XDefiant Leaks Reveal Assassin’s Creed, Rabbids & New Game Modes

0

Ubisoft’s free-to-play shooter, XDefiant, is gearing up to expand its universe with an array of new factions, weapons, and game modes, promising an eclectic mix of content that could redefine the game’s landscape.

Recent leaks revealed that XDefiant is set to introduce factions from some of Ubisoft’s most iconic franchises. Players can look forward to the stealth and agility of Assassins from Assassin’s Creed and the chaotic charm of the Rabbids, originally from Rayman, infiltrating the battlegrounds.

The addition of these factions is not just a nod to Ubisoft’s rich gaming history but also a strategic move to diversify the gameplay experience in XDefiant.

The leaks, courtesy of dataminer AgainTX, suggest that Ubisoft is not holding back on the content front. A list of possible new weapons has surfaced, including a sawed-off shotgun, Tommy Gun, FAMAS, turret, RC car, FAL, and G36 rifle.

These weapons could introduce new strategies and playstyles, keeping the combat fresh and engaging. Moreover, new game modes such as team deathmatch, capture the flag, and infection are reportedly in the works. These modes are staples in the shooter genre and could attract a wider audience looking for classic, competitive gameplay.

Looking beyond the immediate updates, the second year of XDefiant might bring even more surprises. Factions based on The Crew—Ubisoft’s open-world driving game—and more Rabbids content are planned.

While it’s uncertain how these elements will be integrated into the shooter, their inclusion hints at Ubisoft’s commitment to innovation and cross-franchise synergy.

Ubisoft has reportedly issued DMCA strikes to remove some of the datamined images and screenshots from social media, which could indicate the legitimacy of the leaks.

However, the selective nature of these takedowns has left some content accessible, further fueling speculation among fans.

Lone Wolfs of CS2: Some of the Best Players Without a Team Right Now

Let’s take a look at some of the best CS2 players who aren’t in the scene as of today. There are some players we’ll look at today whose names if associated with folks who wouldn’t be in a team, even a year in the past would’ve garnered laughter from everyone. Well, despite every well-fit opportunity and the CS2 scene getting competitive day by day, some of the best players have to leave active lineups and occupy spots on the bench.

Firstly, starting with the one & only,

S1MPLE

s1mple cs2

CS:GO’s godchild, the GOAT, none other than S1MPLE just had to be the first on our list since he’s been missing the action on CS2 even since the game’s launch except for that one cameo appearance with Team Falcons in the online BLAST Spring showdown.

Reports speculate that the 26-year-old has been focusing on the project he has been pursuing for a while now called “Play Like S1mple”. Much like it sounds, it is an educational series aiming to help CS2 players improve their game sense in line with how S1mple looks at the game. Despite the time it took out of his life, he recently announced that he is committed to returning to the scene as an AWPer or a rifler.

BLAMEF

Despite being a controversial talent, BlameF’s reputation has been in the bin for a while now. He has been widely regarded as one of the dirtiest baiters in the tier-one scene, with his IGL track record proving disastrous for Astralis. Despite all of these flaws, blameF is one of the best CT rotate strategy executors in the game, which of course lands him in the standing for one of the best CS2 players. If he were to make some small changes to his otherwise inspiring gameplay, he would be the most effective and impactful lurker.

JKS

jks csgo

We can’t wait to hear the repeat of backlash on this one. But yes, everyone in the community thought G2 getting rid of jks was a mammoth’s mistake, no team has yet picked him up for over half a year since his inactivity. And we don’t understand why. He is a safe, experienced player who doesn’t require a lot of resources to get things done in the game and is one of the best teammates to rely on when left to anchor a site; solo.

We believe one of the only reasons that could be an issue is his age (28 years old) which could be a reason holding him back since all of the teams have started infusing the huge amount of teenage talents being pumped out of FPL and other tier 2 tournaments. Having said that experience is sometimes better than sheer skill and hopefully, some teams should start realising that very soon.

Nevertheless, we can’t wait to see what these players pull out of their hats in the coming years, and we wish them the best of luck. To find more similar & interesting reads on the CS2 scene, click here.

Find out Who Are Arguably the Top 3 Youngest CS2 Players in the World

CS2 has more teenagers playing the game than ever and the future of the tournaments that Valve seems to have up their sleeves looks promising. A few years back, just the thought of a teenager approaching their parent to pursue esports as their career would send shivers down their spine, but post-COVID there has been a wave of realization as to how much esports can positively touch people’s lives.

This has even led every other pro team to find and invest in young talents from academy or FPL teams. Kicking it off with the list.

Mzinho: 16 yrs

Mzinho cs2

The youngest of them all, Mzinho at the age of just 16yrs is one of the high ranking – tier 1 CS2 players worldwide. The Mongoz’s roster is just a sheer example of how taking a chance on youth and forgoing experienced veterans can sometimes be a viable strategy. More so, the average age of the entire team sits right under 20 years, making them one of the only rosters that can still walk around without a stick in the coming couple of decades.

