Liquid Comeback Against NAVI in BLAST Premier Fall Groups

Team Liquid shines as the freshly minted roster takes a massive win against the world number 1 in NAVI. Twistzz has found his stride as an IGL after taking down the highly experienced Aleksib in a battle of wits as NAVI bow down and will play in the lower brackets.

  • Liquid removed Nuke
  • Natus Vincere removed Vertigo
  • Liquid picked Anubis
  • Natus Vincere picked Mirage
  • Liquid removed Dust2
  • Natus Vincere removed Ancient
  • Inferno was left over

Map 1: Anubis; Pick – Liquid; Winner – Liquid

Liquid got off to a rough start on their defense in the first half, having lost the pistol round, they never managed to get any grip on the game and as a result, NAVI managed to run away with the first half. A settler T side on fell through in 4 rounds, besides which NAVI remained flawless, closing the half with a 4-8 scoreline.

Liquid stepped up big time on their T side, a completely different look compared to what they had to show in the first half caused them to run a near-perfect T side of their own. NAVI only managed to get 3 rounds which cut it close but not close enough for Liquid to take home their map pick with a 13-11 scoreline.

Map 2: Mirage; Pick – NAVI; Winner – NAVI

NAVI’s pick of Mirage started with a strong T side as Liquid failed to post a round before the 6th, however, NAVI was able to continue with their domination of Liquid as they closed the first half of Mirage with a 10-2 scoreline.

The second half story was far from the first map as NAVI did not let Liquid get a single round or start a comeback whatsoever. Having failed on their offense Liquid was quick to concede 3 more rounds as the map ended with a 13-2 scoreline for NAVI.

Map 3: Inferno; Pick – Decider; Winner – Liquid

NAVI continued their momentum from Map 2 but Liquid won a streak of rounds at the end of the first half saw closed down the lead before moving on with their offense. The first half closed with a 7-5 scoreline.

Liquid once again put on their comeback hat in the second half as a few clutches and close rounds saw them win the second half, especially after reaching map point with 3 rounds in hand. NAF and Ultimate stood out as the top performers for Liquid as they progressed to the next round of the tournament.

Ninjas in Pyjamas Eliminate Cloud9 After Thrilling BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 Showdown

Ninjas in Pyjamas looked in sensational form today as they took down Cloud9 with a 2-1 win in a nail-biter of a series. This marks the end of Cloud9’s journey in the tournament. Here’s everything that went down during the best-of-three in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 CS2 event.

Map Veto

  • Cloud9 banned Vertigo
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas banned Dust2
  • Cloud9 picked Mirage
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas picked Ancient
  • Cloud9 banned Nuke
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas banned Inferno
  • Anubis was left over

Game 1: Mirage (Pick: Cloud9, Win: Cloud9, Final Score: 13-4)

Mirage was pretty much a one-sided domination from Cloud9. Despite getting an early 2-0 lead on the CT side after winning the pistol round, NiP failed to maintain their momentum as Cloud9 snatched 7 rounds back-to-back. NiP could grab a couple more rounds before the end of the first half as the scoreboard showed an 8-4 lead in favor of Cloud9.

The second half was a flawless display from Cloud9 as they managed to secure the remaining rounds that they needed without giving up a single round.

Despite being on the losing side, Artem “r1nkle” Moroz found himself at the top of the leaderboard with an impressive 102.4 ADR with a K/D of 17/11.

Game 2: Ancient (Pick: NiP, Win: NiP, Final Score: 13-11)

Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to regain their composure heading into their map pick and the second map of the series, Ancient. After a successful pistol-round win on the T-side, NiP managed to convert the follow-up anti-eco without much hassle. Two consecutive buy-round wins from C9 shattered NiP’s economy but failed to stop NiP’s momentum as they quickly bounced back and ended the first half with an 8-4 lead.

To call the second half of Ancient a nail-biter would be an understatement. NiP got the head start on the CT side once again by winning the first four rounds in a row as they found themselves on match point, but Cloud9 wasn’t willing to give up a map without a fight. Fueled by some remarkable individual performances, Cloud9 nearly staged a comeback, winning seven consecutive rounds before NiP managed to close the map with a 13-11 victory.

