How to get Black Myth: Wukong DLC Items: A Step-by-Step Guide

0

Black Myth Wukong just went online and we are more excited to get our hands on it than ever! Ever since the beast of gameplay was demoed on the same day in 2020, the game has come a long way.

To claim the DLC items in Black Myth Wukong, you need to wait through the cutscene at the beginning post which you end up in a forest. This is where the players can gain control of the destined one once they reach the first checkpoint – the Forest Shrine.

Here you should be able to hold the appropriate key (E on PC / A on Xbox / X on Playstation) to then claim your items.

But wait, what do I get in the Black Myth Wukong DLC?

Firstly all the items we are about to mention should already be in your inventory, where once you claim the Trailblazer’s gift, you should see the following items unlocked:

  • Bronze Cloud Staff
  • Folk Opera Mask
  • Folk Opera Almsgiving Armor
  • Folk Opera Leather Braces
  • Folk Opera Buskins
  • Wind Chime Curio – Increases movement speed
  • Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd – Has one extra charge

The Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd is a pre-order exclusive bonus content, but don’t worry you can still get it even if you didn’t.

Do also note that the DLC’s Bronze Cloud staff does 10% more damage than the default Willow wood staff with an additional two percent critical damage chance and more defense & armor. If that isn’t pay to win, we don’t know what else is but the pre-order bonuses do make the early game a tad bit easier – especially when players are learning the game for the first time.

How to Go through the Sand Wall in Black Myth Wukong?

0

In the #1 game on Steam – Black Myth Wukong chapter two, there are one too many puzzles that are making the community perplexed on how to continue making progress within the game. One such obstacle is the sand wall, where you need to know how to move through the immovable sand.

Black Myth Wukong has various lore-based secrets well distributed throughout its large chunk of gameplay right from needing the “Keenness of Tiger” right to the hidden bells with an element that always keeps the players excited.

One of the game’s early puzzles starts right around chapter two where you reach the sand waterfall (if we can even call it that)

Here is how to go through the sand wall in Black Myth Wukong

Just remember that to proceed in the first place, you will have to go through the “First prince of flowing sands” boss which in turn is unlocked by going through the “Second Rat Prince & king of Flowing Sands” which will let you then access a breakable wall.

This breakable wall is well, quite the key to going through the sand wall as once you destroy it will reveal a chest that has an object called the “Loong Scales”.

The Loong scales is what lets you go through the sand wall, unlocking the optional Black Loong secret boss fight!

Black Myth Wukong: What to do after Beating Guangzhi (Hidden Secrets Revealed)

0

The latest title from Game Science, Black Myth: Wukong is one of the hottest topics in the gaming community right now. The slasher genre game has a lot of boss fights out of which one of the first boss fights is the Yaoguai chief – Guangzhi. You can find him in the Forest of Wolves but with a catch.

What is the catch? Well, Black Myth: Wukong doesn’t have a minimap or a compass so it’s often difficult for people to find out where to head after they’ve beaten the boss during their gameplays.

What do I get after beating Guangzhi in Black Myth: Wukong?

Beating Guangzhi in this game gives you the Red Tides spell, which when paired with his double-ended flaming staff allows you to take different forms. Players also claim to have won some odd amounts of spark, stone spirits, and even a lot of will! But the real question is, what to do after you beat Guangzhi? But wait, the way you came in is not the right direction, since he wasn’t blocking your way in the first place.

Where to go after beating Guangzhi in Black Myth Wukong

Soon after you leave the compound post beating Guangzhi, proceed to ring the bell. Although this may sound weird, it is one of the three bells in the game that unlock a secret boss fight in the later stage of the game. This is triggered by ringing two other bells, one of which is located in Guangmou and the third one is on a side path next to Whiteclad Noble.

Now, go back the same way you entered but with one difference, immediately start moving in the left direction till you meet a person with a really big head. This is another boss fight you will have to be ready for – the wandering wight.

A purely optional boss fight that can be skipped at this early on in the game, but it is often better to progress in the game by beating Guangmou post which you should be able to absorb the spirits that the Wandering wight drops when defeated.

So coming back from our headcanon, you can just ignore the big head person and move into the cave beyond where you should now be able to see a path opening upto Guanyin temple where you can find your next checkpoint – the Keeper’s shrine.

Well, that’s it for now, and if you want more such guides for Black Myth: Wukong, stay tuned to Talkesport!

CS2 Generates $610 Million in First Half of 2024: Reports

Nearly a year has passed since the official release of Counter-Strike 2 in September 2023, and while the game has seen its fair share of ups and downs, it has been well-received by the FPS gaming community, who view it as a significant improvement over its predecessors.

In a recent X thread, Simon Carless, founder of GameDiscoverCo, revealed the top 20 games on Steam by gross revenue. Not surprisingly, Counter-Strike 2 topped the charts, solidifying its status as the leading FPS title on Steam.

A quick glance at the chart shared by Carless reveals that CS2 generated a staggering $610 million in revenue during the first half of 2024, far surpassing its competitors. Helldivers 2 trailed behind at $458 million, while Palworld also managed to make it to the podium with $378 million in profits.

