The Evil Within 2 available for free on Amazon Prime Gaming

Months after beta testing Prime Gaming in the South Asian market, Amazon has quietly released the service to its members in India.

The gaming service is a free perk for Prime and Video members, giving them access to a variety of mobile, PC, and Mac games and in-game items. A number of new titles are added to the service each month by the e-commerce company.

Prime Gaming has brought numerous in-game content for some popular games. Apart from that, there are free games that you can keep forever if you are a Prime member.

Indian users won’t have to pay any extra buck to get Prime Gaming and it comes under the regular INR 1499 per year Prime subscription in India.

Starting off the new year with a scare, Amazon Prime members can download The Evil Within 2 at no cost.

Nowadays, free video games are easy to come by on just about any website. If you count “at no additional cost” as “free,” then yes. 

The 2017 horror hit The Evil Within 2 is the highlight of a collection of six games available free to Prime members on Amazon till the end of the month. Other free games include: Elsewhere, Breathedge, Beat Cop, Faraway 2, the Lawn Mower Simulator, and Chicken Police – Paint it RED.

Getting your hands on a free copy of The Evil Within 2 for PC is as simple as going here, copying the pre-loaded code, and signing into your GOG account. 

It’s a survival horror masterpiece, as we said in our 2017 review, and it doesn’t hold back on the scary parts.

A sequel to 2015’s The Evil Within, The Evil Within 2 was created by Tango Gameworks (which Shinji Mikami co-founded) and published in 2017. Sebastian Castellanos, the protagonist of the survival horror game, is a detective looking for his missing daughter, Lily.

Before Ghostwire: Tokyo, Tango Softworks launched a survival horror sequel that competed with Resident Evil 7 and was one of 2017’s top horror games. Now, Prime members can get their hands on that horror sequel for free on GOG until February 15th.

Other games like Chicken Police – Paint it RED!, Lawn Mowing Simulator, and Faraway 2 are also downloadable.

While the finer details on the upcoming Valorant map Lotus haven’t been revealed at the time of writing, the Episode 6 cinematic gives us a decent idea about what the map will look like. 

For starters, what players have been speculating for a while now seems to have been confirmed by the trailer – Lotus is likely to be set in India.

With that being said, the trailer didn’t showcase the exact layout of the map, but according to a recent leak by prominent Valorant dataminer ‘ValorLeaks’, Lotus will feature three bombsites instead of the usual two.

So far, with the exception of Haven, all the maps in Valorant have had two bombsites only. With Haven still remaining a part of the competitive map pool after the removal of Bind and Breeze in Episode 6, it’ll be interesting to see how this new map is received by the community, considering that the game will now have a seven-map pool with two maps having three bombsites each.

With the release of Overwatch: Season 2, a new limited-time mode called Battle for Olympus is now available for a limited amount of time.

In keeping with the season’s mythology theme, Ilios’ Ruins will serve as the setting for the Battle of Olympus, which will feature seven players decked out in full Greek garb. Here is all we know about the Battle for Olympus game mode.

Olympus’s time-bound event drop date: 

The event will take place over the course of the subsequent two weeks. The five-day launch of Battle for Olympus and its subsequent nineteen-day run will occur on January 5 and 19, respectively. 

There will be a variety of skins and bundles available for purchase at the event, all of which will be featured in the upcoming Arcade game mode.

While Blizzard has remained mum on the specifics of the new game mode that will be featured in Battle for Olympus, hints were dropped in the Overwatch season 2 announcement Blizzard blog.

“These heroes and several others will be imbued with awesome god-like powers in our new Battle for Olympus game mode,” Blizzard wrote.

An Overview of the Overwatch 2: Battle for Olympus Gameplay

Free-for-all deathmatch mode called “Battle for Olympus” features seven Heroes, each with their own set of “reimagined” abilities based on their mythological namesake. 

You’ll have a limited selection of characters including Junker Queen, Pharah, Widowmaker, Lucio, Reinhardt, Ramattra and Roadhog. Here are some of their reimagined powers:

1. Zeus Junker Queen: Smite enemies with Commanding Shout

2. Minotaur Reinhardt: Charge in quick succession

3. Cyclops Roadhog: Shoots boulders

4. Hades Pharah: Shoots 3 Rockets

The trailer reveals a brand-new look for the heroes of Overwatch, one that takes inspiration from ancient Greece. And the divine enhancements really pack a punch.
