioned above, after every purchase, there’s always a new offer exclusively waiting for you.

FaZe Rain says Org Bleeding Six Figures Monthly in Esports

In a recent development, Nordan ‘Rain’ Shat, a prominent member of FaZe Clan, has publicly revealed that the organization is experiencing substantial financial losses in its esports endeavors. Rain’s claims have sparked widespread interest and raised concerns about the financial sustainability of FaZe Clan’s esports ventures.

Rain, who has been engaged in a public feud with the higher-ups at FaZe Clan, has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with the company’s management decisions. In his latest salvo on Instagram, Rain not only criticized the organization’s recruitment of Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff as a form of “damage control” during a legal battle but also asserted that FaZe Clan loses hundreds of thousands of dollars on esports every month.

According to Rain’s Instagram story, FaZe Clan reportedly incurs losses amounting to a six-figure sum—specifically, $700,000—on esports on a monthly basis. He directly attributed these financial setbacks to the President of FaZe Clan, whom he holds responsible for making what Rain considers to be poor decisions that adversely impact the organization’s financial well-being.

FaZe Clan’s financial performance in its most recent 2022 fourth-quarter results indicates that the organization generated a substantial $70 million in revenue. However, it is disconcerting to note that FaZe Clan concluded its first financial year as a publicly traded company with a staggering $53.2 million in losses. Unfortunately, the breakdown of these losses and the extent to which esports spending contributes to them remain undisclosed in the company’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings.

FaZe Clan boasts an impressive array of teams competing in various popular esports titles. Their presence spans Rocket League, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG), CS:GO, Valorant, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, FIFA, and Fortnite. Additionally, FaZe Clan holds a coveted slot in the esteemed Call of Duty League as the Atlanta FaZe. The operation and maintenance of such an extensive esports portfolio undoubtedly entail significant financial investments to support player salaries, training facilities, travel expenses, and other essential operational costs.

Despite the reported financial losses, FaZe Clan remains unwavering in its commitment to the world of esports. In a letter addressed to its shareholders, the organization affirmed its intention to persistently invest in esports, considering it a vital driving force behind the FaZe brand and an essential means of engaging with their fanbase. While the company aims to diversify its revenue streams, it anticipates that esports will continue to grow, albeit with a reduced share of overall revenue. FaZe Clan emphasized its dedication to supporting its teams and ensuring their continued success in the leagues they compete in.

The delicate balancing act between financial stability and nurturing a thriving esports ecosystem poses a significant challenge for FaZe Clan. As esports garners increasing mainstream attention and captivates a broader audience, organizations like FaZe Clan face mounting pressure to remain competitive and retain their prominent position within the industry. Maintaining top-tier teams necessitates substantial financial support, which includes not only player salaries but also investment in training facilities and covering travel expenses.

FaZe Clan’s willingness to bear these expenses underscores its commitment to preserving its reputation and competitiveness in the cutthroat esports community. However, striking a balance between financial sustainability and esports success will be paramount for FaZe Clan’s continued growth and relevance in the dynamic landscape of competitive gaming.

As the esports industry continues to evolve, it remains to be seen how FaZe Clan will navigate the financial challenges it currently faces. The revelations made by Rain shed light on the organization’s precarious financial situation, sparking discussions about the viability of its esports ventures. All eyes are now on FaZe Clan as it strives to find a sustainable path forward while upholding its legacy as a pioneering force in the esports realm.

CSGO Paris Major recap: Everything that went down at Accor Arena

If you live under a rock and didn’t follow only the biggest CSGO event ever, here’s a full recap of CSGO Paris Major and everything that led to Vitality’s clean sweep against Gamer Legion at Accor Arena.

On May 21, the CSGO history book was reopened to lock in all accomplishments for one last time. From Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen’s five major wins to Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut’s first, records were made before a packed arena. So if you feel left out looking at major content over social media, keep reading to catch up to everything that went down.

Team Vitality is your final major champion, and their journey wasn’t an easy one. Here’s a quick recap of CSGO Paris Major.

Read more | Team Vitality defeat Apeks in Blast.tv Paris Major 2023 Semi-Final

Team Vitality’s journey to the finals

Team Vitality was the first team to punch their tickets for the playoffs after beating Monte in a 2-0 fashion. ITB (Into the Breach) was next on their list, but the American core fell hard. The apEX-led roster allowed only eleven rounds to ITB on their own map pick: Vertigo. The second map Anubis, however, was close as ITB bagged 12 rounds but failed to make anything valuable out of them.

Next, Vitality toasted Apeks in the semi-finals, but this win wasn’t as breezy. Apeks looked sharp on Mirage, with sky-rocketing confidence after beating the Liquid legends in the quarter-finals. However, Team Vitality clawed through, winning by two rounds on the first map and by four on Vertigo, booking a berth in the Grand Finals.

How Gamer Legion made the cut

Gamer Legion was up against Monte in their first Champions stage game. Monte was the favorite going into this game, considering their blood-curdling performance against NAVI, but Gamer Legion made the faceoff look too easy. The European combine clean swept Monte on Mirage and Overpass.

