CS2 Budapest Major 2025 Stickers Revealed: Full Patch Notes

With only two weeks remaining till the highly anticipated Budapest Major 2025 kicks off, Valve has officially released the player and team capsules for the event in Counter-Strike 2.

Alongside the sticker capsules, the Viewer Pass for the Budapest Major has also been added to the shooter. Players can grab the Pass and submit their Pick’Ems before the tournament begins for a shot at the prestigious Diamond Coin.

Lastly, the new CS2 update adds a new form of cosmetic to the game called Sticker Slabs. These Sticker Slabs are essentially weapon charms that can be embedded with a single sticker from the player’s inventory. The slab can be broken at any time to recover the sticker or transferred to a different weapon like any other charm.

Without further ado, let’s check out the full patch notes for the latest CS2 update.

BLAST Rivals Season 2 Day 2 Recap

With few surprises from the opening day, Day 2 of the BLAST Rivals went just as fans hoped. Falcons and Furia will pull ahead and book themselves a semi-final berth, while Passion UA, Vitality, Spirit, and paiN will fight it out in the quarter-finals.

Spirit makes quick work of MongolZ

Spirit, having lost against the Falcons on the opening day, faced MongolZ for a spot in the quarter-finals. Starting the series on Dust2, Spirit got back to their winning ways on the map, securing 8 rounds in the first half. MongolZ failing to make things competitive in the second half ensured an effortless early lead for the Russian side. MongolZ showed up with better form in the following map, securing five rounds in the first half alone; however, Spirit pulled ahead in the next half and secured a 2-0 win to make it to the playoffs.

Team Falcons survives PassionUA

A sketchy first half of Train got the Falcons off to a dicey start. While they pushed in a position of lead, the NA side recovered to end the half with a levelled scoreline before switching sides. PassionUA threatened to take away the map at several points in the game, but the Falcons’ individuals proved too strong for them, but not without serious effort. Having lost a close game on Train, PassionUA started Mirage on a better note, racking up seven rounds in the first half. They sent the Falcons into recovery mode for the second half. Having lost the opening two rounds, the Falcons started mounting their comeback and only lost one more round before closing the map with a 13-10 scoreline.

In a match where both teams progress, the Falcons will be heading to the semi-finals while PassionUA books their spot in the Quarters.

paiN outlasts Tyloo

Starting strong on their pick, paiN put Tyloo on the back foot right from the beginning, and keeping up the momentum in the following half, Nuke barely gave them any trouble before hitting a brick wall in the following map. paiN kept the momentum up on Tyloo’s pick of Ancient, closing the first half with an 8-4 scoreline, but a near-flawless streak from Tyloo turned the tide around to level the series and take us to the third map. Having lost the second map, paiN got off to a 6-0 start on Overpass and closed the half having secured 10 rounds. The second half got a little too close for paiN, but they managed to push it over the line and secure a quarter-finals berth in BLAST Rivals Season 2.

Vitality takes revenge on Furia

Covering the force buy to open the series, Furia started strong on Nuke, securing eight rounds on their CT side, only for Vitality to level the scoreline in the second half. Despite starting slow in the following half, Furia managed to put together a few rounds later in the game to edge Vitality out in a game that could have easily gone the other way. The second map of Overpass was yet another close context with regulation failing to separate both teams, but Furia losing out from brisk of a single series point, gave Vitality a lifeline and a shot at the series with the 3rd map. Inferno started poorly for Vitality as Furia steamrolled their defense to win eight rounds on their T side before switching sides. Furia, having converted another force buy, built on its lead to close the game and secure a semi-finals berth, dominating the best team in the world.

An action-packed conclusion of day 2, but without any surprises or major upsets. All of the big names will be in the playoffs, and the arena will be where the real action will unfold.

NetEase Unveils Marvel Rivals Season 5 Twitch Drops

NetEase has officially unveiled an interesting set of Twitch drops to accompany the highly anticipated launch of Marvel Rivals Season 5, continuing a strategic push to engage with the game’s burgeoning competitive community. From November 14, 2025, at 12:00 UTC through December 12, 2025, at 09:00 UTC, the promotional campaign focuses on a phoenix-themed cosmetics collection inspired by Jean Grey’s iconic character transformation.

