About PUBG Mobile LIGHT Closed Beta Test

Alongside pre-registration, PUBG MOBILE has announced a Closed Beta Test (CBT) for selected countries.

The CBT will allow eligible players to experience the game before its full launch. However, PUBG MOBILE has clearly stated that the CBT uses a work-in-progress test build.

This means features, performance, visuals or other parts of the game available during testing may change before the final release. The CBT version should therefore not be treated as the finished product.

Access will also be limited to selected regions, so completing pre-registration does not necessarily mean every player will immediately receive CBT access.

With pre-registration now underway, players have taken the first major step toward trying the upcoming lighter Battle Royale experience. The planned November 2026 launch also means the wait should not be too long. Before the full release, selected players in supported countries will get an opportunity to participate in the Closed Beta Test and experience an early version of the game. However, the developers have made it clear that this test build is still a work in progress, so features and performance may change before launch. Players should also remember that beta access may not be available in every region. For now, interested users can complete their registration through Google Play or the App Store and wait for more details about the CBT and final release date.
