Notably, just a day before falling ill, Team SouL’s Manager Siddhant “Sid” Joshi had announced that Goblin was benched from the team. However, since then, Goblin has been absent from both BGMS Season 2 and Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 matches.

Team SouL’s Coach Amit “Amit” Dubey recently talked about Goblin’s absence from the team. He revealed that Goblin was sidelined from the team due to his lackluster performance. He added that he cannot provide a definitive answer for Goblin’s return.

Amit further explained that there wasn’t a direct correlation between Goblin’s presence on the team and the team’s performance. He added that it is not necessarily true that when Goblin joins, the team will perform better or even worse. “There are a lot of ifs and buts possibilities. But the thing is, the four players that are on the same page, are playing on the team,” he added.
