Valorant: When Does SEN Shroud Play?

0

On June 8th, 2022, Sentinels sent shockwaves across the Valorant World after announcing their new fifth, Shroud, as part of their Valorant roster. Shroud’s signing meant he would return to the competitive scene and compete with the roster at VCT NA LCQ.

If you don’t know who Shroud is, you are certainly not an FPS fan or have been living under a rock for the entirety of your life. Still, let me enlighten you: Michael Grzesiek, better known as Shroud, is one of the world’s best gamers ever to live.

Playing CSGO professionally, Shroud was the heart of NA and their top competitors, almost at the top of NA CSGO for the entirety of his career. Retired in 2019, Shroud started streaming and has amassed a loyal fanbase to become Twitch’s top streamer.

While he had mentioned he would not return to CS:GO professionally, with the new game Valorant, Shroud had expressed his wishes to play competitively, and with Sick unable to play VCT NA LCQ, Shroud decided to nominate himself and managed to land the position.

Now, after three long years, we would once again see Shroud playing competitively with Sentinels alongside Shazam, Dapr, Tenz, and Zellsis. The team started boot camping days ago and is preparing hard for the VCT NA LCQ.

To prepare for the LCQ, Sentinels has hired Dani as their Assistant Analyst and Weltis as the analyst for the Valorant roster. Along with Rawkus, Sentinels now have a strong support staff, which they lacked previously.

The new look Sentinel, along with Shroud, is all set to make their competitive Valorant debut on August 4th at 01:00 PM PT against The Guard as the first match of the VCT NA LCQ.

The inaugural VCT NA LCQ match-up would not just be a test for Shroud but also a revenge match for Sentinels as The Guard were the team that eliminated them from Stage 1 VCT NA Challengers. The teams will try to make a deep run and want to win the whole thing to qualify for the Valorant Champions.

Riot announces Run it back 3 Valorant bundle

0

Skins in Valorant are the prime feature, with the skins having additional VFS and SFX. The valorant skins help elevate the players’ gaming experience, and the skins aren’t just plain cosmetics making them worth the buck.

Amongst other things, Skins are also a controversial topic to touch as many skins supposedly impact your gameplay and might make you better at the game. But there is no such concrete evidence for the same.

Anyways skins in Valorant hit differently, and it is always fun to play with skins rather than not. In Valorant, you can only purchase these skins through the night market, with Riot releasing new bundles either once or twice a month.

The other way is hoping you’d get the skin you have missed in the Night market, which is an RNG, or wait for the skin to pop in the Shop after a while, which might take some time or a lot of it. As an urban myth, the stronger your desire for the skin, the later it drops.

Along with that, the only other way you can get skins you missed is the Run it Back bundle Riot introduces every six or so months, which includes the most popular skins of the year and gives you another chance to buy them.

The Run it Back three bundle would consist of Magepunk Operator, A gravitational uranium neuroblaster classic, Ion Phantom, Radiant Crisis 001 Bunky, and an Ego Stinger. The price of each skin is 1775 VP, but the bundle would cost 20% less, that is 5945 VP.

The bundle price would vary if the player already owns one of the skins from the bundle. With the 20% off applied on the total amount after reducing the cost of the skin you possess.

All the skins are favorites and are in much demand from the community. The bundle is set to go live on July 27th, after the current bundle is taken off the market, and will stay until August 10th. Make sure to head to the market and buy the skins when available.

Female Valorant Team Accused of Boyfriend Stand-In During Galorants Tournament

0

An all-female Valorant team has been accused of breaching the rules and sharing accounts in the recent Galorants Astral Clash event.

The team in question, Team Fallacy, has been accused of account sharing and using one of the player’s boyfriends as a stand-in during the event.

The accusations were posted in an online document, which provides multiple points in support of the claims. According to the document, Team Fallacy member Mars had her boyfriend, ex-TSM FTX player ‘Payen’, playing on her account during the event.

The Galorants Astral Clash event was essentially the Last Chance Qualifier for the Astral Clash LAN tournament in California, and the winning team would get a fully paid trip.

The document goes over several pieces of evidence ranging from Mars’ keybinds during the game, her in-game FPS, minimap size, and a number of other aspects to support the claim that her boyfriend was playing on her account instead.

“The concerns are brought up specifically because this qualifier was the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) for a spot at the Astral Clash LAN tournament in California, which would’ve been a fully paid trip for Gen.G,” the document reads.

The google doc further explained that Payne was seen queuing with the rest of the Team Fallacy roster instead of Mars in ranked a day before the event, and speculated that the reason for this is that “they wouldn’t be playing with her in the tournament.”

Whether or not Riot Games investigates further into this and if Team Fallacy gets disqualified still remains to be seen.

