“You guys want to host a tournament like EWC, but when there’s a glitch in the first 5 minutes, you won’t rehost the match. At EWC, they rehost in situations like this.”
According to Spower, attempts were being made to resolve the problem from around the four-minute mark. He claimed that after the issue was eventually fixed, the team was asked to continue playing rather than restarting the match.
Spower argued that continuing from that point affected GodLike’s original strategy.
“How are we supposed to rotate now? What about our game plan, rotations, timings, and positioning?”
The GodLike player also compared the situation with his experience at the Esports World Cup, saying he felt there should be greater consistency in how tournament rules are implemented.
“At EWC, a rule is a rule. Here, it feels like the rules change whenever and however you want.”
He concluded by calling for the same level of consistency and fairness if BMSD aims to operate at the level of international tournaments such as EWC.
