How to Fix the No Commentary Bug in EA FC 24?

0

The bug in question seems to predominantly affect the PC version of the game available on Steam, causing an unsettling silence during matches in EA FC 24. This silence detracts from the immersive experience that commentary typically provides, necessitating a solution to restore the game’s auditory elements.

How to Fix the No Commentary Bug in EA FC 24?

Follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue:

Verifying File Integrity

One of the initial steps to rectify any issues with a Steam game is to conduct a file integrity check. This process, which is relatively quick, could resolve not only the commentary bug but also other potential issues within EA FC 24 that users might not have encountered yet.

Modifying Language Settings

If the commentary remains absent post-integrity check, altering the game’s Steam language settings is another viable solution. This method is even more straightforward than the integrity check and involves toggling the language settings, launching, and relaunching the game to reinstate the commentary.

Enabling Custom Camera Settings

A third alternative, albeit slightly unconventional, involves switching to Custom Camera Settings. This adjustment, accessible from the main menu, has proven effective for some players in resolving the no commentary bug in EA FC 24.

Despite these workaround solutions, EA Support has yet to release an official patch to permanently fix this issue. Until then, players are left to employ these temporary fixes to mitigate the impact of the bug on their gaming experience.

These outposts act as safe houses and storage places for resources, allowing players to establish a foothold almost immediately in the game.

How to Build Outposts in Starfield?

Building outposts in Starfield is a straightforward process. Players need to place an Outpost Beacon and activate it. While these beacons can be placed anywhere, players should consider the proximity to resources and potential threats in the area. Here’s a quick guide to setting up an outpost:

  • Find the Ideal Location: Choose a spot where you want to place an outpost.
  • Use Your Scanner: Aim it at the spot where you intend to place the Outpost Beacon.
  • Place the Beacon: To activate it and verify the position, press the corresponding button on your platform.
  • Customize Your Outpost: Once the beacon is placed, players can build out their outpost with storage, structures, defense, and more, connecting them using Cargo Links.

How to Increase Crew Capacity in Starfield?

0

Managing and increasing your crew capacity is crucial for gaining an edge in combat and exploring the vast reaches of space more efficiently.

Ships in Starfield come with a predetermined number of possible crew members. However, this number is not rigid and can be increased through various means, allowing players to optimize their ships for their adventures in space.

How to Increase Crew Capacity in Starfield?

Players have multiple avenues to augment their crew capacity. One straightforward method is to acquire a larger ship, which naturally possesses a higher crew capacity. However, for those who prefer to stick with their current ships, several modifications can be made.

Adding a Habitat Module, upgrading the reactor, and enhancing the cockpit are all viable options for increasing the number of crew members your ship can carry. Each upgrade not only adds more slots but also provides access to superior parts, further enhancing your ship’s capabilities.

By leveling up this skill, players can increase their crew capacity without making any alterations to their ship. Engaging in combat and boarding enemy ships with a full crew are effective strategies to level up this skill quickly.

The game offers a diverse pool of potential crew members, each bringing their unique skills to the table. Early-game companions from Constellation can be recruited without any cost, providing valuable bonuses and versatility in combat.

Additionally, players can visit local bars to hire specialists, who, despite their lesser bonuses compared to companions, can be valuable additions to the crew in the early stages of the game.

Organisers deny Sidemen ringside seats for KSI vs Tommy Fury boxing match

0

The KSI vs. Tommy Fury boxing match has been one of the most highly anticipated matches in recent times and now the date has been fixed for October 18th.

Sideman has rooted for KSI in every fight he has had over the years however they have confirmed that for the PRIME Card fight, they will not be by his side against Tommy Fury. The Sidemen had been his great source of motivation for KSI in the ring, and unfortunately, he will be missing them this time around in what is presumed to be one of the toughest fights in his career.

“We’re in a box,” Miniminter revealed. “We’re not allowed our seats by the ringside, unfortunately,” Zerkaa added. “We’ve been demoted as KSI’s friends.

In the latest episode of Sidecast Podcast, the members of Sidemen confirmed that they were unable to get ringside seats and had to occupy somewhere else in the area far from the ring. Apparently, the YouTube group’s fame was just reduced to “KSI’s friends” and their request for ringside seats was denied.

They further revealed that KSI was unable to help them as it wasn’t down to him. Behzinga in particular believes that the organisers find more value in selling those tickets than in giving them away to the Sidemen and as a result, their request was denied.

“Not JJ, just to clear that up. Not JJ.” they confirmed, affirming KSI was unable to get them the seats.

