Orangutan to acquire Enigma Gaming Valorant: Report

0

According to sources close to TalkEsport and as reported by Selugi on Twitter, Orangutan may acquire the Valorant roster of Enigma Gaming featuring Sabyasachi “Antidote” Bose and men.

Jm “Tesseract” Ignacio, another key player, will apparently not participate in the sale because he is still under contract. Enigma Gaming will be without a Valorant roster if the proposal passes, forcing the organization to reorganize around Tesseract.

Since the beginning of the last couple of years, Enigma Gaming has established itself as one of the most prominent names in the Indian Valorant esports scene. The roster has been successful in a number of third-party events and even competed in one of the APAC Challengers stages of the VCT 2022.

Antidote’s team can give their Indian rivals a run for their money, despite shaky international performances. Under Antidote’s guidance, the players are renowned to be exceptionally patient even when confronted with the most difficult of circumstances, and their tactical executions are known to be very well-balanced.

In addition to having flawless synchronization with one another, they have a tremendous amount of firepower. Top organizations such as Orangutan will definitely be excited about the prospect of purchasing a squad with a roster similar to that of Enigma’s current lineup.

Beginning in late September, Orangutan began the process of gradually removing four of its players from the team. These players included Aduka, Ghost, Vibhor, and Ember. As of right present, the only player still considered to be in active status is Mustafa “ShooterR” Kamal.

The Indian organization is in the process of reassembling its squad in preparation for upcoming Valorant competitions in the nation.

It’s interesting to note that Tesseract was a player for Orangutan up until September when he joined Enigma Gaming. Currently, under EG’s full-fledged contract, he’s supposedly excluded from the deal.

On October 27, Antidote expressed his thoughts by posting on Twitter, saying that he is “Really confused.”  Fans were quick to put things together, despite the fact that Antidote did not explicitly state any context for his message.

It would appear that the group is making efforts at the moment to ensure that a positive outcome would be the result.

Even though Global Esports is the only Indian organization to be chosen for the VCT 2023 partnership program, the best Indian esports teams are looking forward to the challenge of competing in the regional Challenger splits in 2019 with the hopes of qualifying for the renowned Ascension tournament.

The current core of Enigma Gaming is shaping up to be an extremely competitive squad, one that should be watched closely at future national events and beyond.

Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4 guide

0

Welcome to another of the weekly installments of our guide library. Within this guide, we will explore Fortnite’s Chapter 3, Season 4. More specifically, the third week of the season and how to tackle the quests and earn that much-needed XP. Before we dive into the action, note that this week’s quests have a little more difficulty than previous weeks, so be prepared. Also, why not prepare as best you can by purchasing V Bucks from ChicksGold? They provide unbeatable rates to see you to victory. With that being said, let’s get into the guide!

Season 4, week 3 Quests: How to Carry them Out

Deal damage to opponents with a Marksman Rifle from at least 75m away.

For this quest, we recommend the new Cobra DMR. This is a highly accurate weapon for these sorts of shots. Next, check their distance, and assuming the range is 75m+ take your shot! To complete this task, you will need to deal at least 150 damage; don’t panic though; this damage does not need to be dealt within the same match.

Deal damage to opponents with SMGs or Assault Rifles

Though this quest can most likely be carried out through organic playing, if you really want to get it in the bag, we recommend the following: Acquire an assault rifle and head to a crowded/popular place such as Tilted Towers. Once there, the chances of encountering enemies from a distance are relatively high, so take your chances and deal the damage needed. Given adequate skill, we estimate that this quest can be completed within only a few matches.

Deal damage to Supply Lamas

Here is where the difficulty can scale up a few notches. It’s rather uncommon to encounter Supply Lamas, so dealing damage to them won’t be the easiest thing ever. For this reason, we recommend the use of a Grapple Glove to zoom through the map for a higher chance of encountering them. Additionally, a long ranged weapon is recommended to offer a better chance of making the mark. This is another quest that can be carried out over several games, though it is possible to deal all 500 damage to one Lama in a match.

Destroy Chrome structures

Within the map, you should be able to distinguish the Chrome areas, make your way to one of these structures (Such as Shimmering Shrine or Cloudy Condos) and locate the chrome-covered items. Once you have done so, begin dealing damage, this quest may take a little more time as you will be required to destroy 100 structures. Therefore, landing in a less populated area will be beneficial to this task, as it should be relatively untouched, allowing you to conduct this quest faster.

