Streamers Call For Clix to Be Unbanned as #FreeClix Trend on Twitter

0

Fortnite streamers and fans have taken to social media to demand that popular player Cody “Clix” Conrod’s ban from the game be lifted. The hashtag #FreeClix has been trending on Twitter as supporters argue that the punishment does not fit the crime.

Clix was banned from Fortnite in early April 2021 for 7 days for teaming during a competitive match. However, just a few weeks later, he was banned again, this time for 14 days, for teaming up during a Cash Cup tournament.

Teaming is against the rules in Fortnite competitive play as it gives players an unfair advantage over others. Clix has apologized for his actions and has stated that he understands the seriousness of his behavior but all he wanted was to make a point for his audience and not take the unfair advantage that came along.

Despite Clix’s contrition, his supporters argue that the punishment he received was too harsh. They point out that other players who have been caught teaming in the past have received much lighter punishments or even no punishment at all.

Streamers and fans have also criticized the lack of consistency in the way that Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, enforces its rules. Some argue that the company should have clear guidelines and a more transparent process for determining punishments.

The #FreeClix movement has garnered support from many high-profile Fortnite players, including Tfue, SypherPK, and Ninja. They have called for a more lenient approach to be taken in this case and for Clix to be allowed to return to playing Fortnite.

It remains to be seen whether Epic Games will respond to the calls to lift Clix’s ban, but the controversy has highlighted the need for clearer guidelines and more consistent enforcement of rules in competitive gaming.

Adin Ross to Give $10,000 to Kai Cenat Over Lost Bet on Ryan Garcia Fight

0

Adin Ross, a popular Twitch streamer and content creator, recently made headlines after losing a $10,000 bet with fellow content creator Kai Cenat over the outcome of a boxing match between Ryan Garcia and Javier Fortuna.

The highly-anticipated fight took place on July 9th, 2022, and Adin Ross was confident that Garcia would come out on top. However, things didn’t go according to plan, and Garcia ended up withdrawing from the fight just days before due to an injury.

Despite this setback, Adin Ross still believed that Garcia would win, and he decided to place a $10,000 bet with Kai Cenat. Kai, who has a reputation for being an avid sports bettor, accepted the bet and put his money on Fortuna. Unfortunately for Adin Ross, his confidence was misplaced, and Fortuna ended up winning the fight in a split decision.

Adin Ross was understandably disappointed after losing the bet, and he took to social media to share his frustration. However, he also took the loss in stride, acknowledging that betting is always a risk and that he would learn from his mistake.

Despite the loss, Adin Ross has continued to grow his Twitch channel and expand his brand. He has built a loyal following of fans who enjoy his entertaining streams and engaging personality. And while the $10,000 bet may have been a tough pill to swallow, it’s unlikely that it will have any long-term impact on his career or reputation.

Overall, the Adin Ross vs. Kai Cenat bet over the Ryan Garcia fight was a high-stakes showdown that kept fans on the edge of their seats. While Adin Ross may have lost this round, it’s clear that he’s not one to back down from a challenge, and fans can expect to see more exciting content from him in the future.

Fortnite Bans Twitch Streamer Clix for “Teaming” with Opponent

0

Twitch streamer Cody “Clix” Conrod took to Twitter today to announce that he has been banned by Fortnite for “teaming” with an opponent in a recent match. As a result of the ban, Clix will not be able to compete in the upcoming season of the Fortnite Championship Series or the Copenhagen LAN event scheduled for the end of the year.

clix fortnite ban

During a recent stream where he discussed his ban, Clix disclosed that he received a two-week ban and provided additional details about the extent of his punishment.

This means I can’t play the FNCS Grand Finals, and I also can’t play the next FNCS in a month, so that means I can’t go to the LAN event. I did break the rules right there, but I feel two weeks is a little bit too harsh and I would be happy with a seven-day or three-day, or even a warning, where I can play the next FNCS.

