CS2 August 20 Patch Fixes Player Speed Bug and Updates Community Maps: All Changes

Valve has deployed a new update to Counter-Strike 2 on August 20, and it’s a small one with only a few changes.

For starters, the community maps Boulder and Poseidon, which were added to the game at the start of Premier Season 5, have been updated to their latest versions from the community workshops. This aims to bring further polish to the community maps while ironing out any bugs.

In addition to the map changes, the latest CS2 update also fixes a player speed bug that enabled players to move faster when moving against walls.

Apart from these improvements, no major changes have been made to the gameplay or the game’s anti-cheat system, something the community has been demanding for quite some time now.
