Global Esports face off against EsportsXO at VCC will determine the new champion

To the delight of Valorant fans across South Asia, Team XO will face Global Esports in the grand finals of Valorant Conquerors Championship India Qualifier 2. This comes after Team XO secured a brilliant 2-0 victory over Enigma Gaming in the semi finals.

The road for Team XO to the grand finals of Qualifier 2 wasn’t easy, though. Their rivals, Enigma Gaming, had previously defeated Team Novas in the quarter finals with a scoreline of 2-1. However, after two games of intense Valorant action, Team XO was the one to come out on top.

The first game that took place in Icebox saw Enigma Gaming taking a significant lead over Team XO by taking eight rounds in the first half itself. However, the latter bounced back hard in the second half and left no room for mistakes to secure the game 13-10.

The second game took place in Haven, and it was even more intense than the first one. Once again, Enigma Gaming placed seven rounds on the board in the first half and took a small lead. Team XO had to pull off a comeback once again in the second half to force an overtime, finally securing game 2 with a 14-12 scoreline.

Enigma Gaming will still have a chance to qualify for the Wildcard qualifiers since they managed to secure a third-place finish in Qualifier 1.

Team XO will take on Global Esports tomorrow at 7 pm IST where the victor will head to the Valorant Conquerors Championship Main Event. Fans will be able to catch the action live on NODWIN Gaming’s YouTube channel.

EURO 2020 boosted eFootball commercial tournaments

0

The world of esports is expanding dramatically. More people join streaming platforms to both watch and show the world their esports battles. According to Newzoo, experts expect the global games’ live-streaming audience to reach 728.8 million this 2021, signifying a 10% growth compared to 2020.

And the betting industry couldn’t just ignore that snowballing trend. Sportsbooks have added esports betting to their offers, so fans of PC and console games won an opportunity to make money on the content they’re keen on. Moreover, esports betting has become a ‘plan B’ for traditional sports enthusiasts and bettors during COVID-19 lockdowns and postponed sports events.

EURO 2020

The fact is, eFootball is one of the most popular sports video games today. Betting operators have increased the number of esports events on their websites. For instance, the number of ESportsBattle eFootball matches streamed by one of the leading betting operators has increased x3 from December 2020 to June 2021.

But does all of that mean that if sports events come back, esports betting will slow down?

Someone might think that yes, it will. However, it is not that obvious. The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship caused a boost in betting on eFootball events.

According to Statista, during May 2021, 26% would rather be on a gambling website to check odds, bet, or cash out while watching EURO 2020. The number of people placing bets on ESportsBattle’s eFootball events before the EURO 2020 matches were the highest in 2021.

ESportsBattle analysts had witnessed a boom in views and odds placing on eFootball matches between 6 AM to 12 PM UTС. So right before watching UEFA’s EURO 2020, viewers were placing bets on ESportsBattle’s events. The key reason: eFootball betting gives bettors a chance to feel more involved in the whole process, just like they participate in the real championship every day.

The main difference between football and eFootball is that football has seasons. In contrast, eFootball is quite the opposite, it is 24/7 tournaments, constantly updated match formats, favorite players, and gripping competitions featuring well-matched teams.

Of course, during EURO 2020, the interest in eFootball has increased, which shows the correlation between major sporting events and esports tournaments. Traditional sports will always drive the esports industry.

The sports industry is one of the entertaining and recreational types of content that can still draw the attention of millions of viewers concurrently. And indeed, the esports industry appears to be entering an exciting period of its development. But still, traditional sports accumulate more views boosting esports as well.

However, it’s just a matter of time.

Biggest Esports Titles in Online Casinos & Betting Today

With the rise of esports, competitive games are permeating the mainstream media, now more than ever. This is one of the reasons that we are seeing an increase in the player base for many multiplayer titles. Although this often causes concerns among the parents of teens, it should be mentioned that professional gamers can earn a lot. Meaning, this is a viable career path and parents should figure out how to help their kids channel this ambition.

Video games have also become popular among gamblers and bettors, especially during the lockdown. As these events and competitions were not as affected as some of the other popular sports, most of the casino players turned to online betting on esports events.  To that end, we will go over some of the most popular eSports games that you can bet on in an online casino.

