How to get Medic Medal in COD Mobile?

0

Activision has inculcated a unique medal system in Call of Duty Mobile where players can earn various medals for their achievements. These can be showcased on the main profile or could be used to complete various tasks. A recently featured event in COD Mobile requires players to earn Medic Medal and here is how you can do it.

The medal system in COD Mobile is a special way to identify or characterize a player’s in-game playstyle. Most of these awards are distributed after completing a certain task only.

The developers keep adding various events in COD Mobile and assign certain tasks to it. Players can complete them to earn various rewards ranging from small goodies to permanent camos and equipment. Some of these tasks need players to earn that specific medal.

If you are looking to earn Medic Medal in COD Mobile, you need to play BR matches and keep healing. The medal is awarded to players who recover a total of 200 HP in a single match.

Drop into any BR map and play the match normally but keep in mind that you will have to use health packages at least twice to pass the 200 HP mark. After that, finish your match and the medal will be directly awarded.

Dynamo Gaming’s BGMI account banned in Russia

Dynamo Gaming, one of the biggest gaming content creators has faced a ban in Battlegrounds Mobile India for trying to log into the game in a different country. Dynamo went on a vacation in Russia and tried to access BGMI from his hotel Wi-Fi connection but due to a regional change, his account was banned.

Dynamo is a massive PUBG Mobile content creator who shifted to other games during the ban and has now started practicing and streaming Battlegrounds Mobile India. He recently revealed that his account has been banned when he was on a vacation abroad.

He went on a long vacation in Russia and apparently forgot that the game is Battlegrounds Mobile India and not PUBG Mobile. He tried to open the game on the local network in Russia but it did not open. The loading screen kept popping up for a long time and after that, he received a notification that declared that his account has been banned.

This ban is imposed because of the regional change and Dynamo assured his fans that he is working with the officials to get the account back. He stated that his account may return back within a day but the account has not been unbanned yet.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is a new game developed by Krafton for the Indian region only. This game is quite similar to the other localized versions of PUBG Mobile where players from other regions cannot access the game.

Dynamo tried to access the game from an entirely different country and hence received the ban. His account may return back very soon but this action clarifies that overseas players cannot play BGMI unless and until it is accessed from India.

Team Envy sign yay

0

Jaccob “Yay” Whiteaker has been acquired by Team Envy from AndBox, the former organization announced today on Twitter. He will debut with Envy at the upcoming VCT Stage 3: Challengers playoffs event.

Having joined AndBox in September 2020, yay contributed a huge impact to the team’s success with his Duelist role, where he played Jett as his main agent. Under the 22-year-old North American, AndBox picked championships at the NSG Organized events including the Renegades invitational. In addition to it, with Jaccob on board, AndBox had a promising run at the VCT Stage 2 where they qualified for the Challengers Finals but were denied a spot further by Version1.

Lately, AndBox were rumored to shuffle their roster post their exit from the Open Qualifier of VCT: Stage 3 Challengers 2 and were spotted practicing without yay on the squad. Also, they parted ways with Sebastian “seb” Bucki in a bid to restructure their Valorant division.

It was later revealed by Team Envy that they have acquired yay from AndBox who would replace Anthony “mummAy” DiPaolo on the active squad who was benched by the Dallas-based Organization. Envy have also signed Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen on loan from FaZe Clan and might need to chalk their plans out going forward towards the Berlin score.

With Envy already qualified for the Challengers Playoffs event, they might have seemed to have added extra firepower to their team ahead of their clash against TSM FTX in the former event’s opener. The Challengers Playoffs event is scheduled to start from August 11.

With the addition of Jaccob “Yay” Whiteaker, Team Envy are now:

  • Pujan “FNS” Mehta
  • Victor “Victor” Wong
  • Austin “crashies” Roberts
  • Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker
  • Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen (On Loan from FaZe Clan)
  • Anthony “mummAy” DiPaolo (Reserve)

How to leave a clan in Call of Duty Mobile?

0

Call of Duty: Mobile is the famous multiplayer game developed by Activision to enter the mobile gaming market. This game represents the entirety of the COD franchise on mobile and has tons of features you might come across in other Call of Duty titles. One of the most common attributes of multiplayer games is the formation of a clan and let’s take a look at how you can leave a clan in Call of Duty Mobile.

Clans are basically groups formed in any game where players can work together towards a common goal or play under the same banner. The clan system is found in almost every multiplayer game and COD Mobile has incorporated this system as well.

