Destiny 2 Downtime and Uptime For Today Dec 13

0

With API and Bungie’s main site down for four days, the Destiny 2 community endured one of the worst weekends in recent memory. The developers did provide an update on the situation, assuring Guardians that the upcoming weekly reset, in addition to hotfix 6.3.0.1, will restore complete functionality.

For the past four days, players who rely on API sites like DIM (Destiny Item Manager) or the accompanying app have been in for a world of hurt.

Furthermore, players should be aware that this year’s Dawning will be issued alongside the weekly reset, giving everyone more victories to work on until Lightfall drops. Therefore, Bungie will shut down its official servers at 8:45 a.m. PDT, 15 minutes before the weekly reset (UTC -8).

Before Dawning arrives with the weekly reset, Bungie’s official support account has announced that the servers will be offline for maintenance.

When will Destiny 2 servers be back up

Below is a rundown that may be used by players to fill in the gaps between matches in their favorite time zones:

  • India: 10:15 PM to 10:30 PM // December 13.
  • China: 12:45 AM to 1 AM // December 14.
  • UK: 5:45 PM to 6 PM // December 13.
  • Australia: 2:45 AM to 3 AM // December 14.
  • Brazil: 1:45 PM to 2 PM // December 13.

Although the official servers will be offline for a brief period, Bungie will be performing maintenance in the background for another hour after everything comes back online. In light of this, the estimated end time of the maintenance is 10 AM PDT (UTC -8).

Players should be able to begin rearranging their loadouts across all characters as soon as the servers go live due to the fact that all API features are expected to come online with the weekly reset.

Destiny 2 Patch Notes 6.3.0: Read Inside

Full Auto

A new toggle in settings will be able to add Full Auto to all weapons, as Bungie said players have responded well to the Full Auto Retrofit mod. It’ll be looked at again after Lightfall to see if it can roll out to more weapons. The team is also looking at how this can apply to Glaives, Swords, and roaming Super melees.

Weapon Changes

A new season is a great chance for Bungie to take stock of its weapons and how they play in what the developer calls the “sandbox”.

As we mentioned, Bungie’s blog has a huge number of changes, but here are the highlights.

  • Shotguns – Bungie is adjusting the pellet spread of Shotguns, and the team is giving each subfamily of Shotguns a fixed spread pattern and matching reticle.
  • Sidearms – Drang and Drang (Baroque)’s zoom stat has been dropped from 14 to 13.
  • Fusion Rifles – Fusion Rifle hip-fire reticles have been redesigned to react to things like firing or jumping, and Main Ingredient’s stability and aim assist have been nerfed.
  • Glaives – Glaive projectiles have more reliable hit detection, and melee attacks with a Glaive can benefit from Exotic armor like Synthoceps. Glaives damage multipliers have been reduced against Champions and bosses, while base melee damage has dropped, too.
  • Hand Cannons – Rose is getting a series of changes, with increased range, reduced stability and handling, and an Airborne effectiveness rating of 20.
  • Blinding Effects – Older weapons like Grand Overture and The Queenbreaker now use the new Arc blind effect used in Season of Plunder.
  • Weapon Mods – In Bungie’s own words “weapon mods that increase the effects of weapon perks do not make for interesting decisions”, so Dragonfly, Rampage, and Surrounded perks are enabled by default on those weapons.

Perk Changes

Destiny 2’s weapons are a complex weave of base weapons, archetypes, and perks, and Bungie is taking a lot at perks with Destiny 2 update 6.3.0, too.

  • Air Assault: Now grants stacking bonus to Airborne Effectiveness, with two stacks. One for a final blow, two for an airborne final blow, and each stack is worth an additional 30 Airborne Effectiveness points.
  • Headseeker: Body shots now increase your precision multiplier and buff aim assist, and the base timer is now 0.55s.
  • Encore: Bungie says this was too complex, but final blows now grant Encore stacks that allow for increased stability range and accuracy. There’s a max of four stacks, and body final blows add one stack, while precision blows add two.
  • Seraph Rounds: Bungie has removed the +10% range buff, but it now offers +7 stability and +3 range.
  • Tunnel Vision and Kill Clip: These two perks can now be refreshed while active, but Kill Clip’s damage bonus has dropped from 33% to 25%.
  • Redirection: Now works more consistently across all enemy types.