Indian Esports Industry Sees Massive Growth as Asian Games Shine the Spotlight

0

In recent years, Indian esports industry has experienced a meteoric rise, with the player base and enthusiasm for competitive gaming reaching unprecedented levels. According to a report by Money Control, the number of esports players in the country surged from 6 lakh in 2021 to a staggering 10 lakh in 2022. This rapid expansion is expected to continue, with projections indicating that the player count will reach an astonishing 25 lakh by the end of the current year.

The Rise of Indian Esports Industry

One of the driving forces behind this surge is the inclusion of esports as a medal event in the upcoming Asian Games. This development has injected fresh energy into the Indian esports scene, inspiring both newcomers and established players to aim for greatness. As Mayank Prajapati, representing India in the Street Fighter V game in the Asian Games, puts it, “There is nothing bigger than representing your country in the game you love.”

The journey to the Asian Games has not been without its challenges, but it has undeniably brought esports to the forefront of Indian sports and entertainment. Tirth Mehta from India had already won a bronze in Hearthstone during the 2018 Asian Games when esports was first introduced as a demonstration title. Now, with esports as an official medal event, the stakes are higher than ever.

Beyond personal glory, the inclusion of esports in the Asian Games has brought about a shift in perspective. Lokesh Suji, director of the Esports Federation of India (ESFI), noted that it has not only legitimized esports but also garnered greater support from parents and authorities.

Additionally, with the return of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Free Fire India, the esports industry will only grow in the future. These previously banned titles command a significant market share within the esports industry. Notably, since its return in May 2023, the game has already witnessed a tournament with an astounding INR 2.1 Crore prize pool – BGMI Masters Series Season 2. Furthermore, the ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 features an equally impressive prize pool of INR 2.1 Crore. This serves as clear evidence of how rapidly the industry is growing in India.

Challenges Face by the Indian Esports Industry

However, it’s not all smooth sailing. Some esports titles, such as Arena of Valor and Peace Elite AGV, are banned in India, impacting the country’s participation in certain events at the Asian Games. This could potentially affect India’s overall medal count, a concern raised by Mayank Prajapati. The bans have also had financial implications, as the prize money for esports competitions dropped from Rs 22 crore in 2021 to Rs 15 crore in the following year.

How to Chat in Valorant?

0

Whether you’re coordinating with your team for a site push or just want to share some friendly banter, knowing how to chat in Valorant is essential. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you master in-game communication.

Before diving into the intricacies of chatting, it’s crucial to know how to access the chat window. By default, pressing the ‘Enter’ key on your keyboard will bring up the chat box. This allows players to type messages and communicate with their teammates or opponents.

How to Chat in Valorant?

Valorant offers multiple chat channels to cater to different communication needs:

  • Team Chat: This is the default chat channel. Messages sent here are visible only to your teammates. To access this channel, simply press ‘Enter’ and start typing.
  • All Chat: Want to communicate with both your teammates and opponents? Switch to the ‘All Chat’ channel by typing ‘/all’ before your message.
  • Party Chat: If you’re playing with a group of friends and want to chat privately, use the ‘Party Chat’ channel. Initiate this by typing ‘/party’ followed by your message.

Inevitably, there will be times when you encounter toxic players or those who spam the chat. Valorant provides an option to mute such players. To mute a player, open the scoreboard, find the player’s name, and click on the mute icon next to it. This ensures a distraction-free gaming experience.

While knowing the technical aspects of chatting is essential, effective communication is more than just typing messages. Always strive to share relevant information, be respectful, and remember that positive reinforcement can boost team morale.

Fortnite Players Can Now Claim Refunds for Unwanted Items: FTC

0

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has initiated a claims process for Fortnite players who were charged for unwanted items, stemming from a settlement with Epic Games. This development follows allegations that Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, engaged in deceptive practices and utilized dark patterns to induce players into making unintended purchases.

In December 2022, the FTC brought to light allegations against Epic Games, accusing the company of deploying various design tricks aimed at consumers of all ages, leading them to make unintended in-game purchases. The company also allegedly facilitated children in accumulating charges without parental consent and penalized consumers who contested unauthorized charges with their credit card companies.

A settlement finalized in March 2023, amounting to $245 million, mandates Epic Games to provide refunds to consumers who were misled into making unwanted purchases. The FTC is in the process of notifying over 37 million people via email about their eligibility for compensation, a process expected to conclude in a month. Consumers have until January 17, 2024, to submit their claims.

How to Claim Your Fortnite Refund?

Information regarding the filing of claims is available at www.ftc.gov/Fortnite. For any queries related to the claims process, consumers can contact the administrator by phone at 1-833-915-0880 or by email at [email protected].

This incident underscores the importance of consumer protection and transparency in the gaming industry. It highlights the need for stringent measures to safeguard consumers from deceptive practices and unauthorized charges. The proactive stance of the FTC in addressing such issues is pivotal in maintaining trust and fairness in the gaming ecosystem.