Notably, Dota 2, another major Valve title and one of the top MOBAs globally secured the #7 spot with $119 million in profits. This lower figure could be because the game makes a good chunk of its profit through Battle Pass sales, which typically come towards the end of the year.

Do note that the numbers on this list haven’t been officially revealed by Valve, but come from a third-party website.

How to Use Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth Wukong?

0

The desolate world of Black Myth: Wukong is strewn with an assortment of mismatched Buddha heads, all looking eerily across the wasted landscapes with their blank eyes. The players can go further and gather Buddha Eyeballs while sorting through the creepy picture; what they are for is a mystery. In this in-depth preview, we will unravel the mystery behind these odd pieces and uncover the hidden treasure they open.

Black Myth: Wukong may be a huge world filled with hostility and the bizarre, but it’s one thing to be walking around with an extra six massively sized eyeballs. But this optional task holds something pretty deep in its meaning: these six Buddha Eyeballs allow the player entrance to one secret hidden optional boss encounter.

How to Use Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth Wukong?

Buddha’s Eyeballs Black Myth Wukong

Players will find themselves grappling with what to do in the second chapter of the game with some mysterious eyeballs. Thankfully, the answer lies in a place that players may simply gloss over. The player will first need to go to the Stone Vanguard boss arena to unlock the secret boss, Shigandang.

  • Collect the Eyeballs: Collect all the six Buddha Eyeballs located in the second chapter.
  • Go to the Arena: Go to the boss area of the Stone Vanguard, located just near the “Rockrest Flat” Shrine.
  • Find the Rock: As you’d enter the arena, on your left, you’d notice a large stone, partially buried into the ground.
  • Boss Activation: The rock will present you with a “Deliver” option, given that you have all six eyeballs. Deliver it and commence a cutscene before finally spawning the secret boss, Shigandang.

The hidden boss battle with Shigandang was challenging but fulfilling. This big, Geodude-like monstrosity provides a challenge, but the rewards will be nice upon defeating it and will help increase the player’s progression within the game.

CS2 Map Developer Reveals Fresh New Look for Cache

Prominent Counter-Strike map developer FMPONE has shared some fresh insights on the new and updated version of the iconic map Cache ported to the Source 2 engine, and the CS2 community is hyped to see the revamped design and lots of notable improvements that the map seemingly has to offer.

Despite nearly a year having passed since its release, Counter-Strike 2 has yet to reintroduce many of the iconic maps from its predecessors, CS 1.6 and CS:GO. Fans have been vocal in their demands for the return of classics like Aztec and Tuscan, but one map stands out above the rest in popular demand: Cache.

Cache has been a part of CS:GO’s Active Duty map pool for a significant time since its initial release in 2012. While the map was removed and replaced by Vertigo towards the end of 2019, CS:GO players were still able to enjoy the map in Casual, Deathmatch, and Competitive matchmaking.

To call Cache a fan-favorite map within the Counter-Strike community would be an understatement. Cache’s map design offered a high skill ceiling, fostering intense gameplay and strategic team coordination. It also featured iconic boost spots, such as the Mid boost, A-site boost, and B-Vent counter-boost, encouraging teamwork and adding depth to competitive play.

FMPONE Reveals New Look For Cache in CS2

In a recent X post, the map developer behind Cache, FMPONE, shared some updated screenshots of the new version of the map in CS2. From the initial looks at it, the map looks absolutely stunning, showcasing a fresh and impressive visual overhaul.

While not much of the map has been revealed at the time of writing, the screenshots posted by FMPONE showcase the B-Checkers area alongside the Garage section.

An interesting addition to the Checkers area is that the wall separating it from Mid Sandbags has been replaced by glass panels. This means that players on the B-site should now be able to wall bang through it to Mid and vice versa, which was confirmed by the map dev himself.

Unfortunately, despite these updates coming to light, we still don’t have an exact date on the addition of the new Cache to CS2. However, the excitement within the CS2 community is palpable, and it may not be long before Valve decides to reintroduce the map to the pool once again.

Elon Musk’s Neuralink Brain Implant Used in Playing CS2

Elon Musk owned Neuralink has reported the successful surgery of its second patient, Alex, who has reportedly been using the implant to play the first-person shooter game Counter-Strike 2 along with testing all the benefits it brings to the table.

Neuralink shared a video on YouTube where we can clearly see Alex playing CS2 with the implant as he uses it to kill a bot approaching him. While his movement and aim are far from perfect this showcases a massive leap in the development of neurotechnology and implantable brain-computer interfaces.

“With the Link, he has been improving his ability to play video games and began learning how to use computer-aided design (CAD) software to design 3D objects,” said Neuralink.

“From the first moment Alex connected his Link to his computer, it took less than 5 minutes for him to start controlling a cursor with his mind. Within a few hours, he was able to surpass the maximum speed and accuracy he’d achieved with any other assistive technology on our Webgrid task.”

Arbaugh, the first person to undergo the surgery ran into some issues however Alex did not face any of them which goes to show that the technology is adapting well and improving. While gaming is not its primary application the fact that it can be used in this sector opens up doors to numerous possibilities.