The rewards structure pays out to dedicated viewers in four distinct cosmetic tiers, each linked to an increasing amount of watch time. Here is a list of all the rewards:

Watch Time RequiredReward NameReward TypeDescription
30 minutesPhoenix – Will of Galacta SpraySprayFiery cosmetic accent for mid-match visual flair
1 hourPhoenix – Will of Galacta NameplateNameplateCosmetic profile customization highlighting community participation
2 hoursPhoenix – Our Worlds EmoteEmoteVictory dance celebration emote with cosmic telekinetic theme

This strategy shows that NetEase is serious about incentivizing viewership across the Twitch ecosystem. To benefit, players will simply need to link their NetEase and Twitch accounts via the official drops website, select their platform of choice-PC, PS5, or Xbox-and tune into any streamer with drops enabled. Content creators such as Necros, Bogur, Jay3, Flats, TimetheTatman, Kayji, Moxy, and Kragie have already been confirmed to air Season 5 from launch day onward, thus ensuring accessibility for diverse tastes of audiences.

This move comes at a pivotal time for the Marvel Rivals esports ecosystem, with Twitch drops joining the fold of core engagement mechanics alongside the recently announced Grand Garden Adventure Battle Pass and rank restructuring. The four-week campaign window gives ample time for casual and hardcore players alike to earn these cosmetics while supporting their favorite content creators, reinforcing community ties that help solidify the title’s long-term competitiveness.

Lara Croft Returns to Fortnite Island After Months Away

The legendary Tomb Raider has finally made her highly anticipated comeback to Fortnite’s Item Shop, giving players a fresh opportunity to add the iconic adventurer to their locker. Starting November 12, 2025, the Lara Croft 2000s skin returns to the digital battlefield for the first time since it was available in the shop back in May 2025.

This version of Lara really captures the spirit of Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, showing off her darker, edgier look of the early 2000s. This skin comes with quite a few style variations: interchangeable pants and shorts, an optional vest, and removable glasses, among others.

Tomb Raider Bundle Details

The full Tomb Raider Bundle is 2,200 V-Bucks for a seriously impressive set of thematic cosmetics. Players will be able to purchase the Lara Croft (2000s) outfit itself for 1,500 V-Bucks, the Tomb Raider’s Satchel back bling, the Chirugai pickaxe, the Atlantean Scion emote, and the Croft Legacy wrap. Vehicle buffs will want to look into the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon x Tomb Raider Bundle: a mud-splattered adventure vehicle with some very unique Tomb Raider decals for 2,000 V-Bucks to use in both Battle Royale and Rocket Racing modes.

The return has generated excitement in the Fortnite community, especially for those players who missed out on the original Lara Croft skin when it was first made available via the Chapter 2, Season 6 Battle Pass back in March 2021. That original version, which came with classic and modern Croft designs, was exclusively available to owners of the Battle Pass and will not be coming back to the shop. This new 2000s one is decidedly different in character model, sporting fresh facial features, hair, and outfit design. This crossover comes hot on the heels of renewed interest in Tomb Raider, thanks to the release of Tomb Raider I-VI Remastered earlier this year. As noted, the bundle will be live in the Item Shop for a rotation period, meaning several days for players to decide if they make the purchase.

BGMI 4.1 Update Adds Frosty Funland, Anamika Horror Mode, and Porsche Supercar

0

Krafton India has rolled out the BGMI 4.1 Update, packing a heavy mix of winter vibes, India-exclusive content, and globally loved game modes. The update goes live ahead of the festive season and introduces Frosty Funland, the Haunted Indian Bride Anamika, the survival-focused Metro Royale, and even a Porsche supercar for high-speed fans.

The Frosty Funland theme turns Erangel into a bright, playful winter map featuring Penguinville, snow villages, mini-events, NPCs, and new tactical tools. Players get access to items like Magic Ice Skates, a Winterland Kar-98K with ice rounds, a Salted Fish Rocket Launcher, and a four-seater Penguin Snowmobile.

One highlight is POWNIN, a Mythical Ninja Penguin companion who can throw shurikens, teleport during clutch moments, and share supplies. He adds a quirky but tactical layer to the update’s theme mode.

Krafton has also introduced Anamika, the Haunted Indian Bride, available as an NPC in Erangel and the HUB. Taking her down gives players horror-themed skins, upgradeable weapons, and KOL voice packs. She can also trigger boss fights with unique abilities and reward tokens.

Metro Royale returns with extraction-based gameplay, seasonal progression, elite bosses, and an upgraded Command Centre system. New players get better onboarding, while veterans get deeper progression and curated weekly missions.

The update rounds out with themed events such as Winter Warfare Exchange Centre, Rocket Exchange Centre, Weekend Grind rewards, and the return of the Mahindra BE6 spin. Players can also test drive the new Porsche supercar for added realism.

Krafton says the new update aims to keep the winter months lively with fresh challenges, story-driven characters, and plenty of seasonal grind.

