Who Is Cyberleek? The GTA 6 Leaker Behind the Lucia Leak Explained

Cyberleek is the anonymous GTA 6 leaker who just ended a 25-minute video with a clip of a partly undressed Lucia. Here is what is known about the leaker, the $CYBERLEEK token, the fake accounts and Take-Two's attempt to unmask them.

Cyberleek is the anonymous person or group leaking unreleased GTA 6 gameplay. The name first appeared on August 18, 2026, and it’s back in the news after an October 8 video ended with a clip of a partly undressed Lucia. Nobody has publicly identified Cyberleek. Take-Two is trying to do that through U.S. court subpoenas.

Searches for “cyberleek” jumped after the new video. This guide covers who the leaker is, what the Lucia clip shows, how the crypto token fits in, and why some accounts using the name are fake.

Cyberleek’s New Lucia Leak: What It Shows

The Lucia clip sits at the very end of a 25-minute video Cyberleek posted on October 8. It starts around the 24:10 mark and lasts only a few seconds.

Reports differ slightly on the details. Video Games Chronicle describes Lucia as topless and wearing a small thong while she runs up a tower before a jump. Insider Gaming says she is shown only from behind in minimal clothing, and that the leak does not show her fully unclothed. Dexerto describes her as partly undressed and wearing bottoms.

Most of the video focuses on Jason. Around 14 minutes show him fully nude, in open-world play and in cutscenes that run as normal. The rest covers the Thrillbilly Mud Club, a custom garage and a street race. We broke that footage down in our full report on the 25-minute GTA 6 leak.

Treat all of it with caution. Rockstar has not confirmed the footage, and Dexerto notes it likely comes from an unfinished build. A tank spawn in the same video may be a modification by the leaker, so the nude scenes could have been altered as well.

Who Is Cyberleek?

Cyberleek is a brand name with no confirmed person behind it. No outlet has established who runs it or how they got the footage.

Some of the footage may be old. Industry insider NateTheHate said the August material was more than a year old, and GTAForums users found metadata pointing to 2023. Metadata can be faked, though, so neither point proves where the build came from.

The Cyberleek Edict: What the Leaker Says It Wants

Cyberleek frames the leaks as a protest. Its “Edict” sets out three rules for publishers. They should not sell digital preorders before release. They should not resell single-player content that already sits in the base game files. And they should offer an offline fallback when servers shut down.

The Edict uses Ubisoft’s March 2024 shutdown of The Crew as an example. It also says targeted publishers must apologize publicly or pay restitution, or the leaks will continue. Dexerto found no public evidence that GTA 6’s paid extras break any of these rules. The consumer campaign Stop Killing Games, which pushes for similar changes, distanced itself from Cyberleek in August.

The $CYBERLEEK Token and Paid Polls

Money sits at the center of the campaign. The $CYBERLEEK token was trading by August 15, three days before the first leak, and about $11.8 million in volume changed hands on August 18 alone, according to Dexerto.

Cyberleek then used the token to run polls. In August, fans picked the next leak by sending tokens to one of three options: Beach, Nudist Town or Strip Club 2. Votes were weighted by the number of tokens sent, so one large holder could outvote hundreds of small ones. A new poll appeared on the site on October 5 and closed on October 8, the same day the 25-minute video landed.

The latest video ends with a request for more money. It says the funds go to a separate project that is “Not Rockstar related. Gaming related.” Cyberleek has never said who controls the funds or how they are spent.

Are All Cyberleek Accounts Real?

No. Several accounts use the name, and some have been called out as fake. YouTuber GameRoll first treated cyberleek_ar_io as credible, then reversed course after the account reportedly posted AI-generated images and deleted them. One leaked clip even carries a watermark that reads “CYBERLEEK DOES NOT HAVE TWITTER.”

This matters for anyone hunting for the footage. In August, a fake 113GB “GTA 6 download” spread online and reportedly carried malware. Any account selling early access, builds or downloads is a scam. No real copy of GTA 6 exists outside Rockstar before launch.

Is Cyberleek Linked to the 2022 GTA 6 Hack?

There is no public link. In September 2022, a hacker tied to the Lapsus$ group posted around 90 clips from an early GTA 6 build. UK teenager Arion Kurtaj was later found responsible and given an indefinite hospital order in 2023.

Cyberleek’s footage looks far closer to the finished game, with Jason, Lucia and named locations from the trailers. Rockstar has not attributed the 2026 leaks to anyone.

What Take-Two Is Doing About Cyberleek

Take-Two has asked a court in the Southern District of New York for subpoenas to Microsoft, Discord, X and YouTube. It later dropped the YouTube request and filed a second Discord request under seal, calling the investigation “rapidly evolving”. Rockstar’s only public comment came in August, when it called the leaks “heartbreaking.”

GTA 6 is still set to release on November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rumors around the launch keep spreading, and some fall apart fast, like the claim that GTA 6 would be an Xbox Cloud Gaming exclusive. Until Rockstar shows something itself, treat every leak as unconfirmed.
