Twitch streamer rages after mom get his Steam account banned

0

On 1st November a Twitch streamer who goes by the handle Yeetyboiiiii was notified in the middle of his stream that his Steam account has been banned for 13 days. Further, he released that it was his mother who contacted them and reported his account for unauthorized use of her credit card to purchase games.

“CD key activation has been disabled. What the F*CK!!!” cursed the enraged streamer. He then calls his mother on the phone for his audience and the conversation goes like this. “You know that call and email you made to Steam? They disabled my account and banned me! That’s hundreds of games down the drain you owe me now!” His mother gently denied him saying “Oh, I definitely don’t owe you. You were using my card and it wasn’t acceptable!” Upon hanging up the phone he screamed “GOD! DUMB B*TCH!. Get the f*ck out of here!”.

Later down the stream, we see him taking questions from his chat, most of which are about his relationship with his mother, to which he said he still loves her and “She does everything for me.” He also explained that he is unaware of those purchases and it came from a different IP from their house.

The account as it seems has not been banned from everything, standard market features like cs key activation and trading are only harmed for 13 days.

S1mple confirms stay with Natus Vincere till late 2020

0

The 2018 worldโ€™s no 1 Counter-Strike player Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is expected to stay with Natus Vincere until December of next year according to DBLTAP. The timing of this arrangement have not been disclosed yet, and neither the player or the organization went public about it.

Back in 2017, NaVi signed S1mple along with flamie, since then their roster went through some significant changes. The Russian organization saw Edward getting loaned out with Zeus hanging his mouse up.

They signed back GuardiaN and Boombl4 to complement the roster with Boombl4 to take up the IGL role. Getting GuradiaN on the AWP meant s1mple will have less time on the weapon, which saw him transit back to an assault player, only to play the big green as a secondary to the Slovak.

Since such changes in the rosters, Naโ€™Vi went up to semifinals of DreamHack Masters Malmรถ and had a clean qualifier group for ESL Pro League Season 10. This change also recorded their worst tournament where they made a group stage exit from i-League Season 8.

NiP defeat Astralis; Liquid take down Cloud9 at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen

NiP beat Astralis on Overpass, 16-7, to go 2-0 in their first two matches, while liquid defeated cloud9 on Inferno 16-4, in their BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen Opener.

Ninjas in Pyjamas, won the first 12 rounds of the game on Overpass. However, Astralis got their first win on 13th round, thanks to Lukas โ€œgla1veโ€ Rossander, who won a crucial one-vs-two clutch against Jonas โ€œLekr0โ€ Olofsson and Simon โ€œtwistโ€ Eliasson.

For a moment, NiP probably felt like they are about to lose the game. But the Ninjas had such a huge lead to work with that Astralisโ€™ efforts were in vain.

Liquid gave an immaculate performance on the Counter-Terrorist side. They ran all over the Cloud9 aggression to race to a 13-2 lead.

In the second half, Liquid won their T-side pistol with ace from Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken, and the subsequent anti-eco. However, Cloud9 reacted in second half by winning 2 rounds, but that was not enough to stop Liquid, who won anti-eco round to seal the deal, 16-4.

NiP will face FaZe today at 18:30 IST. Whereas, Astralis will try to step up today against Team Liquid at 18:30 IST.

You can now see how much money you’ve spent on CSGO skins

At times we have always wondered how much money we would have saved if we had not spent all that pocket money on buying CSGO skins. Well, now there is a way to find out exactly that.

It all started with a reddit thread where a user was contemplating his enormous spending on skins, which promoted others to share their side as well, with one user claiming to have spent over $137,000 (Rs 97,25,150). There are many ways to actually get skins in the game:

  • Drop from matches
  • Opening cases
  • Trading with a friend
  • Buying skins from the market or a 3rd party website.

The one caveat to the spending that they show does not include the profits or the money made by selling any skin. This means that if one was to buy and sell the same skin again and again, they actually have not spent any money but steam will show a recurring purchase for that skin. Another factor not considered is the money spent/earned on trading, either through a 3rd party website or with friends..

However, if you are just curious and brave enough to see how much you spent in total, you can click on badges near your name on the Steam app and website and click on “How do I earn card drops?” which will show your spending.

Ubisoft reports a sharp decline in operating income amid delays and poor sales

0

Last week, Ubisoft announced delays to its 3 upcoming AAA games Gods and Monster, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Watch_Dogs Legion into its fiscal year 2020-21. All of these games were slated to release this year only, but due to poor response on The Division 2 and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint the management decided to delay the other games and improve them further.

In a statement, Yves Guillemot, CEO at Ubisoft said that the delays were announced to give more time to developers to polish the experience and perfect implementation of innovation for players.

Today, Ubisoft reported their first half 2019-2020 earnings in which the operating income of the company declined by more than 90% compared to last year.

The company didnโ€™t mention any thing about The Division 2 in the report, but were vocal about the failure of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint being explanation for โ€œoperating income impairmentโ€. This report further went into predicting an empty Q3 and Q4 as there are no major release scheduled for those months.

The reports of the current fiscal arenโ€™t good by any standard for company such as Ubisoft which is traded publicly on stock market. This will make investors cautioned about the company and may result in drop of share prices.

Although this doesnโ€™t mean that the company is doomed and may close down, but rather it means that the next major releases should perform exponentially well and meet all market expectations or the company may have hard times next year.

Further in the report CEO Yves Guillemot said:

Ubisoft’s prospects are particularly promising. Our numerous growth vectors going forward include the arrival of the next generation of consoles, the opening up of the Asian market and our partnership with Tencent for launching our franchises on mobile. All of these are strong value creation drivers for the medium term.

Next year will be hard for the company and its teams any failure might have big repercussions for both the parties.
