Far Cry 5 is free to play this weekend on PC

Ubisoft will be kicking this weekend off by offering a free weekend for Far Cry 5 on Uplay PC starting May 29th and ending on 31st May. Players will have free access to the base game and its missions for the duration of the weekend. Players will also be able to play in co-op with their friends that own Far Cry 5.

Ubisoft is also allowing users to preload the game from 27th May so as to avoid wasting free days on downloading the 37GB game. Also, the players who purchase the game during the free weekend will be able to carry forward all their in-game progress to the full game.

Ubisoft will also offer upto 75% off on the all the Far Cry franchise games on PC for all editions on Uplay until June 2nd.

Far Cry 5 launched in 2018 is a first-person shooter game developed by both Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Toronto. It is the standalone successor to Far Cry 4. The game takes place in Hope County, a fictional region of Montana, United States. The main story revolves around our main character, an un-named junior deputy sheriff who becomes trapped in Hope County and must fight his way to liberate the County from the rule of Joseph Seed a.k.a The Father, Leader of extremist religious terrorist cult organization “Project at Eden’s Gate”.