Cody “Clix” Conrod

The Fortnite Championship Series of 2023 is scheduled to take place in Copenhagen at the end of the year and will boast a whopping $10 million prize pool, making it one of the most significant in Fortnite’s history. Regrettably, Clix, a well-known player and a top competitor in the FNCS scene, has received a ban from the game. Consequently, he will not be able to participate in the NA Grand Finals or LCQ for the Copenhagen LAN, dealing a significant blow to his chances of success in the tournament.

Why Did Clix Get Banned From Fortnite?

Clix speculated that Epic may have based their decision on the game replay, which made it seem like he was teaming up with the enemy. However, during his stream, he expressed his frustration with the situation, emphasizing that he was actively trying to stop the enemy’s sniping. He further clarified that he does not hold any resentment towards Epic for their decision.

If they looked at the replays, chat, it does look like I was teaming, from the replays out of context, I completely agree. I’m not trying to go off at Epic whatsoever, it’s more that I’m disappointed at the fact that I got a consequence off of someone else’s actions that I wasn’t even able to control.

Kingpins defeat Reckoning Esports in AA Gaming Rush B CS:GO tournament

Kingpins continue their Upper Bracket run of AA Gaming’s Rush B CS:GO tournament after defeating Reckoning Esports in a 2-0 stomp.

Kingpins Vs Reckoning Esports Match Details :

  • Online: Best of 3
  • Winner Advances, Loser is relegated to Lower Bracket.

Map Veto

1. Kingpins Ban Overpass
2. Reckoning Esports Ban Vertigo
3. Kingpins Pick Ancient
4. Reckoning Pick Inferno
5. Kingpins Ban Nuke
6. Reckoning Esports Ban Anubis
7. Mirage was left over

Map 1 : Ancient (Pick : Kingpins, Winner : Kingpins, Final Score : 16:7)

Kingpins kicked off Ancient on the right foot by securing the pistol round on the T-side and the anti-eco round that followed. Reckoning Esports retaliated in the third round, winning the first buy round of the game, but couldn’t keep up their momentum as Kingpins won the next three rounds back to back.

Reckoning pulled off a surprising win in the seventh round despite having an extremely low investment of just upgraded pistols against their opponents who were on a full buy. Kingpins managed to win the following round but Reckoning were able to secure the next three rounds to make the score 5-6. The rest of the half saw some great individual performances from Kingpins players as the half ended with a score of 9-6 in favor of Kingpins.

The second pistol round didn’t go as smooth as the first one for Kingpins. However, DiceDealer pulled off an astonishing post-plant 1v2 clutch and defused the bomb with a kit to give his team the head start in the second half. Despite Reckoning Esports winning their force-buy round that followed, the rest of the second half was a one-sided showdown from Kingpins who closed out the game 16-7, rallying behind some stellar performances from DiceDealer (24K/11D) and Benzene (21K/15D).

Map 2 : Inferno (Pick : Reckoning Esports, Winner : Kingpins, Final Score : 16:12)

Inferno was much more of a nail biter than the first game on Ancient, especially during the first half that saw both teams fighting neck and neck to gain the advantage over the other. Reckoning Esports started the game off with an advantage on the T-side after winning the first three rounds of the game. Kingpins were swift to strike back, winning the next six rounds back to back before Reckoning regained their composure. The first half ended 8-7 in the favor of Reckoning Esports.

Reckoning Esports managed to secure the pistol round on the CT side as well, but failed to convert the follow-up round on account of a 1v2 post-plant clutch from DiceDealer. He also enabled Kingpins to take the lead on the 21st round with an amazing 3K with his trusty AK-47. Kingpins then proceeded to win five of the seven rounds that followed to close the game 16-12.

As a result, the best-of-three series ended 2-1 in favor of Kingpins. Bhavi was undoubtedly the star of the second map, rocking an insane 31 kills with only 18 deaths and an ADR of 99.2.

With this defeat, Reckoning Esports drop to the lower bracket, where they will battle it out with Wasted Potentials on Day 3 of the event.

Teams will play out each other in a double elimination bracket with all the match-ups to be Best of 3s. You can catch the live action on AA’s YouTube, Glance, Rooter channels and on their Facebook Page.

OnlyFriends Outclass Wasted Potential in Rush B CSGO Tournament

Only Friends have moved onto the Upper Bracket of AA Gaming’s Rush B CSGO tournament where they have defeated Wasted Potential.