Buffs & Nerfs in Destiny 2 Update 6.3.0 patch notes

Bungie is buffing the following:

  • Hakke Breach Armaments trait: Increased damage vs Ward of Dawn and Well of Radiance sword by 30% (60% with the artifact mod for Season 19) and 15% damage increase against Stasis crystals.
  • Gutshot Straight: Buffed Auto Rifle body damage to 20% from 10%.
  • Compulsive Reloader: Now remains active down to half ammo capacity.
  • High-Impact Frame intrinsic perk: Slow movement doesn’t turn off the perk.
  • Ambitious Assassin: Time between kills upped from 5 seconds to 7.
  • Well-Rounded: Now lasts 15 seconds (was 10)
  • Recombination: 100% bonus damage in PvE at full stacks, adds 50% damage in PvP
  • Zen Moment: No longer deactivates with a missed shot, and has a 1-second timer.
  • Rewind Rounds: Now work properly when hitting Divinity cage.
  • Genesis: Refills weapon ammo when breaking player shields
  • One Quiet Moment: Faster reactivation after a final blow.
  • Gun & Run: Now requires half the number of final blows to trigger.

For nerfs, expect to see the following:

  • Box Breathing: Damage bonus on Scout Rifles reduced by 5%.
  • Unstoppable Force: Damage reduced from 30% to 20%.
  • One-Two Punch: Reduced bonus melee. Unpowered melee is now a 2x bonus, charged melee is now a 1.4x bonus, and against bosses, it’s 0.25.

Exotic Buffs and Nerfs in Destiny 2 Update 6.3.0 patch notes

The following are being reworked:

  • The Fundamentals Perk (Hard Light, Borealis, Dead Messenger): New stats for each element:
    • Arc: +25 handling and +5 range.
    • Solar: +35 reload speed and +20 airborne effectiveness.
    • Void: +20 stability and +10 aim assist.
  • Borealis: Breaking a shield now refills from reserves and buffs the next five shots.
  • Jade Rabbit: Three quick critical hits returns a round to the magazine and increases damage of the next body shot, stacks to three increased damage body shots.

Naturally, there are some exotic nerfs, with Bungie noting the overwhelming popularity of Arbalest, Divinity, and Witherhoard in endgame content.

  • Witherhoard: Taken portal duration shortened to 4.5 seconds from 7.5 seconds.
  • Divinity: Reduced weaken to 15% from 30% (still self-buffs to 30%)
  • Arbalest: Reduced body shot damage to match Lorentz Driver.
  • Gjallarhorn: Reduced impact and detonation damage by 25%.

Still, the fun stuff is right here – exotic buffs.

  • Full Auto Trigger System changes mean these perks need to be replaced:
    • No Time to Explain: replaced with Feeding Frenzy.
    • Traveler’s Chosen: catalyst perk replaced with Surplus (it still has Osmosis).
    • Vigilance Wing: catalyst perk replaced with Ensemble.

  • The Prospector: Now has Chain Reaction as an intrinsic perk.
  • Fourth Horseman: Recoil dropped by 50%.

  • Merciless: Decreased charge time.
  • Rat King: Radius from teammates to activate its perk is now 20m instead of 15.
  • Legend of Acrius: Removed movement penalties.
  • Bastion: Reduced spread angle by 6%.
  • Quicksilver Storm: PvP grenade damage and explosion radius increased, rocket damage now Kinetic.
  • Coldheart: Reduced cooldown on Ionic Trace, maxes stability and reload speed at max damage, and picking up Ionic Trace reduces time to hit max damage.
  • Xenophage: Half damage as impact, other half as detonation, with overall damage buffed by 5%.
  • Cloudstrike: Lightning Storm activates properly when hitting Divinity’s cage.