Players can easily join or leave clans in Call of Duty Mobile if they meet the requirements issued by the clan leaders. It is quite simple to join a clan as one might hover in the ‘Clan’ tab and click on join but some might get confused on how to leave it.

If you want to leave your current clan, follow these simple steps to do so:

  • Open Call of Duty Mobile and login with your account.
  • Click on the ‘Clan’ tab present on the main screen. It will be in the central position on the bottom half of your screen.
  • Go to the ‘Members’ tab and search for your name.
  • Click on the ‘Exit’ button present against your name and confirm your actions by clicking on ‘OK’.

After completing this process, you will quit your current clan. Remember that players cannot join another clan for the next 24 hours so you will have to wait patiently till you complete the cooldown period before joining another clan.

Controversial Valorant Mobile Named ‘Project M’ Announced by NetEase

NetEase has recently unveiled their newest title ‘Project M’, and it looks quite concerningly similar to Riot Games’ tactical shooter Valorant. This alarming similarity has garnered the attention of the internet in moments of its initial announcement, and many fans have expressed their resentment towards NetEase by accusing them of “ripping off” Valorant.

Valorant has undoubtedly been one of the biggest hits in the world of competitive shooters over the past year. Originally released in June 2020, the title managed to win the hearts of millions of fans worldwide due to its unique and interesting game mechanics.

What separated Valorant from most other shooters is the fact that agents in Valorant could use various ‘abilities’ to give them an edge in combat. However, it seems like NetEase has adopted the same concept by introducing ‘Project M’ to mobile devices.

NetEase is a Chinese internet and video game company that is also a rival of Riot Games’ parent company Tencent. From the initial looks at the trailer of ‘Project M’, it’s evident that it is heavily inspired by Valorant. Interestingly enough, Valorant was named ‘Project A’ at the time of its development.

Not only are the weapons shown in the trailer extremely similar to those of Valorant, the abilities that were showcased also have many similarities with the agents’ kits in Valorant.

While Riot hasn’t specified any date of the release of the mobile version of Valorant as of yet, NetEase might be looking to seize this opportunity by releasing their title before the much-anticipated release of Valorant mobile.

Activision announces a new COD title for mobile platform

Activision has officially announced a new COD title under development by their new internal studio. This announcement was made during the second-quarter earnings call of Activision Blizzard.

Activision ventured into the mobile gaming market in 2019 by developing a game called Call of Duty: Mobile. This was their first-ever title and it has grown exponentially in the past couple of years. COD Mobile represents the entire COD franchise on mobile devices and this new title will be its successor.

The developers have not revealed any details regarding this new game but it is said to be an AAA game. It will be developed by the new internal mobile studio created under Activision. This game could be the COD Warzone as speculated several times in the past.

The Call of Duty franchise is expanding more into the mobile gaming market and with a new AAA title, the developers are trying to redefine the limits of gaming on a mobile device.

The new studio announced by Activision has posted a job opening for Producer – Mobile and the description of this posting reveals that the new title will be under the COD franchise and will fall under the ‘AAA’ genre.

The current announcement does not cover any specifics regarding this new title but it might be under development right now and more details could be revealed in the next quarterly call.

Project M accused of copying Valorant

0

Mobile iterations of PC Games have found success of the highest order, with PUBG PC and COD Mobile being the frontrunners to set precedents. Valorant’s debut year saw the game garner millions of active players and fans are left longing for a mobile version that was teased months ago.

Project M is a brand new mobile game that has been accused of copying Valorant for its uncanny resemblance with Riot’s FPS. Not to mention the name “Project M” is the most obvious hint given how Valorant was initially named as “Project A” before it was coined the name “Valorant”.

Valorant has come across immense success but having the game in the PC landscape has kept it away from the untapped potential that comes with PC games getting ported for iOS and Android. The appeal for a mobile version of Valorant was addressed by Riot confirming that it was in the making.

Project M has been widely accused by the community of ripping off Valorant’s popularity by putting together a game for mobile the resembles Valorant in most aspects.

Several elements in the trailer were dubbed as a borderline copy from Riot’s tactical shooter.  “They didn’t even try to change it. They just straight up rip off Valorant. Same ability, same gun concept, same kill VFX”. said Karlsson Chee.

The community is expecting another lawsuit from Riot unless the developers decide to make changes at the time of its beta launch. Riot does not shy away from a lawsuit which puts the developers of Project M in a really challenging situation.