Wasted Potential vs Only Friends Rush B CSGO Tournament Recap

  • OnlyFriends Vs Wasted Potential
  • Online: Best of 3
  • Winner Advances, Loser is relegated to Lower Bracket.

Map Veto

1. Wasted Potential Ban Anubis
2. Only Friends Ban Vertigo
3.  Wasted Potential Pick Inferno
4. Only Friends Pick Ancient
5. Wasted Potential Ban Overpass
6. Only Friends Ban Nuke
7. Mirage was left over

Map 1: Ancient (Pick: Wasted Potential, Winner: Only Friends, Final Score: 16:4)

Only Friends opened their match-up, coming out with all of their guns blazing to go up 5-0 on Ancient. It was KiiLSwitch who scored the fifth round straight for Only Friends after denying the CT’s a defuse by converting a 1v3.

Despite getting the next round in their bags, Wasted Potential failed to convert their momentum as their reinforcements further crumbled into the hands of Only Friends with the deadly duo of Crazy_gamer and Ph1NNN wrecking some serious havoc. The first half ended 13-2 in the favor of Only Friends after MunchkinCara and V3nom were able to sneak the second round for their team from Ts.

Coming from the break, destitute and listless, it just added to the woes of Wasted Potential as they were only able to secure 2 rounds on their attack, giving away their own map pick 16-4.

Map 2: Inferno (Pick: Only Friends, Winner: Only Friends, Final Score: 16:12)

Inferno was clearly a carbon copy of how things started on Ancient with clouda and company initially settling into the map with a comfortable lead of 5-0. It was V3Nom and AR7 who set the pace for Wasted Potential as they set up the rhythm for their team as they were able to win straight 7 rounds on their offense and close out the first half 8-7 in their favor.

The second half saw both the teams trade rounds back and forth thanks to 3vilpr1nc3 and his valiant efforts to keep his team in contention and a bid to force the decider over Only Friends. The latter conceded just 12 rounds as the scoreboard suggested as Ph1NNN and reV3nnnn stole the spotlight right under the nose of Wasted Potential as Only Friends comfortably cruised to series point and victory with the final score of 16-12.

Wasted Potential now awaits the losers of the FIREDUP-Gaming and IKARI as they now play the elimination match in order to stay alive in the tournament.

As discussed, 8 teams were directly invited to the tournament based on their previous results in the scene, as also mentioned above. The prize pool is yet to be announced by the tournament organizer and will be updated as soon as TalkEsport is nudged about. FIREDUP-Gaming will take on IKARI on the Day 2 opener followed by RDX facing SlowAimers.

Teams will play out each other in a double elimination bracket with all the match-ups to be Best of 3s. You can catch the live action on AA’s YouTube, Glance, and Rooter channels and on their Facebook Page.

Why is Jonathan the best BGMI player in India

0

Any mobile gamer in India knows who Jonathan is as he is the biggest BGMI pro player in India. Jonathan has gained a name for himself for his notorious plays and insane clutches that gave him the title of “hacker” in Indian servers.

Here are the top six traits that make Jonathan the best BGMI player in India.