    • Quicksilver Storm
      • Increased PvP maximum grenade damage from 80 to 120. Increased explosion radius from 3m to 4m.
      • Switched rocket damage from Arc to Kinetic.
    • Coldheart
      • Reduced cooldown on Ionic Trace generation from 3.5s to 2s.
      • Now maxes out stability and reload speed when at maximum damage.
      • Picking up an Ionic Trace now reduces the time it takes to get to max damage.
    • Grand Overture
      • Increased missile damage by ~50%.
    • Xenophage
      • Now deals part (roughly half) of its damage as impact damage, and the rest as detonation.
      • Overall damage increased by 5%.
    • Cloudstrike
      • The lightning storm will now correctly activate when hitting Divinity’s cage.
    • Witherhoard
      • Reduced Taken blight duration from 7.5s to 4.5s.
    • Divinity
      • Reduced Divinity’s weaken from 30% to 15%.
      • Still self-buffs to 30%.
    • Gjallarhorn
      • Reduced primary rocket’s impact and detonation damage by 25%.
      • Wolfpack Rounds damage unaffected.
    • Arbalest
      • Reduced body shot damage to match Lorentz Driver.

ABILITIES

  • Solar subclasses
    • Gunslinger
      • Knock ‘Em Down
        • Golden Gun
          • Now provides 15% bonus damage resistance to Deadshot Golden Gun, and no longer provides bonus duration.
          • No longer provides 15% bonus damage resistance to Marksman Golden Gun.
          • Note: After seeing this play out in the wild, it was clear that there wasn’t enough differentiation between Deadshot and Marksman Golden Gun, primarily due to Deadshot benefiting significantly more from Knock ‘Em Down’s bonus duration (as seen by the number of Seventh, Eighth, and Fourteenth Column videos in recent months). We want to push these two enhanced Supers further apart and solidify Marksman Golden Gun as the option where you can take your time to aim your shot from range, and Deadshot as a more in-the-fray option. We believed that doubling up on bonuses and the bonus duration was confusing these identities and not giving them enough space to breathe.
        • Blade Barrage
          • Blade Barrage bonus projectiles reduced from 5 to 3 per group. It now releases a total of 20 knives (+43% from base), down from 24.
          • Note: While it was refreshing to see Blade Barrage topping the charts as a change of pace, the stacking bonuses from Patch 6.1.0’s PvE damage increase and consistency improvements and Knock ‘Em Down’s bonus knives, in combination with other buildcrafting elements, pushed the burst damage of Blade Barrage above where we were comfortable with burst Supers being. We believe this will still be a strong option for burst damage without being as much of an outlier.
    • Dawnblade
      • Celestial Fire
        • Increased close-range melee damage from 90 to 100, so players using Celestial Fire and the auto-melee option are no longer disadvantaged in close-range melee fights.
    • General
      • Ember of Torches
        • Radiant base duration reduced from 10s to 8s.
        • Now applies a -10 Discipline penalty while equipped.
      • Ember of Solace
        • Now provides a 50% bonus to Radiant duration, rather than a flat 5s.
        • Note: this is consistent with its behavior with Restoration.
      • Restoration
        • Restoration x1 base healing rate reduced from 25 to 20 health per second (40 health per second in PvE activities, down from 50).
        • Restoration x2 base healing rate reduced from 40 to 32.5 health per second (65 health per second in PvE activities, down from 80).
        • No longer stacks with Healing Rift’s healing. The stronger heal-over-time value is prioritized and will stop the weaker heal-over-time from taking effect.
  • Void subclasses
    • Nightstalker
      • Shadowshot: Deadfall
        • Increased tether anchor lifetime when triggered from 8s to 12s.
      • Shadowshot: Moebius Quiver