MOBA Games

Multiplayer online battle arenas or MOBA games are one of the most popular genres in the esports world. In fact, it’s the popularity of this game genre that allowed eSports to become as huge as it is today. As far as the tournaments go, the biggest names in this category are without a doubt DOTA 2 and League of Legends. Both titles have a massive player base, and incredibly exciting eSports matches. Furthermore, the prize pools tend to be quite generous.

Given the attention, these two games get it’s no wonder they rank at the very top in the sports betting world. Casino games are designed with a different philosophy in mind, but often their theme pays homage to the popular video games. So if you ever find yourself enjoying table or slot games at Netherlands online casinos, make sure to check if they have eSports betting options as well. In case they do, you will definitely find betting options for DOTA 2 or LOL matches. This is a good opportunity to change things a bit and wager on one of the teams. You might discover you also have a passion for MOBA genres.

Sports Games

The best way to get bettors interested in eSports is by allowing them to bet on the games that are similar to the ones they already watch. For that reason, FIFA, NBA, NHL, and NFL are extremely popular among the bettors. This also makes them some of the biggest games in online casinos. After all, there are lots of slots that are themed after these sports as well.  If you were to go on onlinecasinosbe.com and play at one of the gambling sites there you will surely find slots that have sports themes. This just goes to show how these correlations can be important for business and satisfying player experience.

Battle Royal

Battle royale games are all about staying alive for as long as possible, and if you are the last man standing you win. This is why games like Fortnite and PUBG are extremely popular and competitive in the eSports betting world. Just like in the world of business you stay alive and relevant by eliminating the competition, and you do that by having more users or customers.

This is why casinos are looking to eSports as it offers potential for them to expand their player base.

Offering betting options for video game tournaments gives them a chance to attract more people that will ultimately check out the entertainment available in an online gambling parlour. It is why online casino Denmark platforms also offer betting options that include eSports. Chances are that while someone is waiting for the match to be over that they will play some of the casino games that don’t require full focus. Moreover, people who love eSports love competitive gaming, and they can find that in poker. Poker is also played online against other players and someone who loves competitive opponents is likely to give poker a try.

Conclusion

To sum up, the popular eSports games in online casinos are Dota 2, League of Legends, Fifa, and Fortnite. The reason players find them appealing is that they make for a great competition and because some of them are designed after popular sports.

New COD Warzone patch nerfs Krig 6, buffs CX-9

0

Heading into Call of DUty Warzone Season 5, the game has gone through changes aimed at balancing the firearms. The nerfed Krig 6 and the buffed CX-9 will look to bring down the gap that lies between weapons.

Being a week away from Season 5, the game has addressed the Krig 6 meta that was growing among the players for quite some time and it wasn’t until today that the gun sees a major nerf. The last 7 days of Season 4 come with buffed CX-9 after the new SMG fell out of flavour. The developers hope that the minor improvements will be enough for players to find a reason to use it.

Despite certain changes across the game in general, what the community has been longing for is an upgraded anti-cheat that will keep the hackers at bay given how at this point every prominent streamer has spoken about their experience coming across cheaters in Warzone.

How to fix Back 4 Blood beta “failed to create matchmaking session” error

0

The highly anticipated Back 4 Blood beta is here but players have reported the “failed to create matchmaking session” error that is keeping them away from the game.

Players have hopped onto the Back 4 Blood beta after punching in their access keys but their expectations from the game are yet to be answered given how the game is failing to create a matchmaking session despite proper connectivity.

As annoying as the error is, here comes a simple fix that will remedy the issue as long as it persists from the developer’s end. It was found that the issue arose from the conflicting versions of the game if the specific steam account had already owned previous iterations of the pre-release build.

The error was limited to the PC version distributed via Steam which helped narrow down the solution.

  1. Head over to your Steam Game Library.
  2. Look for Back 4 Blood.
  3. Having played older versions of the game, your library will likely own two differt version with the names “Back 4 Blood and Back 4 Blood “Sneak Peek””
  4. Back 4 Blood “Sneak Peek” is the way to go.

“Back 4 Blood” is an older alpha that was never removed which conflicted with the latest version of the beta. Removing the older version clears the path for the latest beta to connect with the game servers and create a matchmaking session.