  • Insane Aim: Jonathan is one of the best talents India has ever produced in terms of raw mechanism. Before getting fame, Jonathan was termed as a hacker by many because no one could imagine such a precise aim by a budding player while PUBG Mobile was still in its early stages of building an esports ecosystem in India. Jonathan is a regular name seen on kill leaderboards when Team GodLike plays in any tournament.
  • Controlled Aggression: Jonathan has been playing on the front foot before the meta of aggressive gameplay reached India. Jonathan and company were considered the most dominating team in India because no other roster could manage to stand against them when the entire team was firing with their weaponry. Amidst this, Jonathan attacks players head-on but also knows when to stop as overly aggressive push can sometimes lead to the decimation of teams.
  • Team Backup: Jonathan has emerged as a star because he has an incredible team to back him up. The current GodLike roster of Neyoo, Clutchgod, ZGod, and Jonathan has not changed in the last two years despite changing organizations. Jonathan now has a habit to play with this team and this flourishes his performance even more. Despite going into a slump phase, Jonathan has stuck with his team.
  • Positive Mindset: No fan has ever seen Jonathan go into an uncontrolled aggressive state or in a sad state due to his performance. Jonathan is always smiling and aiming to make a comeback if the team loses and celebrates when they win. This attitude is one of the key factors in Jonathan’s success in this ever-evolving industry of esports.
  • Potential to win: Jonathan can win in tournaments even if he is the last person surviving in that match. Nobody can give up their hopes until Jonathan is alive in the game. For instance, Jonathan was the last surviving player from the team in a match of PMWL 2020. He went on to survive till the final circle in Erangel and win a 1 Vs 3 clutch against Team Secret to win the map. Performances like this led them to finish sixth on the global stage at PMWL East 2020.
  • MVP: Jonathan is a star from Team GodLike and is always in contention for the MVP award. He has secured the title of MVP on multiple occasions like the recent Skyesports Championship 3.0, Loco War of Glory, and other tournaments.

These are the learnings that one can take to become like Jonathan and get better at the game while approaching every duel or fighting mindfully in ranked and custom matches.

How to Improve Your Team in BGMI?

0

BGMI is a team game and it is very important that a roster needs to understand the essential things that make or break the game.

Cooperation and coexistence are two of the most important and underrated skills that often get shadowed when one looks to improve their gameplay in BGMI. Here are five pointers that you can work on to carry your team to victory.

Communication

Communication is a key factor in multiplayer games such as BGMI. You need to keep your voice chat on and tell others to do so. Having a good communication line is half battle won.

Positive reinforcement

One should not be blamed for making small mistakes in-game. Players often tend to lose their temper when their teammate makes mistakes in a heated game.

Clear goals

Prioritizing a common goal is very necessary as multiple decisions can lead up to a messier situation.

Leadership

One player should act as a leader and guide others towards the commonly prioritised goal. A team without leadership does not have anyone to rely on.

Accountability

Even though one should not be blamed for bad actions, one should be held accountable. Rectifying mistakes is a small step towards making progress in the long run.

If a team focuses on these pointers, they can bolster their play style and become the best BGMI team and continue to improve on their solo plays as well as their team efforts.

Adin Ross Urges Kai Cenat to Join Kick, Following Ban

0

Adin Ross has called on fellow streaming superstar Kai Cenat to join him on the rapidly-growing platform Kick after Kai was banned from Twitch on April 17. Adin, who has also faced multiple bans from Twitch and now streams on Kick, urged Kai to make the move and leave Twitch behind for good.

Adin and Kai are two of the biggest streamers in the world, with both boasting massive followings and dedicated fan bases. However, both have had their fair share of issues with Twitch in recent times. Adin was banned permanently from the Amazon-owned platform earlier this year, and Kai was also hit with a ban, leaving fans wondering what the future held for the streaming superstar.

Adin wasted no time in reaching out to Kai following his ban, urging him to make the switch to Kick. During a FaceTime call, Adin quizzed Kai on how he was feeling and whether he would consider joining the Kick platform.

Kai seemed hesitant, telling Adin that no platform could make him do anything and that he was bigger than any platform. However, Adin argued that Kai was worth far more than Twitch was offering him, and that Kick would be a happy and healthy home for him to stream on.

Adin’s move to Kick has proven to be a major success, with the platform quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing in the streaming world. Trainwreck, who is behind the platform, has signed a number of big-name streamers to exclusive deals, and Adin’s arrival was seen as a major coup.

Now, Adin is hoping that Kai will follow in his footsteps and make the move to Kick. While Kai seemed hesitant during their FaceTime call, it remains to be seen whether he will eventually take the plunge and leave Twitch behind for good.

Regardless of whether Kai decides to join him on Kick, Adin’s move to the platform has highlighted the growing popularity of alternative streaming services to Twitch. With more and more streamers facing bans and other issues on Twitch, platforms like Kick are becoming increasingly attractive to those looking for a new home to stream from. As such, it seems likely that we will see more big-name streamers make the switch to platforms like Kick in the coming months and years.