        • Reduced tether anchor lifetime when triggered from 8s to 6s.
    • Sentinel
      • Shield Bash
        • Improved reliability of the suppression application when hitting the primary target under poor network conditions.
    • Voidwalker
      • Nova Bomb: Vortex
        • Increased initial projectile speed by 21%.
        • Increased radius of the inward pull impulse on impact by ~17%.
        • Increased strength of the inward pull impulse on impact by ~20%.
        • Note: Vortex Nova Bomb has felt like a niche option for a while now, and we want to improve its viability relative to Cataclysm Nova Bomb by doubling down on its unique pull impulse. We also felt like it was too easy to undershoot targets at close-to-mid ranges. Increasing the initial projectile speed should help players catch their intended target more reliably.
    • General
      • Void Overshield
        • Fixed an issue where the Void overshield was only providing 25% PvE-only damage resistance to the overshield, rather than the intended 50%.
  • Stasis Subclasses
    • Revenant
      • Winter’s Shroud
        • Fragment slots increased from 1 to 2.
    • Shadebinder
      • Glacial Harvest
        • Reduced cooldown on Stasis shard creation (per 6 shards) from 15sto 10s.
    • Behemoth
      • Cryoclasm
        • Fragment slots increased from 1 to 2.
    • Stasis Grenades
      • Duskfield Grenade
        • Increased slow stack application rate on players by 13%.
      • Coldsnap Grenade
        • Coldsnap can now track targets for 0.5s after creation, rather than immediately finding a target and traveling toward their last known position.
        • Note: Base Coldsnap grenade was not meeting our reliability bar and was too frequently getting stuck in the environment or missing targets that had not significantly changed position. Our goal with this change is to increase Coldsnap’s reliability without compromising the ability for potential victims to relocate and avoid being frozen.
    • General
      • Stasis Slow
        • Increased movement speed penalty while Slowed by 10%.
      • Whisper of Rending
        • Now provides bonus damage to Stasis crystals and frozen targets for all Primary weapons, rather than just Kinetic Primary weapons.
  • Arc Subclasses
    • Arcstrider
      • Tempest Strike
        • Increased Tempest Strike damage against PvE combatants by 30%.
    • Striker
      • Ballistic Slam
        • Increased Ballistic Slam damage against PvE combatants by 16%.
      • Touch of Thunder
        • Storm Grenade
          • Decreased Touch of Thunder’s Storm Grenade base roaming duration from 5s to 4s.
          • Decreased the bonus lifetime granted by Spark of Magnitude to the enhanced Storm Grenade from 2s to 1.5s.
          • Fixed an issue that caused the enhanced Storm Grenade’s effective area to be difficult to understand in PvP.
            • Previously, the friend-or-foe ring surrounding a Touch of Thunder Storm Grenade’s lightning strikes blinked on and off between strikes, and there was no indication within the cloud itself of whether or not it was friend or foe. Now, the ring persists through the life of the storm, and enemy storms have an additional VFX layer in the cloud itself to help differentiate them from those created by allies.
    • Stormcaller
      • Ball Lightning
        • Increased travel distance from 27.5m to 35m.
      • Chain Lightning
        • Increased damage against PvE combatants by 50%.
      • Arc Soul
        • Increased base damage vs. PvE combatants from 35 to 60.
        • Note: With the release of Season 18, we increased Arc Soul’s base damage in PvE from 25 to 35, but it’s clear that wasn’t enough to help them feel particularly useful in very high-end PvE activities, so we decided to swing harder this time. We’ll be keeping an eye on this one as the Season progresses to make sure these are landing where we’d hoped.
    • Chaos Reach
      • Reduced base cooldown from 9:16 to 7:35.

