CYBERLEEK is back once again with 25 minutes of leaked footage ahead of GTA 6‘s highly anticipated November launch. While the video revealed further details about the game, it has also showcased an unusual level of character personalisation.
The footage is reportedly showing Jason and Lucia with very limited clothing, making it a highly controversial customisation choice.
GTA 6 leak reveals unusual clothing freedom
According to the leaked footage, Jason can be seen in the game without clothing. This remains unchanged even when the game transitions into certain cutscenes. Lucia, on the other hand, can be seen with limited clothing, but the extent of it is still unclear.
It goes without saying that CYBERLEEK footage is coming from an unfinished version of the game. Customisation of such a controversial nature is unlikely to feature in the released version given its legal implications. Should Rockstar choose to have such a feature, it will likely come with a stringent set of limitations without limiting players’ freedom.
Rockstar has not confirmed the GTA 6 leak
Rockstar has been highly cautious of the CYBERLEEK’s content in the past, with several unsuccessful attempts at stopping him. Following weeks of a hiatus, the 370MB ZIP file has once again sparked massive conversations over social media platforms.
Nudity was featured in earlier leaks where Jason was seen in a nudist community filled with NPCs. However, the latest footage takes it to a whole new level, with cutscenes featuring the same outfit from actual gameplay with no filters from the developers.
Given how bizarre it sounds, it would be safe to assume that the final build will ship with some restrictions on such unusual clothing choices. Rockstar has shed very little light on how the personalisation will work in the game, but it would be a highly strange approach.
