Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 continues to expand its Runners storyline, and the latest task asks players to activate a console that connects the Shape to a new structure called the Suppressor. This objective is part of The Visitor’s Construction Story quest line. Here is a full walkthrough of the location and steps needed to finish it.
Where To Find The Shape Console In Fortnite
The console sits on a mountain northwest of the Shaken Sanctuary point of interest. It stands right next to the Suppressor, a structure that Doctor Slone and The Visitor are building. In the game’s story, this pair claims the Suppressor is meant to “help” the Seven. The Visitor is secretly Geno, a character revealed during the Shattered live event.
How To Complete The Story Quest To Activate The Console
Players can only activate the console after finishing every earlier stage of The Visitor’s Story quest line. These stages must be done in order. Here is the full list of steps:
- Go to Shaken Sanctuary and speak with The Visitor about the current situation.
- Travel to Cluster Coast or Sunken Shores and pick up five items rated rare or better.
- Head to The Quackaway and shatter the Aquarium Vault. Players need to avoid the debris that falls during this task.
- Collect and extract five Sprites.
- Pick up a Legendary, Exotic, or Mythic weapon and use it to deal 500 total damage to enemies. Damage dealt to Chapter 7 Season 3 bosses also counts toward this total.
- Walk up to the console and interact with it. On controller, press X or Square. On PC, press E. This activates the console and links the Shape to the Suppressor.
Players will know the quest is done once the Shape’s face appears on the console screen.
Since the console activation task involves six separate quests, players can earn up to 60,000 XP in total. This XP goes toward progress on the Fortnite Runners Battle Pass.