    • Destination materials removed:
      • Glacial Starwort – Europa

      • Microphasic Datalattice – Nessus

Material exchange changes in Destiny 2 update 6.3.0 patch notes

  • Rahool will no longer sell destination materials.
  • Players who have destination materials on their account will still be able to exchange them for Glimmer at Rahool, although at a reduced rate compared to what is currently offered.
    • Current exchange rate: 20 destination materials = 10,000 Glimmer.
    • Rahool will provide context sensitive offers that will display depending on how many of each material players have in their inventory, offers will be invisible to players who do not have any destination materials.
      • New exchange rate: 20 destination materials = 5,000 Glimmer.
        • Offers are Only visible if players have more than 20 of the associated material in their inventory.
      • New exchange rate: 1 destination material = 250 Glimmer.
        • Offers are only visible if players have less than 20, but more than zero of the associated material in their inventory.
    • This will be the only use for destination materials beyond Season 19.
    • These offers are unavailable for previously deprecated materials such as Etheric Spirals, Alkane Dust, Phaseglass Needles, or Seraphite.
      • We don’t want players to feel bad if they have thrown these resources away.
  • Rahool now allows players to exchange the following materials for Glimmer:
    • Dark Fragment
    • Phantasmal Fragment
    • Herealways Piece

VENDORS

  • Destination material cost has been removed from Upgrade Module purchases.
  • Purchasing costs for the Monument to Lost Lights will see the destination material costs replaced with Legendary Shard costs.
  • As mentioned earlier in these patch notes, the Kill-Tracker Ghost Shell will no longer appear on Lord Shaxx if it has already been acquired. It may be reacquired from Collections.
  • Devrim Kay and Failsafe will see their current reputation system, which required players to spend Dusklight Shards and Microphasic Datalattice, respectively, removed.
    • Currently out of scope to create new reputation system akin to what we saw with Finch on Throneworld.
      • These vendors will no longer sell sunset weapons.
      • Destination armor will be available for purchase without requiring players to earn ranks with the vendor.
        • Cost will be 1000 Glimmer and 25 Legendary Shards.
      • Emblems and rewards that were once unlocked through ranking up vendor will become purchasable on vendor.
        • Ghost Shell Cost: 10 Legendary Shards.
        • Emblem Cost: 25 Legendary Shards.
    • Increase the number of daily bounties available at the vendor from 3 to 4 to be in line with other destinations.

GHOST MODS

  • The following Ghost Mods will be removed as they no longer will have any functionality in the game:
    • Materialism (Vanguard)
    • Materialism (Crucible)
    • Materialism (Gambit)
  • The Following Ghost Mods will see changes to their functionality:
    • Public Defender: no longer increases destination material acquisition, now offers increased Glimmer rewards.
    • Bountiful Harvest: no longer increases destination material acquisition, now offers increased Glimmer rewards.

PLATFORMS AND SYSTEMS

GTA Online Patch Notes December 13: Los Santos Drug Wars update

Newly updated versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 have been released by Rockstar. The patch notes for version 1.64 state that the game has received new Story Missions, Freemode missions, a new business for players to operate, and several experience upgrades.

And it’s not just a general fix; this patch addresses two problems that only PC users have encountered. The newly implemented ray-traced reflections, however, are not available on the PC. Instead, you can only use Ray Tracing on a PS5 or an Xbox One S|X.

Deathmatch Creator

The Deathmatch Creator is receiving updates to Play Area, Eligibility, Spawning, Scoring, and other general updates

Play Area

  • Active play areas will now display visually when they are shrinking
  • Shrink Time
    • The time to control shrinking play areas is now set to minutes and seconds, this was previously set to seconds
    • An option has been added to shrink the play area over the duration of a Deathmatch.
  • Shrink Conditions
    • A new option has been added to swap between time remaining and time elapsed to delay the start of the play area shrinking
    • Team Score and Players Remaining have been added as new conditions to start shrinking the play area
  • When setting the size that the play area will shrink to, a visual representation of the final size is now displayed in the Creator
  • A new option has been added to each play area that makes out-of-bounds spawn points invalid for player spawning. This keeps players spawning within their active play area throughout the Deathmatch, rather than respawning and being out of bounds again
  • A new cylindrical shape has been added for play areas. Players can set the height and radius for this as they wish, and spherical bounds are also still available for use

Modifier Set Eligibility

  • Eligibility will see the addition of new conditions to check and the ability to become scalable with lobby options through the percentage check
  • Conditions
    • New condition – Lives
      • A Modifier Set can be applied to players based on the number of lives they have remaining
    • New condition – Killstreak
      • Kills earned within a single life can be used to trigger a Modifier Set change. The Modifier Set is lost on death and players change back to their most relevant modifier
  • A new Comparison Type option has been added, allowing players to check a percentage or a specific value for the Condition set. Available for Score, Time, and Lives Conditions
    • This also allows the use of the lobby settings to change these values and the condition check to scale with them
    • This was previously only specific values

Spawning

  • Limit Spawn Protection Time – A new option has been added to Combat Settings to control the amount of time players are invulnerable after respawning
  • Modifier Restrictions – A new menu has been added to Spawn Point placement to allow you to restrict players from spawning at that spawn point if they have a specific Modifier Set active
  • When respawning, players will now have the last weapon they were using equipped if it is still in their inventory
  • When making a Deathmatch that only has one life available, the number of spawn points required only needs to match the number of players that can join the Deathmatch

