BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) is bringing a major new collaboration to the game, with popular Indian creator CarryMinati becoming part of the Battlegrounds in a completely new way. Unlike a normal collaboration appearance or cosmetic item, CarryMinati will be available as a fully playable character in BGMI.
The collaboration will go live from August 15 and remain available until September 13, 2026. It will also introduce a new WOW Map, a special boss battle, an exchange event, and a collection of themed items designed around CarryMinati.
CarryMinati enters BGMI as a playable character
According to KRAFTON India, this is the first time an Indian content creator has been added to BGMI as a fully playable in-game character.
The collaboration also has another unique element. The complete BGMI x CarryMinati collection has been designed by NotYourType (NYT), one of India’s major anime-focused channels.
This means NYT has worked on the playable character, Boss, outfits, weapon skins, vehicle, cards, and other items included in the collaboration.

CarryMinati WOW Map brings 2v2 action
One of the main additions is the new CarryMinati WOW Map.
The map is a fast-paced 2v2 Team Deathmatch experience focused on close-range combat. Players will be able to use shotguns while dealing with interactive traps placed around the map.
The mode is designed around quick fights and moments that can easily turn into exciting gameplay clips.

Players can fight the CarryMinati Boss
The collaboration will also add a special CarryMinati Boss battle to Classic mode.
Players can squad up and fight the CarryMinati Boss on Erangel and Livik. Completing the boss fight and selected Play & Win challenges will reward players with CarryMinati Tokens.
These tokens can then be used in the CarryMinati Exchange Event to claim different rewards.

The collection follows a frost-and-flame theme, combining icy blue designs with gold, red, and phoenix-inspired elements.
The CarryMinati Set features a streetwear and royalty-inspired look, while the Cryo King Set comes with ice-themed armor, a frozen crown collar, golden details, and an icy cape.
Discount vouchers and more rewards
Players will also have access to discount vouchers worth 20, 30, and 50 UC. Each voucher can be redeemed up to five times per user and used for the CarryMinati Spin.
The collaboration will be available in BGMI from August 15 to September 13, 2026. It adds another major creator-focused experience to BGMI and gives players several new ways to interact with CarryMinati inside the game.
