Top 10 Castle Builds in Valheim

valheim

Valheim is an early-access survival game that quickly became critically and commercially successful after its launch back in February this year and set up a record for all-time concurrent players on Steam and sold 5 million copies in just two weeks.

For a game that emphasizes building and crafting, Valheim has lured all kinds of creative players who have built amazing castles and structures inspired by pop culture or simply, their own imagination. Let’s take a look at some of the craziest builds we have seen in Valheim so far:

Eye of Sauron – Barad-dûr

Built on the Plains biome, it’s impossible to top this impressive rendition of the Eye of Sauron from the Lord of The Rings series.

This stone-made structure was created by Rynborg and can be downloaded from NexusMods.

Minas Tirith

Speaking of LOTR, here’s another castle created by Reddit user u/mega_rad_man that was inspired by Minas Tirith.

Mountain Castle

Built by YouTuber Geekism, this castle was created in the Mountain Biome and reminds us of Skyrim’s High Hrothgar.

Stormwind Harbor

World of Warcraft offers players a wide variety of playable areas, Stormwind City happens to be one of them where Stormwind Harbor is located.

The Millenium Falcon

Perhaps this one’s not really a tower nor a castle but rather, a spaceship inspired by Star Wars’ Han Solo’s ship made by Reddit user u/Colonel-James-Parker.

Azuchi Castle (Japanese Castle)

This awesome building seems to be inspired by the Sengoku Era by YouTuber 小智ZHI and frankly reminds us of Sekiro.

The Trollbridge House

This one’s a bit hilarious, perhaps too hilarious as the specialty here is not the castle itself but rather a trapped, helpless Troll looking to find its next victim while user u/LobsterKris watches.

Wizard Tower

Created by u/Khrynn, this watch tower surrounded by the ocean is truly a sight to behold.

“Cozy” Castle

Sometimes, bigger isn’t always better. This small and functional castle was created by YouTuber smskcntr.

Port Castle with a Portal (Yes, pun intended)

Another “simple” build by YouTuber The Pilgrimz Project. However, this one’s located at the waterfront and has a nifty portal room inside.

You can always go into “creative” mode and build similar structures yourself.

Valheim is currently available on Steam.
