Valorant cheat seller “Satan” reportedly accused of a fraudulent sale

0

A new scam has surfaced which claims to be a Valorant cheat seller sourcing out non-functional injectors.

They go by the name “Satan”. Yes, you heard it right. People at Satan who reportedly sell Valorant cheats on the internet have been exposed to running a scam through their business. Satan’s Store has currently listed the cheats for Valorant and Call of Duty : Modern Warfare for sale on their website.

An individual from the Valorant community reached out to us at TalkEsport who bought the cheat package from Satan. Although the deal seems to have hit a dead end after the individual never got the delivery of his Cheat and was blacklisted from their Discord Server. The only thing he was left with was the Cheat Launcher or let’s say a .exe file which never opened up.

The buyer allegedly paid $88 USD (roughly 7290 INR) to Satan in return for a premium Valorant hack. Initially as mentioned above, he was given a launcher of the cheat which was an executable file. Although nothing good came out of it as the cheat never had its first breath with that executable ruled out to be an empty one.

Upon raising a ticket, the developers at Satan asked him to wait every other time until today, it grabbed his attention that he had been blacklisted from Satan’s Discord Server.

Below we have attached a Screenshot that shows us the chat between the buyer and Frank who happens to be a Satan rep to which the latter replied with an “I don’t know”.

The whole scenario is indeed gruesome as the buyer seems to have run out of luck in his desperate times.

Satan has currently been advertising their cheats over social media and other platforms and the community is yet to discover this fraudulent activity of theirs. If you come across any advert which promotes the sales of their cheats, do make sure not to fall for the same.

We at TalkEsport would like to motivate all gamers not to indulge in such businesses as Satan to avoid potential scams and theft attempts. Cheating in a game is a strict offense and stands stiff with a 0 tolerance policy if you’re banned from playing.

A plethora of gaming conglomerates like Riot Games and Valve Software load up their games with heavy-duty Anti-Cheat software which may intercept unusual behavior if spotted in the game.

Why Indian Government’s Recognition of Esports Is Crucial

0

Esports for an average Indian household still remains a taboo, a profession that most consider being nothing more than recreation. Out of concern, parents wish their kids to choose conventional paths for their careers that would result in a secure future and esports often fail to find a significant place in these conversations.

In a democracy like India, the Government plays a very important role in infusing trust into a profession. Traditional sports which have the backing of the Government are often trusted by Indians and esports might have a parallel stand if the masses are educated about the prospects in this profession.

Trust plays a vital role in every industry and concerned Indian parents would definitely not let their kids work hard for a career in gaming over more conventional fields of education like Engineering and Law. The Indian government has the power to help a business thrive in India if the information is spread in the right manner to the concerned target audience.

The gaming industry has so many areas where skilled personnel is needed so if one chooses to make a career in this field, one will have a wide spectrum of different professions to choose from besides being a professional player in the Esports industry.

While the majority of Indians assume esports to lack the fundamentals that a traditional industry boasts, it is their lack of awareness that has kept this field from growing. The Government can help spread the word that esports goes beyond a means of recreation and is a viable career option in 2022.

With recognition from the right bodies, the already growing Esports scene can increase said growth tenfolds and keeping esports parallel with other traditional sports like cricket and football can see parents think of their kid’s future in gaming.

There are plenty of success stories that might be enough to convince the masses of esports as a genuine career choice but the uncertainties around it are often a setback, but what career doesn’t have them? An individual should take an informed decision before taking a leap in any career and awareness plays a key role here.

Piers Morgan claims Andrew Tate shot dead

0

Piers Morgan recently had his Twitter account hacked and the hacker used it to leak messages that have put Morgan under fire, specifically with his comments surrounding Christiano Ronaldo. However, the hacker used it to take shots at fighter turned online personality, Andrew Tate.

In a Tweet, Piers Morgan announced that Andrew Tate was shot dead in Dubai which many believed to be true given the former’s credibility as a journalist until it was revealed that his Twitter account was hacked. The news for obvious reasons sent shockwaves given Tate has been one of the most controversial personalities with his rather unconventional opinions on certain topics.

Piers Morgan’s account was misused to the point he had to deactivate it but by the time he was able to take the situation under control, things were already far out of his hand and Tate was one of the many that the hacker took a shot at.

“Hard to kill” is what Tate had to say against Morgan’s Tweet.

It is safe to assume that Tate was completely aware that the account was not under Morgan’s control and that it was the act of a hacker when the journalist had no control over his account.

All of this has been part of a big elaborate joke that the hacker knew it won’t last long. Morgan gather a lot of attention after his exclusive interview with CR7 and posted a series of controversial Tweets during Leo Messi’s triumph in Qatar which is what likely put him under the crosshairs of the said hacker.

India officially recognises Esports as a part of “multisport event”

0

The Indian government has officially recognized esports in the country. Esports will now be a part of the “multisports event” category in India under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports and a section related to “matters relating to online gaming” is added under MeitY as well.

Under the Cabinet Secretariat, the addition of “esports” was notified under the sub-heading Department of Sports under, the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The notification was sent on December 23rd, 2022 marked on memo No: S.O.6062(E).

This is a substantial step towards regularizing an industry that brings in millions if not billions of dollars every year in terms of investments and expenditures. The Government has made its intentions and willingness to boost the digital economy and gaming (now can be called esports) in India.