Modifier Set – Scoring

  • Death Score – Players can now set score to receive on death within a Modifier Set
    • +/- score when dying
    • As well as +/- score when dying to melee or a set weapon group as a bonus
      • For example, you can leave Death Score at 0 but set Melee Death Bonus to -1. In this case players with that Modifier Set active will lose 1 point when being killed with a melee weapon

Creator

  • The Maximum number of Modifier Sets is now 25 (up from 11), allowing players to add even more customization to their Deathmatches
  • Team/Free for All only options are now greyed out when locked to a specific type of Deathmatch. This is to help reduce the number of potentially available options. So, if a player locks their Deathmatch to Free for All, Team-related options will become greyed out and unable to be used
  • Added an option to clear settings from the Default Modifier Set in the Manage Modifier Set menu
  • Modifier Sets can now have a name given to them, from a selection of 58 preset descriptive names
    • This is done in the Manage Modifier Set menu, press X/Square/Del on the Modifier Set in the Modifier Sets menu
  • Option to select a Modifier Set to test in Test Mode
    • Selecting this will stop your Modifier Set from changing during the test
  • Forced Test Modifier Set – A new option has been added to the test menu that allows players to select a specific Modifier Set to be used when entering test mode. When using this option, players are locked to using that Modifier Set for the entire test. Modifier Sets will not change when using this option
  • Disable Friendly AI – A new option has been added to the test menu that allows players to enter a team deathmatch test on their own. This will allow players to test their Modifier Set transitions without friendly AI also contributing to things like score that may cause a Modifier Set change.
  • A HUD element has been added to test mode that shows the players’ current Modifier Set, so they can easily tell which Modifier Set they are currently playing with while testing
  • The damage modifier option for Throwables within a Modifier Set has been removed

Ambient Settings

  • Lock Shops – A new option has been added to prevent players from entering shops when playing Deathmatches

The devs did provide Guardians an update on the matter, promising them that the entire functionality will be returned with the forthcoming weekly reset and hotfix 6.3.0.1.

Players that depend on API sites like DIM (Destiny Item Manager) or the companion app have been in serious trouble for the previous four days.

Players should also be aware that the weekly reset and this year’s Dawning will also be released, giving everyone additional triumphs to work on until Lightfall drops. Consequently, 15 minutes before to the weekly reset at 8:45 a.m. PDT, Bungie will shut down its official servers (UTC -8).

When will the Destiny 2 servers be back up during Week 2 of Season of the Seraph? (13 December) Bungie’s official support account has stated that the servers will be unavailable for maintenance before Dawning comes with the weekly reset.

GTA Online Los Santos Drug Wars Update Download Size For PC revealed

0

Newly updated versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 have been released by Rockstar. The patch notes for version 1.64 state that the game has received new Story Missions, Freemode missions, a new business for players to operate, and several experience upgrades.

And it’s not just a general fix; this patch addresses two problems that only PC users have encountered. The newly implemented ray-traced reflections, however, are not available on the PC. Instead, you can only use Ray Tracing on a PS5 or an Xbox One S|X.

But in any case, the next time you start the Rockstar launcher or Steam clients, they will automatically download this update for you. You may also find its changelog further down this page.

GTA Online Los Santos Drugs Wars DLC download sizes

Due to differences in data formats used to run the game and in graphical constraints between devices, update sizes can vary widely. The following is a breakdown of the file sizes for the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC update for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S:

  • PC // Xbox One // PS4 : 3 GB
  • PlayStation 5 // : 5 GB
  • Xbox Series X/S // : 12 GB

The increased dimensions are a result of the inclusion of high-quality visual upgrades designed to exploit the capabilities of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox X/S series of platforms.

Some background on the visual upgrades can be found in a bulletin published on December 6, 2022:

“PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will add ray-traced reflections, rendering real-time reflections on many surfaces: via the Fidelity Mode graphics setting.”

Since most of the new missions will take place in Blaine County, it’s in your best interest to get an off-road vehicle before venturing there. The new missions, as the name suggests, will have the player’s character taking over the city’s psychedelics trade.