R1nkle dominated the leaderboard once again with a K/D of 19/10.

Game 3: Anubis (Win: Cloud9, Final Score: 13-11 )

Cloud9 began the final map of the series on a strong note, winning the pistol round and successfully converting the following anti-eco round. NiP responded by winning two consecutive buy rounds before taking the lead for themselves. The teams then traded rounds, resulting in a 6-6 tie at the end of the first half.

After winning the final pistol round of the series, Cloud9 struggled with the anti-eco round but managed to win it. They also won the following buy round before NiP mounted a comeback with a series of consecutive victories. Both teams were in top form throughout the second half of Anubis, with the scoreboard tied at 11-11. Ultimately, NiP edged out Cloud9 and clinched the series with a 13-11 victory.

Fredrik “REZ” Sterner was the star of the second game with a whopping 111.4 ADR and a K/A/D of 20/13/17.

G2 Reverse Sweeps FaZe Clan in Blast Premier Fall Groups

G2 Esports has made a comeback after losing their map pick of Ancient to win against FaZe Clan with a 2-1 scoreline. With this victory, G2 has progressed to the next round of play while FaZe will have to go through the lower bracket to progress further in the tournament.

VETO

  • G2 removed Vertigo
  • FaZe removed Dust2
  • G2 picked Ancient
  • FaZe picked Nuke
  • G2 removed Inferno
  • FaZe removed Anubis
  • Mirage was left over

Map 1: Ancient; Pick – G2; Winner – FaZe

FaZe and G2 started off the map with a brawl, trading rounds back and forth before rain stopped the show with a Deagle 4k. FaZe on the defense was a tough nut to crack for G2 as their slow approach did not crack it till FaZe reached a 7-2 lead. G2 found their footing reaching the end of the half and narrowed the lead down to 2 rounds.

Despite getting off to a good start, the G2 defense collapsed as we approached the 4th round of the second half. Despite cutting it close on several occasions, G2 was unable to push it over the line against FaZe. The tag for the best player on the server was between Ropz and Rain from FaZe while NiKo was the top fragger on the server and failed to provide the impact for his team to take the map.

Map 2: Nuke; Pick – FaZe; Winner – G2

After taking a tough beating on their man pick, G2 turned things around in Nuke. Having started the match with a perfect CT side, their defense laid the foundation for winning the map. FaZe only managed 3 rounds by the end of the half, thanks to a stellar CT side from Malbs and Co.

While FaZe started strong with 3 rounds in a row that wasn’t enough to put G2 off their game. A fast execution towards the ramp complemented by sweet deagle shots from Malbs saw them get back to winning ways upon which it was all G2 as they closed the map with a convincing scoreline of 13-6. m0nesy and Malbs stood out as the best players for G2 dropping a masterclass on both offense and defense.

Map 3: Mirage; Pick – Decider; Winner – G2

G2’s stellar form was carried over to Mirage as they put up a very dominant defense going 9-0 before FaZe Clan was able to get on the board. Their defense had an answer to a plethora of tactics that FaZe threw at them for 9 rounds before they lost one. The first half reflected the scoreline from Nuke as G2 once again walked away with a 9-3 half.

G2 extended the lead further by winning the pistol round and swiftly making it to match point upon which FaZe showed little resistance in winning 3 rounds in a row but G2 were only a single round away which they took home in dominant style, winning the map with 13-6 scoreline. G2’s dominance was powered by a classic NiKo masterclass on Mirage putting up 20 kills and a 1.55 IR.

All 99 Club Players in Madden 25

0

The elite tier of skill in Madden NFL 25 is being released by EA Sports, with the first batch of 99 Club members having been announced.

It is a very small club that is handpicked by game developers, these exceptional characters being the living proof of their invincible acts from the last sessions.

Madden 25 is set to be released on the 16th of August and has mainly been kept under covers so far. Yet, fans got a glimpse of FP, the new franchise mode, where new categories will be introduced and also, and players will be expected to rate themselves.

