S1mple Suggests Map Changes To The CSGO Competitive Pool

A recent CSGO update saw Valve removing Dust 2 from the competitive map pool of the shooter while Anubis was added in its place. In an interview with Blix, professional CSGO player and legendary AWPer Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has revealed his thoughts on this change, while also discussing which maps he would remove from or add to the current map pool of the game.

S1mple mentioned that he doesn’t have a problem with Valve adding Anubis to the official map pool, but he isn’t very happy with the removal of Dust 2, a map that is often considered to be the face of the Counter-Strike series.

Furthermore, the 25-year-old claimed that if he was the CEO of Valve, he would remove a few maps from the pool while adding some others.

“I would remove Ancient, add Train,” s1mple said in the interview. “I would remove Anubis, add Tuscan. I would remove Vertigo, add Anubis. And I would upgrade and do a lot of updates on Anubis and Tuscan. I wouldn’t change anything on Train at all because it was perfect.”

Even though s1mple chooses to remove Ancient from the competitive pool, NAVI’s stats on the map are decent, to say the least. According to HLTV, the org boasts a 69.2% winrate on Ancient.

While s1mple wishes to add Tuscan and Train to the map pool, it’s unlikely to happen any time before the upcoming BLAST Paris Major which is scheduled for May 2021.

Heroic wins CSGO Blast Premier Fall Finals

0

The first big event after the Major has concluded has we have Team Heroic as our winner. Both teams having faced once before in the tournament knew what to expect on the server paired with Danish in-game leaders on both sides was ideal for a tactical fight. Looking at very recent history, Heroic made a deeper run at the major compared to FaZe but their performance at Blast painted a better picture for the international team.

Heroic went with Overpass, a map they knew FaZe were weak on while FaZe responded with Inferno, Mirage was left for the final map.

Overpass:

Despite an early 5 round lead from FaZe, Heroic levelled the score in no time and made a comeback on their offence which was nothing short of a well drilled one. FaZe were able to cut it close on multiple occasions but Heroic knew what they had to do. Moving onto the offence, FaZe failed to yield much as Heroic got to 16 rounds where FaZe only managed 11.

Statistics via HLTV.

Inferno:

FaZe were quick to answer back, while their T side should have yielded more than 7 rounds looking at how meticulous it was. Heroic did manage to control the feisty T side but not until their own failure to do much against FaZe’s rock-solid defence saw them only get 4 rounds more before FaZe were able to close the game out.

Mirage:

The highly dominant defence from Heroic saw FaZe fail to post more than 4 rounds on their offence. Heroic had an answer for everything FaZe and karrigan threw at them as they were in the need of 5 more rounds to win the entire tournament. FaZe started off strong in their defence and quickly levelled the score. It is when FaZe were slacking off but managed to push the game to overtime. Heroic ended the first half of OT with a single-round lead and two consecutive rounds win saw them win the entire series.

The Danes were dubbed as onliners for the longest of times and this would mark as their first every LAN victory. cadiaN having led the side to a couple of prestigious online tournaments has now finally won a LAN beating some of the best teams on their way. Something for the Danes to enjoy having undergone few tough losses in major LAN tournaments before this.

Prime Gaming Games For December 2022 Revealed

0

With so many blockbusters in the past, Prime Gaming games for December 2022 will have a hard time surprising the fans. In addition, there is very little room left for surprises, as we have already discovered a leak regarding the lineup for the next month.

According to a report, the following is what the games list for Prime Gaming in December 2022 would look like. When we have more information on the lineup, we will add it to the article.

New Amazon Prime members are eligible for a free 30-day trial subscription to the service. If you sign up for Prime right now, you’ll be able to get free games starting in November 2022 as well as the games for the following month.

It’s possible that the following month will be your lucky one if you’ve been debating whether or not to play the all-time classic Quake. This first-person shooter set in a dark fantasy was a game-changer for the genre.

You can get a 7-day free trial of Prime Gaming on the website if you don’t have one. The next month, if you are pleased with the services provided (and I have complete faith that you will be), you will just be required to pay the standard fee of $5.99. If you’re short on cash or no longer interested, you can cancel anytime.

This version provides a straightforward shooting experience and takes place across a variety of different maps. There are no cutscenes and the story is not very involved, so your gameplay will not be interrupted.

Skyesports announces CSGO, DotA 2 LAN Event To Wrap 2022 in Mumbai

Skyesports will host CS:GO and DOTA 2 LAN tournaments by the end of this year in December. The announcement was made today on Skyesports’s Twitter handle as the said event would be part of Skyesports 4.0 visionary.

Powered by AMD, Skyesports are to bring back CS:GO and DOTA 2 on the main stage as the former titles would be making their return after the pandemic. It was DreamHack Delhi in 2019 which held the last LAN event for Counter-Strike in India where pro100 emerged victorious.

Skyesports recently had a successful playlist of events happening around the Valorant scene, both National and Overseas. The recently concluded Skyesports SEA Championship earned a plethora of laurels for their massive support towards VALORANT Esports.

As mentioned above, the pandemic saw CS:GO and DOTA 2 both lose their player base soon after Riot introduced VALORANT, which came out as a tough competitor for Valve’s first-person shooter. Almost every Indian professional player switched to VALORANT which saw the likes of Global Esports’s CS:GO roster transitioning to Project A (Now VALORANT).

AMD Skyesports Championship 4.0

As a result of the collaboration that it has formed with Ampverse, Skyesports have announced that it would contribute a total of one million dollars to the prize pools of the next online and LAN competitions that will take place in Southeast Asia between the years 2022 and 2023. And with the current announcement of the Championship 4.0 event, both CS:GO and DOTA 2 will rekindle the nostalgia for everyone in the community.