The first set was easy, but a big red Heroic stood between GamerLegion and a Paris dream. Heroic’s iconic history clearly had “favorites” written on them in bold, but Mihai “iM” Ivan and the squad didn’t care. After an awfully close game on Ancient and Inferno, the GamerLegion youngsters pushed the matter to the third map, locking things up for the Paris Major grand finale.

The semi-final upset was indeed a confidence booster for the youngsters at GamerLegion, but it wasn’t enough to stand tall in front of Vitality’s veterans. With the support of the Golden Hornets, the French crowd, and apEX’s shot-calling, Vitality ultimately lifted the last CSGO major trophy.

Still, iM certainly emerged as the breakout player of the BLAST Paris Major, with a 1.22 rating on the second map. Frederik ‘acoR’ Gyldstrand and Isak ‘isak’ Fahlén were also on top of the scoreboard, bagging crucial AWP and pistol kills.,

How the eight teams qualified for the Champions stage

The major kicked off with 16 teams, out of which eight were sifted out in the Challengers stage. The legends stage started with eight teams up against top-ranked teams picked by the RMR (Regional Major Qualifiers.)

Key events from the Paris Major show

If you were keeping track of the scoreline from your phone and missed the show, fret not. Here’s a rundown and a recap of key events from the CSGO Paris Major.

The event began with a show match between The Dream Team and France. The Dream Team boasted the crème de la crème of CSGO, featuring sharpshooters like Owen “smooya” Butterfield, Cai “CYPHER” Watson, Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, and Martin “STYKO” Styk. On the flip side, France’s lineup starred Richard “shox” Papillon, Audric “JACKZ” Jug, Cédric “RpK” Guipouy, Kenny “kennyS” Schrub, and Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro. It was a clash of the titans, but it was s1mple’s breathtaking clutch plays that tipped the scales in favor of the Dream Team, securing their victory with a 12-16 score line.

CSGO Paris major show match recap

Now, Gabe Newell, the elusive maestro, decided to remain incognito once again, so the pre-show of the final major wasn’t exactly headline-worthy. Team entrances were indeed a visual treat, but besides that, nothing last-major-ish happened.

Once the games started, the real fun began. Team Vitality showed those young guns exactly what they were made of, living up to everyone’s sky-high expectations. The French powerhouse effortlessly claimed a resounding 2-0 victory without breaking a sweat. Things got a tad dicey on Nuke, but ZywOo’s sniper helped the Frenchmen bounce back into the game to claim victory.

As expected, ZywOo was crowned the MVP of the major, the icing on the cake for the French sniper, especially since this marked his maiden major triumph. While ZywOo reveled in his inaugural glory, dupreeh etched his name in the annals of history, shattering records with an unmatched feat of securing five major wins. Danny “Zonic” Sørensen would also go down in CSGO history for coaching five CSGO major winning rosters.

Not just that, there was also a fake knife unboxing at the major, which would eventually become the butt of many CSGO memes to come. During the major, there was a jaw-dropping fake knife unboxing that sent the Accor Arena crowd into a frenzy. A fan unboxed a Chroma 3 case on a live stream, and pandemonium ensued. However, it was later confirmed to be an elaborate prank.

So, that’s a quick CSGO Paris Major recap. It had everything from top-tier showdowns and record-breaking triumphs to epic pranks that had the CSGO community buzzing.

Valorant Magepunk 3.0 bundle: Release Date and Price inside

Valorant, Riot’s FPS, has been a resounding success since its release in 2020, thanks to its unique blend of tactical shooting mechanics and ability-based gameplay along with a wide selection of incredible-looking cosmetics that entice the player base to grind the game out.

Magepunk is back to Valorant with a revamped line of armoury and an innovative take on melee weapons. After the hype created around Episode 6 Act 3’s release, there were several reports which surfaced, hinting at the release of Magepunk 3.0. All Valorant players can stop waiting now; the brand new Magepunk 3.0 collection is on its way to the shop.

According to a previous leak by ‘ValorLeaks’ on Twitter, the Magepunk 3.0 skin bundle is just around the corner, and it will include skins for both the Phantom and the Vandal alongside a new knife. The two remaining guns that will be featured in the bundle were still unclear at the time of writing.

Valorant Magepunk 3.0 Release Date

As per the tweet sent out by Riot Games, the bundle is expected to hit the in-game store on May 29, 2023. This will be a week later after the release of Patch 6.10 which ships out on May 23.

Valorant Magepunk 3.0 Skins

Magepunk 3.0 will reportedly feature the following 3 weapons:

1. Phantom

2. Vandal

3. Sparkswitch Melee

Although new collections typically release alongside Patches, the developers’ decision to postpone Patch 6.09 means that this time will be significantly different. On top of that, it’d extend the shelf life of the Run It Back series.

The Sparkswitch melee will join the Shock Gauntlet and Electroblade as this line’s third melee weapon skin. There are a lot of butterfly knives in the game, so fans are hoping the Sparkswitch will feature similar motions.

Since previous bundles have included as many as five weapons each, it is still unclear whether the Magepunk 2.0 bundle would follow the same convention.

Maybe Riot has two more weapons up its sleeve for the Magepunk treatment, or the developer is saving some of them for the Magepunk 4.0 bundle.

The pricing of the Magepunk 3.0 bundle is yet to be determined but according to dataminers, the price of this newest iteration might be comparatively less than the previous ones as they only include 3 weapons.