GTA 6 Will Have a Playable Female Character

0

It has been said that the primary plot of Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature a female playable character for the very first time. This would mark a significant milestone for the series.

It appears that Rockstar’s plan is to launch the game with only one city initially, but over time and with subsequent updates, they will add additional settings to the game.

GTA 6 Female Character

According to a report by Bloomberg about Rockstar, individuals with intimate ties to the company have discussed the upcoming new female character, who will be of Latina heritage. The figure is said to represent a bank robber who is a part of a story that was inspired by the real-life crooks Bonnie and Clyde.

Prior to this update, female protagonists could only be created as custom characters for use in GTA Online; the game’s single-player campaigns did not include female protagonists as a playable option. Rockstar’s Dan Houser, who was a co-founder but has since left the company, indicated in the past that the company had been exploring having a female protagonist as far back as 2013 and that this consideration had been going on for quite some time.

The game was given the moniker “Project Americas” because its creators had the initial intention of including huge North and South American areas in it. However, this goal had to be scrapped in order to reduce the strain on the available workforce.

The source also indicates that the initial edition of Grand Theft Auto 6 will begin with a fictionalized Miami and adjacent locations (likely a comeback for Vice City), but it will be upgraded with “new missions and cities on a regular basis.” In other words, Grand Theft Auto 6 will have a continuous release schedule. It would seem that this launch version already features more interior locales than any previous Grand Theft Auto game did at this point.

The developers are uncertain whether the game will launch between April 2023 and March 2024 because there have been multiple team changes and manufacturing restrictions. Because there has been so little work done on the game in recent times, there are even rumors that some of the developers have departed their posts. The development team estimates that the game will not be available for at least two years, and there has been no announcement on a specific release date.

As a direct consequence of this, numerous adjustments have been made at Rockstar over the course of the past few years in order to improve working conditions and develop a culture of inclusion within the workplace. This involves removing abusers from management positions, transforming part-time contractors into full-time employees, and transforming part-time employees into full-time contractors.

In addition, the narrative components of the report provide the impression that the business has adopted a more forward-thinking mentality. According to Bloomberg, the television show “Cops ‘n’ Crooks” was canceled after the killing of George Floyd by police officers in 2020 and has not been discussed since then.

This year saw the long-awaited confirmation of Grand Theft Auto 6, but more official info will only be released when Rockstar deems it appropriate to do so, not when Take-Two requests it. After deciding not to remaster Red Dead Redemption or Grand Theft Auto 4, Rockstar is said to have reassigned more developers to work on GTA 6.

Pokimane Sentinel: Valorant fans confused by Sentinels roster update

The Sentinels’ announcement that Michael “shroud” Grzesiek was joining the team first sparked speculation that the North American team was joking. Sentinels have decided to make light of the issue by making a series of roster changes that aren’t quite what you’d expect.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive veteran shroud is well-known for his prowess in the game. When he plays an FPS on stream, it’s just another opportunity for him to show off his incredible mechanical skills.

However, Shroud earlier stated that he would not play with the Valorant pros since he felt knackered compared to the younger players who practice for 10 hours a day. When Sentinels announced the addition of the popular streamer to its professional Valorant lineup, fans believed the organization was just trolling.

Pokimane Valorant Sentinel Roster:

Sentinels were required to post a video to establish that the rumors about shroud’s comeback to esports and participation in professional Valorant were true. On July 15, the Sentinels decided to make fun of the streamer-turned-pro joke that had gotten them so much publicity and to propose that player Imane “Pokimane” Anys might join the squad.

A parody tweet from the squad indicated that Pokimane was not going to join the Sentinels as a Valorant analyst after all. Sentinels joked about Pokimane working as an analyst for a professional Valorant team, indeed.

Even still, the Valorant community weighed in on the roster change with relief. Both Pokimane and the team’s critics were joking about her being the top analyst in North America. One supporter claimed that Sentinels “dodged a bullet.”

The gaming community has long questioned Pokimane’s abilities at Valorant. Gamers claim that Pokimane was “boosted” despite her Immortal level. Pokimane admitted that the sexism she encountered during her team’s ascent to Immortal made the journey even tougher.

Since the release of Valorant, sexism in the game has been a source of debate among players and critics alike. Toxic behavior against women has been exhibited by both popular streamers and casual gamers. Sentinels’ joke about Pokimane’s inability to play Riot’s tactical shooter annoyed some, while others viewed it as harmless fun.

Mirage becomes the popular CSGO map in 2022

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s Mirage is one of the most popular locations in the game, according to matchmaking statistics.

Consistent players always appreciate CS:GO’s vast selection of maps with diverse settings. Because players have such strong opinions about the available maps, Valve only makes minor adjustments to the Multiplayer Map selection very infrequently.

The most recent content update, Ancient, was met with a variety of opinions from players, although they have since adjusted. Despite the several map exchanges, there is still one that has not been transferred.