BGMI CEGC 2025 Grand Finals Smash Rule Explained

Skyesports BGMI CEGC 2025 Grand Finals are set to take place from 14 to 16 November 2025 at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. The Grand Finals will feature an exciting new Smash Rule on the final day. This rule has been introduced to make the championship even more thrilling and unpredictable for the fans. In this article, we’ll explain what the Smash Rule is and how it works simply and easily.

BGMI CEGC 2025 Grand Finals Smash Rule Explained

What is the Smash Rule in BGMI Grand Finals?

The Smash Rule is a special rule added to make the Grand Finals more intense and exciting. It rewards consistency but also gives every top-performing team a fair shot at becoming the champion through a thrilling finish.

How It Works

  • The Grand Finals will have 16 teams playing 18 matches (6 each day).
  • For the first 12 matches, all teams play under normal rules and collect points as usual.
  • After Match 12, officials will calculate the Match Point threshold.

How the Match Point is Set

  • The Match Point is decided based on the Top 1 team’s points after Match 12, plus 10 extra points.

For example:

  • If Team Soul is on top after Match 12 with 140 points,
  • then the Match Point = 140 + 10 = 150 points.

What Happens Next

  • Once Team Soul (or any other team) reaches 150 points, they become “Match Point Eligible.”
  • From that point onwards, they must win a Chicken Dinner (WWCD) to be crowned champions.
  • Other teams can also reach the Match Point mark later and become “eligible” too.

Example with Team Soul

  • Let’s say after Match 13, Team Soul crosses 150 points; they are now Match Point Eligible.
  • If they then win any match after that, say Match 15, they will be declared the Grand Finals Champion, no matter what other teams’ total points are.
  • But if no eligible team wins a Chicken Dinner by the end of Match 18, then the team with the most total points overall will be crowned the winner.

BLAST Rivals Season 2 Day 1 Recap

The last tournament for most teams before they leave to prepare for the Major has kicked off on the highest note, with the Titans securing convincing victories on Day 1 of BLAST Rivals Season 2.

PassionUA shocks MongolZ to kick off the event

MongolZ have been pulling off convincing upsets in a consistent fashion that led to them being feared amongst the elite of Europe, but their opening match in Hong Kong did not go as expected. Underdogs, Passion UA lost the opening map, then secured back-to-back 13:11 scorelines in the following maps, stunned the Asian powerhouse on home soil. The former Complexity line-up playing for Passion is packing some serious punch and can prove to be fatal for teams if taken lightly.

Falcons ease past Spirit in back-to-back events

Having faced a few days back in IEM Chengdu, Spirit failed to secure a single map against Falcons once again. NiKo proving to be the kryptonite of donk in back-to-back series with Kyosuke and m0NESY dropping the big numbers, Spirit pulled up against Falcons in similar maps, but went home empty-handed. The CIS side did manage to push Falcons to overtime in Dust2, but stood no chance against them in Nuke as the latter secured a playoff spot with a 2-0 scoreline.

Brazilian derby goes FURIA’s way

Start the series with paiN proving dominant on Nuke, FURIA took to the second map to go back to their winning ways. Having lost the opening map, falleN and team hit back hard on Overpass to level the scoreline in the series. The final map of Mirage is where both teams traded blows for blows until the very end, where FURIA snatched a win to book their spot in the next round of play over paiN. Yuurih and Molodoy topped the charts, and their firepower stood out as the key difference-maker across the final two maps to see FURIA through.

Vitality stomp Tyloo

Home favourites Tyloo became the unlucky team to face the world number 1 in Vitality on the opening day, and the result was brutal but expected. Tyloo’s pick Overpass saw the Chinese side manage no more than 2 rounds as Vitality’s defence casually picked up 10 with little effort. Vitality closed the map without losing a single round in the second half before continuing their domination on Nuke. Tyloo managed 4 rounds, that’s 2 more than the previous map, but that was it. Vitality were the better team by a big margin, as the scoreline would say.

Next Round of Play

Group A

  • Upper Bracket Finals (10:00 AM IST): Falcons vs PassionUA
  • Lower Bracket Finals (07:30 AM IST): Spirit vs MongolZ

Group B

  • Upper Bracket Finals (15:00 PM IST): Vitality vs FURIA
  • Lower Bracket Finals (12:30 PM IST): paiN vs Tyloo

Given the teams playing in this event, it is hard to predict a winner, given that FURIA have emerged as strong contenders, with Falcons aiming for nothing less than the trophy, and Vitality looking to keep their place as the best team in the world. The opening day results went as expected, more or less, but OG CS fans know better than to judge teams based on the first day of a tournament.