Although this is just the beginning, the formation of a committee or at least a table at the existing one is what the community should be looking up to.

How to get your Steam Replay 2022 Easily

0

Features like Spotify Wrapped and YouTube Recap are evidence that every data-gathering organization is eager to flaunt the interesting insights it has gleaned from its users’ data. But Valve isn’t going to be left out, and this year they’re releasing their own “Steam Replay” function.

It breaks down your gaming time between PC and Steam Deck, reveals your most played games, and more.

You can choose to let your friends see your replay or try to keep them from doing so using the game’s sophisticated sharing features. Images suitable for posting on social networking platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, and even Pinterest can be created.

Valve provides you with two options for broadcasting your own Steam Replay summary to the world. Before you share a link, you can change the page’s visibility from the default Private setting to either Public or Friends Only.

It is also possible to preserve a condensed image of the games that you have won and then share that image on social media.

These kinds of customization options are great for expressing yourself to your pals and are a lot of fun. Not everyone wants their data tracked for these purposes, but others enjoy learning about their hobbies and how they compare to others.

It was also interesting to see how much more active I was in my gaming pastime at the start of the year and during the summer compared to the previous three or so months.

There are two different routes you can take to access your Steam Replay account. Scroll to the top of the Steam shop page and choose “New & Noteworthy,” then “Steam Recap 2022,” or click the link at the bottom of this post to go directly there.

Once you’re in your Steam account, the Steam Replay page will display the various categories under which your 2022 gaming activities fall. These include “Playtime” and “Sessions Played” statistics for your most active titles, monthly playtimes, keyboard and mouse versus gamepad usage, greatest daily streak, and Steam community comparisons.

Those that participate in the show using Virtual Reality or Steam Deck equipment are given extra attention in the summary. Don’t forget that Steam doesn’t record the duration of your offline gaming sessions, which can skew your Steam Deck statistics.

SouL MortaL bags runner-up title at the Esports Awards 2022

0

Naman “MortaL” Mathur has been involved in the Indian esports scene for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI; the Indian version of PUBG Mobile) since its inception.

Being the co-founder of S8UL Esports and a Battlegrounds Mobile India player from India, MortaL was also a finalist but did not take home the prize. However, on the 26th of December, the Esports Awards published on its Twitter handle the top three contenders for the “Esports Personality of the Year” award, and MortaL was revealed to have placed second.

Throughout his time in the esports industry, he was consistently regarded as one of India’s top BGMI players, and his team, Team SouL, was consistently regarded as one of the country’s top esports organizations.

He’s competed in a wide variety of national and international tournaments, earning him a high profile around the world. MortaL explained on a recent stream why Indian teams consistently perform poorly internationally.

At this year’s Esports Awards, the top three nominees for Esports Personality of the Year were announced.

  1. Nadeshot
  2. MortaL
  3. Charles Christopher White Jr a.k.a moistcr1tikal

By being nominated for The Esports Awards in 2020, MortaL made history as the first Indian player ever. MortaL came in second for “Streamer of the Year” and third for “Esports Mobile Player of the Year” back in 2014. The following year, MortaL was once again nominated for “Streamer of the Year,” but he once again came up short of taking home the hardware.

From a pool of twelve contenders, the following three have emerged as frontrunners for “Esports Personality of the Year,” as per the aforementioned Tweet:

Even if MortaL didn’t take home the hardware, being in second place at an event as famous as this one is no small feat. MortaL recently streamed a lengthy explanation of the many criteria used to determine the “Esports Personality of the Year” award.

He was nominated for the first time this year, and he speculated that the jury will evaluate him based on how well he kept his character intact.

At the Esports Awards 2022, MortaL came up short in his attempt to win “Esports Personality of the Year,” while S8UL Esports bested major esports companies to take home the “Content Group of the Year” trophy.

It was on September 16 that Mortal first uploaded a Mini Militia gameplay to YouTube. In 2018, he made the switch to PUBG Mobile. While still thriving on YouTube, the well-known producer also found success as an esports player with S8ul Esports.

Mortal is still active despite being forced to play numerous other games since PUBG Mobile was banned.

BGMI 2.4 APK Fake or Real?

0

BGMI players must have come across several applications claiming to be the new BGMI update. The new BGMI 2.4 APK is not been officially launched in the country. Here is why BGMI version 2.4 APK is fake.

Battlegrounds Mobile India was a very popular BR game in India but it was recently banned by the Indian government for violating user privacy rules and having links with China.

After imposing these restrictions, the authorities have blocked all access to distribute the game publicly and this has led to fake applications being circulated in the country.

According to the guidelines imposed by the government, the developers are not allowed to distribute the game anywhere. BGMI has been removed from Google Play as well as the Apple App store. This has made it impossible for the developers to push an official update.

BGMI was banned around a month ago and according to the regular seasonal cycle, the players were expecting a seasonal update right now. This has led to opportunists taking huge advantage of ignorant audiences and circulating fake BGMI applications.

Readers might have come across several fake BGMI 2.4 applications for now but remember that all of them might be fake. Even if the officials launch an update, it will be via the official application as well and hence, do not download applications from any other third-party stores.

Players that might try to download and install this fake application run at risk of their phones being infested with viruses so we urge them to not download the BGMI 2.4 version from any unauthorized third-party vendor.