Mirage CSGO

According to recently compiled statistics, players in CS:GO MM continue to queue for Mirage, making it one of the most popular maps in 2022 by a significant margin.
With 29.6 percent of players choosing to play Mirage in Multiplayer Matchmaking in 2022, it is the most popular CS:GO map.

You can look at the numbers that Leetify recently released to shed light on the popularity of CS:GO maps here.

These numbers were introduced not too long ago. Statistics show that Mirage, Inferno, and Dust 2 continue to be among the most popular choices for players years after their initial release. The following is a breakdown of how the other maps in the competitive pool currently stand.

It’s clear from this list that some CSGO locales will never be replaced, and that’s what makes them special to gamers. Both Dust 2 and Inferno, two of the oldest maps in Valve’s shooter, still have renowned layouts that are functional in the year 2022.

Players in official match-making discover creative methods to spice up the shabby maps with fresh approaches. There’s a huge gap between the top three places, with Nuke coming in fourth with 8.1% of players showing interest.
Despite the difficulty of mastering Overpass and Cache in 2022, they aren’t as popular as they used to be. Due to the fact that the Overpass map has a two-level design that is optimal for more experienced players, it is one of the less used maps in MM.

Additionally, professional players consider Vertigo to be their home turf, especially considering the fact that it is played significantly less in MM. About 4.9% of the players believed it was profound enough to run in slightly elevated games at a breakneck pace.

Neyoo accused Team Soul and Global Esports of teaming up against Godlike in BGMI Showdown Lan

Suraj Mujumdar aka Neyoo has accused Team Soul and Global Esports of teaming up against them in the recently finished BGMI Showdown Lan event. In one of his live streams, he said some players were planning on coordinating their drop positions and coming up with strategies in the washroom before the second match began.

FIFA 23: Release date, Latest news, pricing, features, and more

0

With the FIFA World Cup starting in November 2022, many fans are expecting the release of the latest FIFA 2023 in order to get the most of the tournament by complementing the excitement of real games with an almost real experience of playing provided by the best technology available in videogames.

FIFA 2023 is expected to be out on 30th September 2022, which means that fans get a little more than a month to enjoy the game until the FIFA World Cup starts to complete the experience.

Furthermore, the release of FIFA 23 is not only special because it is quite close to the most important football competition in the world, but it is also unique because this will be the last FIFA game of the series.

FIFA 23: the end of an era

After 30 years of producing and releasing football-themed videogames under the name of the FIFA series, the American video game company Electronic Arts (EA) is ending its relationship with FIFA. As a consequence, FIFA 23 is the last football video game of the FIFA Series, marking an end to a whole culture in football video games.

The next releases from the Electronic Arts (EA) studios will be named EA Sports FC, while it is expected that FIFA will enter into a new partnership with a different video game developer in order to create the real FIFA video game.

The details on the FIFA series were crafted by fragster.com. To learn more about the new features and how they work, head over to the folks at Fragster for more details.

FIFA 23 new features

Aside from what we already mentioned, FIFA 23 is also special because it has some new features that are also marking a change in the football video games culture.

Aside from the regular FIFA World Cup, the new FIFA 23 will allow players to play the Women’s World Cup. Also, women’s club teams will be available for the first time. This is a massive change toward women’s equality in sports. Thus, FIFA 23 will probably stay on the record for coming up with a game that engages gender equality.

Another relevant change is that FIFA 23 will allow crossplay in one versus one game. This means that players using different systems will be able to share a game.

Regarding technological upgrades introduced in FIFA 23, the game will include HyperMotion 2 which will create even more realistic players and contexts.

A new feature on FIFA 2023 is Power Shots, which allows players to use all their power to release epic strikes. Even though you will have to work on accuracy when using Power Shots, if you get it right you will be able to create the most amazing goals.

How to get FIFA 2023?

With fans already showing signs of anxiety, after the release date was confirmed, pre-orders became available.

Sites like Amazon or GAME allow customers to get pre-orders on the game. When placing the pre-order you will be able to choose the Standard Edition or the Ultimate Edition of the game. If you pick the Ultimate Edition, you will get early access to the game on 27 September.

If you can’t wait for that much, you still have another chance to access the game earlier through the Closed Data that the company usually releases before the actual release of the game in order to get feedback from users and make the latest adjustments, if needed.

Even though there is still no official information about when the beta version will be released, it is expected to happen sometime in August.

How much will FIFA 23 cost?

With a release date already confirmed and the pre-order process opened, the prices of FIFA 23 can now be easily established. The FIFA 23 Standard Edition price is approximately $59.99 in the United States, while the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition costs $89.99.

As we said before, buying the Ultimate Edition will give you access to the game three days before the release date, which for many players means getting more chances to practice before other players can access the game.