Players who upgrade the game will also get access, for a limited time, to a brand new, completely free vehicle, the classic Declasse Tahoma Coupe. All of this is done in honor of the tremendous haul that the GTA Online community as a whole made during The Heists Challenge.

When will Destiny 2 servers be back up in Season of the Seraph week 2? (December 13)

How to get a nuke in Warzone 2

0

It was only a rumor until three days after Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s release that someone actually exploded a nuclear device.

The original Warzone’s nuclear, which transformed Verdansk(opens in new tab) and ushered in the Cold War with the updated ’84 version, was different.

If you’re familiar with the original Tactical Nuke killstreak, you’ll know exactly how the new Warzone 2 nuke works: once it’s detonated, the match is over for everyone. However, unlike the killstreak, you’ll need to find several specified things during a game and defend them from others.

How to get a nuke in Warzone 2

  • You need to secure win five consecutive wins in Warzone 2.0
  • Make sure to start the Champion’s Quest contract
  • Find the three elements needed for the nuke
  • Wait for the bomb site to get highlighted on the map
  • Now use the three components to arm the Nuke
  • Defend the bomb for other players for at least 2 minutes

Warzone 2’s nuke can only be activated after some research. There are multiple phases you must complete to bring complete destruction to everyone on the Al Mazrah battlefield, and teamwork will play a crucial role.

If you make it through the first hurdle and win five games in a row, a unique contract labeled Champion’s Quest will appear on the world map for you to complete. Tritium, Beryllium, and Plutonium, marked on the map, must be collected after this is started.

Before you realize that other players can steal these materials from you, these tasks may appear to be really straightforward and easy to complete. If you have any nuke components, you’ll be highlighted on the map with a giant golden crown, making you more likely to be hunted.

Once you have all three supplies, wait for the bomb site to appear on the map and assemble the nuke. The countdown clock is now at two minutes, and you must arm the nuclear weapon.

You still have some work to do before you can relax; other players still need to be kept at bay until the bomb goes off. As soon as it happens, the screen will go white, signaling the end of the game and your team’s victory.

The official Fortnite Twitter account teased a My Hero Academia crossover with a graphic on December 11. The tweet also confirmed the arrival of the crossover content on December 16.

My Hero Academia was first hinted at in Fortnite’s Season 1 Chapter 4 debut trailer, which dropped on December 4. After the Doom Slayer and Geralt of Rivia appeared in that trailer, My Hero Academia’s main character, Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, joined the foray.

The video game Fortnite has a history of collaborating with anime series on multiple occasions. The debut of the Dragon Ball Super crossover event in August saw gamers having a blast giving characters like Goku and Vegeta access to automatic weaponry and the game’s signature dance movements.

Players might also equip and use Goku’s Kamehameha attack, suggesting the Detroit Smash from My Hero Academia could be added. Prior to that, Naruto-related content was uploaded in November 2021, with further characters and outfits being added in June of this year.

Fortnite had already worked with Naruto and Dragon Ball Z, and this marks the third significant anime collaboration for the popular video game.

It’s perfect for Fortnite, which is known for infusing pop culture into its gameplay. The inclusion of My Hero Academia could be the most recent anime series added to the game in an effort to attract the game’s well-known teenage fanbase.

0

My Hero Academia’s Fortnite crossover has been announced and will be available shortly. based on a current tweet from the Fortnite official Twitter account. On December 16, 2022, Fortnite x My Hero Academia will debut.

The My Hero Academia crossover event will reportedly include more than simply Deku and an All Might pickaxe, according to an insider. Epic Games hasn’t revealed all the specifics of what it would contain, though. Keep checking back for updates, which should come before the event begins the following week. In advance of Banda Namco’s My Hero Ultra Rumble, which will offer us an excellent preview of what a My Hero Academia battle royale game would be like.

At the conclusion of the Chapter 4 gameplay preview, Deku made an appearance and used his One For All abilities to knock a building into a number of adversaries. This gave people the impression that the crossover event would be identical to the Dragon Ball crossover event, except that Deku would punch things instead of Goku launching his Kamehameha assault.

The duration of crossover events is usually two months, and there are many challenges to accomplish in order to earn gifts with a crossover franchise theme. Additionally, it’s probable that the game’s battle royale modes may get temporary in-game additions.