Jokes aside, even Mzinho being the prodigy he is, struggled at the beginning of his career in the Mongolz often finishing tournaments with a negative K/D. However, with constant improvement, he has been climbing up the ladder even against some of the best teams in the world at the ESL Pro league season 19.

Donk: 17 yrs

There just aren’t enough words to express what a fairytale Donk’s career has been so far, considering he is just a 17-year-old kid. The Russian spectacle earned the tournament MVP medal right away at his first tier one LAN i.e the Betboom Dacha Dubai 2023

He even went on to give a record-breaking performance at IEM Katowice, where he averaged a mind-bending 1.7 rating throughout the entire tournament, with Spirit claiming the trophy over FaZe Clan. If Donk somehow manages to keep delivering like his track record shows, there is nothing that can stop him from becoming one of the best CS2 players in the years to come.

Jimpphat: 17 yrs

Jimpphat cs2

MOUZ has been banking on younger talents in the recent past & it’s safe to say that it is paying off. The team even won the ESL Pro League Season 19 and while the whole squad was putting up what was an overall well-rounded gameplay, 17-year-old Jimpphat was lighting up games with his erudite anchoring skills and numerous multi-kill rounds.

Even in the tier one CS2 scene, Jimpphat felt right at home to go on and become one of the best players in the world for his position, which is a testament to his spectacular talent and abilities.

Finally, there is just one thing that gives them the advantage over all of the other prodigies in the world: time. With their careers just starting in esports, they have decade-long sessions to practice and hone their skills, iron out their flaws, and become the best version of themselves out in the world.

We’re excited to see how they move along in their careers and provide us with gameplay that will be a pleasure to watch! The skins are anticipated to be available in the event-exclusive shop for 1200 JJK crests, which are event tokens. This estimate is based on the pricing of skins in recent events, but prices may vary once the event officially launches.

The return of the MLBB x Jujutsu Kaisen event is eagerly awaited by fans of both the game and the anime. Players should stay tuned for official announcements and prepare their Diamonds to partake in the excitement.

Who is Mellstroy? Kick Streamer Linked to Champions League Pitch Invasion

The Champions League final at Wembley Stadium was disrupted by a brazen pitch invasion, which has now been linked to a staggering £300,000 challenge posed by a controversial social media influencer known as Mellstroy. Here’s what unfolded during one of football’s most prestigious events.

Mellstroy’s Audacious £300k Offer

Andrey Burim, better known by his online alias Mellstroy, is a 25-year-old vlogger and streamer from Belarus who gained notoriety after reportedly offering a hefty £300,000 prize to anyone who could successfully invade the pitch during the Champions League final while wearing a personalized t shirt with his name. This dare, which was broadcasted across his social media platforms, where he enjoys a substantial following, particularly on Kick and Instagram, seems to have been the catalyst for the incident.

The match, which saw Real Madrid clinch a record-extending 15th European Cup with a 2-0 victory over Dortmund, was halted just 30 seconds after kickoff due to the intrusion of three individuals donning shirts emblazoned with ‘MELLSTROY’. The invaders’ actions led to a two-minute pause in play, much to the dismay of fans and officials alike.

The Aftermath and Arrests

Wembley Stadium’s spokesperson announced at half-time that all pitch invaders had been detained. Furthermore, the Metropolitan Police later reported a total of 53 arrests related to the final, with a handful specifically for the pitch invasion and the majority for attempts to breach stadium security.

Security Concerns and Criticism

The incident has sparked an investigation into the security measures at Wembley, especially considering the significant investment made to prevent such breaches following past events. The ‘ring of steel’ operation, which cost around £5 million, was called into question as the pitch invasion occurred despite the heightened security presence.

Who is Mellstroy?

Mellstroy’s influence as a streamer began in 2015 after he left college, with a focus on gaming content, particularly Minecraft. His online presence has grown significantly, with over 470,000 followers on Kick and more than three million on Instagram, showcasing his reach and potential impact on his audience.

The actions of the pitch invaders and the alleged incentivization by Mellstroy raise serious legal and ethical questions. Wembley Stadium officials and the Metropolitan Police have condemned the stunt, emphasizing the illegality of entering the field of play and the commitment to support authorities in taking appropriate action.

The Champions League final pitch invasion, allegedly motivated by Mellstroy’s lucrative challenge, has highlighted the powerful influence of social media personalities and the potential consequences of their actions. As the football community reflects on the incident, the focus will likely shift to ensuring such disruptions are prevented in the future, safeguarding the integrity of the sport and the safety of all involved.

During the match, three individuals wearing t-shirts emblazoned with ‘Mellstroy’ and advertisements for his Kick Stream stormed the pitch, leading to a brief halt in play. The intruders were quickly apprehended and removed, allowing the game to resume. It was later confirmed that the pitch invaders had been arrested, and a Wembley spokesperson condemned the interruption, reminding spectators of the illegality of entering the field.

Following the incident, Mellstroy was banned from Kick, and his channel became inaccessible. The specifics of the ban, whether it is temporary or permanent, have not been disclosed, leaving questions about Mellstroy’s future on the platform and his intentions regarding the promised cash prize.