Gain shields from JellyFish/ShieldFish/SlurpFish

For this quest, you will need to be near a body of water; the lake to the North of Tilted Towers should suffice. Grab a fishing rod and begin fishing until you acquire the fish mentioned above. You will need to consume the fish to gain the shields, and since you need 200 to complete this quest, you will be a little busy. Don’t worry, this quest is another that does not require being completed in one match.

Land at the Driftwood and collect two Gold Bars in one Match

Check your map to locate the Driftwood, as it freely floats throughout the map; once you have located it, make sure to drop it there. Once you land, begin looting and do as much of it as possible. If you struggle to find chests to open, there should be some residing on the lower deck of the ship. Remember, this quest is one that must be carried out in a single match, so remain vigilant.

Visit Reality Tree and Heralds Sanctum in one Match

This can be a bit more tricky than some of the previous quests, but using a vehicle should help you immensely. So, to tackle this quest, we recommend dropping in Reality Falls and making your way to the road in the southeast, where vehicles are usually found. Following this, make your way to Heralds Sanctum; once you do so, you will be informed of completion and receive your credit.

Astralis adds Device to CSGO Roster

Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz rejoined Astralis following weeks of negotiations with Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Although dev1ce is one of the best CS:GO players, his comeback to Astralis is uncertain. Since Dec. 5, 2022, when NiP defeated GODSENT at IEM Winter, he’s been on medical leave owing to mental health difficulties. Dev1ce did not return to NiP’s active roster in 2022 and instead spent several months competing in FACEIT matches in order to maintain his level of fitness this year.

As earlier mentioned by TalkEsport and 1pv.fr, it now stands confirmed that dev1ce would be donning the Astralis colors moving forward.

The transfer reunites dev1ce with Astralis colleagues Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and Andreas “Xyp9x” Hjsleth. The rest of the lineup includes star Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and academy player Mikkel “MistR” Thomsen, but it’s unclear if Astralis plans more roster changes after missing IEM Rio Major.

Despite dev1ce’s expectations for 2021 were not met, he still had excellent stats before leaving on medical leave. According to the statistics provided by HLTV, Dev1ce received a rating of 1.19 across the entirety of the 53 LAN maps that he played. HLTV reports he had 1.29 impact, 80.7 ADR, and 0.77 kills per round.

He stated, “I can’t describe how thrilled I am to be home again. Astralis is very close to my heart and everyone who has been here for a period of time knows that it is a very special organization with great values and lots of internal support, and I am more than ready to help build Astralis’ future!”

dev1ce was signed over to NIP in April 2021, and the initial transfer cost between NIP and Astralis was reportedly about €875,000. According to the financial statistics of Astralis for the previous year, the price is around 605,000 euros.

It is assumed that Device has paid some of the difference between the two costs out of his own pocket, which contributes to the disparity between the two fees and represents a forgone salary on his side.

Astralis has stated that dev1ce has signed “a multi-year arrangement” with the organization, but the specifics of the financial transaction around the move have not been released.

It has been less than 18 months since dev1ce departed Astralis to join the Swedish outfit NIP in a blockbuster transaction that was reportedly for $700,000. dev1ce’s return comes at the same time.

In his explanation of the decision, he stated that he wanted to establish his legacy by winning the PGL Major in Stockholm, which is the location of NIP’s headquarters as well as the city in which he was residing with his then-girlfriend at the time.

Dev1ce will play his first official match since 2021 for Astralis at the $200,000 LAN tournament Elisa Masters Espoo from Nov. 16 to 20. The likes of Fnatic, ENCE, MOUZ and BIG will also be participating in the event.

Valorant Tournament Mode Explained Easily

0

On October 26th, Riot Games informed their player base about the new competitive mode that will be available in Valorant. The new game mode is going to be named Premier, and it will provide players the opportunity to go “beyond Radiant” with a new seasonal challenge.

Additionally, Premier will feature a well-planned tournament structure for dedicated teams who are looking to take their abilities to the next level. Riot Games addressed challenge-hungry players and stated that it wanted to build a connection between the game and its esports setup through a highly competitive mode that will enable players to experience Valorant in a similar way that pros and teams do.

What Is Valorant Premier Tournament Mode? Answered

This mode will be available in the game when it launches later this year.