Every 99 Club Player in Madden 24

Madden 25 99 Club

The 99 Club Madden 25 will feature three players who by themselves are a star-studded ensemble. These will include Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins, Trent Williams of the San Francisco 49ers, and Christian McCaffrey, who is a 49er footballer just like the other mentioned players.

Despite Justin Jefferson’s amazing performance in Madden 24, the fact that he is not in the top fraternity is quite strange. The 98 overall grade of the Minnesota Vikings wideout, Justin Jefferson, still makes him a player whom teams can’t afford to ignore. All in all, the outstanding efforts of some tough defenders like Micah Parsons and Myles Garrett overcame the 99 grades by earning only 98 overall ratings; they show a level of domination.

With the prospects of the footballers Aaron Donald and Zack Martin being out of the game due to retirement and reduced performance, the reign has turned into history. The aforementioned two legends were unbeatable and the very epitome of the world of football. Their enrollment into the Pro Football Hall of Fame is inevitable.

The release of Madden 25 ratings has begun the thrill of excitement by the fans of the two players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that the inclusion of these two in the 99 Club would bring a lot of euphoria.

Remember that the 99 Club is not static. Game developer EA Sports is known to make in-game changes to player ratings in light of real-world game performances. As a result, the exclusive faction would be in constant flux throughout the season.

  • NaVi picked Mirage
  • BIG banned Inferno
  • NaVi banned Anubis

Game 1: Dust 2 (Pick: BIG, Win: NaVi, Final Score: 13-7)

NaVi started things off on the right foot with a comfortable pistol-round win on the CT side of Dust 2, enabling themselves to secure the follow-up anti-eco and a couple of more rounds before BIG could put up their first point on the board. The German org could snatch another round before NaVi retaliated, getting a comfortable lead and closing out the half with a score of 8-4.

A crucial pistol-round win allowed NaVi to initially widen their lead, but a force-buy from BIG shut them down. BIG only managed to secure two more rounds before NaVi regained control and closed out the game with a 13-7 victory.

Game 2: Mirage (Pick: NaVi, Win: NaVi, Final Score: 13-3)

They quickly wrapped up the game in the second half, winning the next three rounds and leaving no room for BIG to capitalize on mistakes. The second map ended decisively in favor of NaVi with a score of 13-3.

G2 Beats Ninjas in Pyjamas in Blast Premier Fall Groups

G2 has gotten back to their winning ways after taking down the freshly minted NiP roster. The same dominant form from Riyadh was on display once again despite NiP cutting it too close on multiple occasions.

VETO

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas removed Dust2
  • G2 removed Vertigo
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas picked Anubis
  • G2 picked Inferno
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas removed Nuke
  • G2 removed Mirage
  • Ancient was left over

Map 1: Anubis; Pick – NiP; Winner – G2

Despite winning the pistol round, G2 hit some good shots, stealing the second round from the freshly minted NiP team. This force-buy conversion helped them assemble a string of 5 rounds before NiP got back on the board. The first half ended with G2 putting up a commendable lead of 8 rounds to 4.

The situation wasn’t any better in the second as NiP struggled to win more than three rounds in a row, off the back of a force-buy conversion after losing the pistol. Once G2 got their guns out, NiP managed to come close to winning the rounds but G2 closed the game with a 13-7 scoreline. m0nesy stood out as the best player on the server, scoring 21 kills and 1.81 IR.

Map 2: Inferno; Pick – G2; Winner – G2

G2 started their map pick with a pistol round loss and needed two more to get back to winning ways. After winning the first round, G2 picked up 7 rounds straight, asserting their dominance over NiP who managed to get one more round before closing the half with an 8-4 scoreline favoring G2.

NiP once again picked up the pistol round and two more that followed which cut the lead to a single round before G2 managed to run away with the lead winning 3 in a row. NiP found themselves on the backfoot once again but this time evenly trading rounds led to the m0nesy and co. closing the map with a 13-11 scoreline.