In addition, Riot Games mentioned that “next week, the competitive team is going to be delivering the Alpha version of this functionality into the hands of an initial group of players named Premier.”

If we start with a smaller group, we will be able to test and iterate more quickly, which will ensure that the final product is in the hands of the rest of you sooner. In the future, we plan to push this out to a bigger cohort; however, this will allow us to test and iterate more quickly.

“We wanted to build a connection between the game and the esport through a highly competitive mode that would allow millions of players to experience Valorant in a similar way as our VCT pros and teams,” stated Jonathan “EvrMoar” Walker in his blog post.

The developers reaffirmed that Premier is now in the Alpha testing phase and stated that it contains around sixty percent of all of the intended features and capabilities; nevertheless, there are entire features that are not included in the current Alpha.

The new mode in Valorant is named Premier, and it will function as a path-to-pro mode. Players will be able to build five-person teams in order to compete in an environment that is far more challenging. The tournament system used in League of Legends, known as Clash, is comparable to Premier.

In Premier, players will be able to form their own teams and compete against one another across a season of arranged matches. “They will be able to build or join a team of five friends, acquaintances, and neighbors and battle for glory against teams of a similar ability level,” stated Riot. “These teams will compete against other teams of the same skill level.”

Following the completion of the team’s roster, it will be assigned to a division, in which it will compete throughout an ongoing season that is made up of a combination of weekly matches and tournaments.

Each season will be a few weeks long, and if the team is successful in what it sets out to do, there is a chance that it may qualify for the tournament that takes place at the end of the season to compete for the title of Division Champion. Each season will last a few weeks, and the best clubs will compete for the Division Championship.

A select set of Brazilian players will get an initial version of the new mode next week. Riot plans to make it available to more players in the future, but a smaller group will allow them to test and iterate faster and ship the final version sooner.

Premier alpha test includes 60% of intended features and functionality.

Valorant Emotes Could Be Coming Soon, Leaks Suggest

0

A few months ago, we reported that emotes might be coming to Valorant in a future update. However, according to recent leaks that have surfaced on the internet, it seems that the release of emotes in Valorant might be sooner than you think.

On October 25th, Twitter user ‘valorantleaksEN’ leaked a string of codes showing several emotes that may come to the tactical shooter in the near future.

These codes include numbered emotes like “Emote 1,” “Emote 2,” or “Emote 3” alongside a bunch of miscellaneous emotes like “Emote Help,” “Emote Joke,” or “Emote Taunt.”

Valorant Emote

While these leaks give us an idea about the upcoming emotes, we still don’t know anything about their release dates at the time of writing.

Previously, prominent dataminer ‘ValorLeaks’ had revealed some information about these emotes. According to his Tweet, the emotes will be in third-person view, and players won’t be able to move during that time. This likely means that emotes will be limited to the post-round phase or the buy phase only, and players may not be able to use them in the middle of a round.

Furthermore, ValorLeaks also revealed that players will have a wheel in-game to select the emotes from (similar to the chat wheel). Players may be able to assign this wheel to a separate keybind.

Bear in mind that none of this has been confirmed by Riot Games as of yet, so take this news with a grain of salt.

Sonii Valkyrae Breakup: Sonii opens up about breakup with Valkyrae

0

Sonii and Valkyrae were the couple that everyone looked up to in the streaming industry but an unfortunate breakup left everyone in shock. Ever since the breakup, Sonii has did not defend any claims that were made against him which left the general perception towards him as the one who caused the breakup.

However, recently he has been found pretty excited to share his side of the story after 2 long years. In his latest Twitch stream, he expressed his feelings towards Valkyare publicly opening up about her troubles that were caused due to the breakup. The speculation that arose due to Sonii staying silent has acted as a catalyst that is making him want to open up.

“People be saying sh*t”, said Sonii. “I should go on Trainwreck’s podcast. I should. ‘If she’s doing it, why can’t you?’ I mean it’s insanity bro. It’s actually insanity.”

“I might have to just say my piece in response to kind of the bullsh*t that I’m hearing.” he added.

Sonii disagrees with most of the rumors and claims that are being spread in the community due to a lack of clarity from either one of them. However, he does believe that the best way to put down all claims would be to open up and share his side of the story.

The community has spoken in favor of him, with most believing that he too should get the chance to express his side before everyone jumps to a conclusion. However he did say that he is not interested in doing so at the moment but if things get worse he just might.
