How to Refund Gifts in Fortnite

Gifted a skin to the wrong person, or perhaps gave a skin to a “friend” who turned out to be not so friendly? Unlike in other Item Shops, the return of gifts within Fortnite has a much tougher set of rules, but don’t worry, there are legitimate means for you to get back your V-Bucks.

The policy clearly states that gifts are not refundable under normal conditions. As a giver, you cannot ask for a refund. These conditions have one important exception. If the giver declines to accept the gift before accepting it, then V-Bucks are refunded to your payment option.

You simply return unwanted gifts that you have not used. Refusing an unused gift initiates an immediate refund to the sender’s payment source without requiring help from support. This is the easiest way to handle unused cosmetics.

While refunds from the actual sender are not allowed, players have managed to successfully contact Epic Games customer service using the in-game bug submission tool or customer service. The most frequently advised procedure includes submitting an error report indicating that the gift had been sent to the wrong account due to a technical glitch. To successfully submit your issue, include information about the person you are submitting for.

Epic Games has been observing refund transactions and has measures in place against abuse. For this purpose, some limitations are imposed on accounts showing high refund transactions, especially on accounts using gifts as a refund method. Repeated refund requests for non-acidental gifts mean that Epic Games might cancel future refund requests.

The best-case scenario for refunds is still for the recipient to reject the gift. For persons sending refunds through support, being truthful about mistakes is an improvement in approval chances.

How to Download Fortnite on Chromebook

Fortnite is not supported natively on Chromebooks, making it extremely difficult to run the game as we usually do on Windows PCs or consoles. That being said, it is difficult to run the game, but not impossible, as there are two known workarounds if you are determined to play the game on a Chromebook.

It goes without saying that Chromebooks aren’t designed with gamers in mind, making them a poor choice if you are looking for a portable gaming machine. Built for productivity, Chromebooks’ limited support for games often gives a highly undesirable gaming experience, especially for games that aren’t natively supported on Google’s OS. Here’s how you can enjoy Fortnite on a Chromebook despite its lack of native support.

Cloud Gaming

Cloud Gaming has been a revolutionary technology for the gaming industry, as it has rendered the need for well-equipped gaming systems partially useless. Having the game running on a remote server proves to be a handy way to run the game on a platform that doesn’t have native support.

  • Open Google Chrome on your Chromebook.
  • Go to a cloud gaming service that supports Fortnite, such as NVIDIA GeForce NOW or Xbox Cloud Gaming.
  • Create an account or sign in.
  • Link your Epic Games account when prompted.
  • Launch Fortnite directly from the browser.

There are a few upsides to it if you can afford to pay for Cloud Gaming services, one of them being the storage space you save by not having the game files stored on your local drive. The experience of a competitive game will be far from ideal with the high latency, but at least it becomes playable.

Fortnite Android App

This may not be a universal solution for Chromebooks, given that not all of them support this app. If your Chromebook supports it, you can download the official Android version of Fortnite through the Google Play Store and enjoy it on your Chromebook. Point to be noted that the game would not be running with the highest frames possible, making the experience far from ideal.

Unfortunately for Chromebook owners, Fortnite is not natively supported on the platform, making workarounds the only way possible for them to be able to play it. Word of advice, getting a PC or a console drastically improves the experience of the game, and unless you are a casual player, Chromebooks can be a decent alternative.

Where to Find Cooling Coils in Arc Raiders

Despite being a blue-rarity loot, Cooling Coils in Arc Raiders can be quite tricky to find consistently, especially if you don’t know where to look.

Luckily, there are certain spots in Arc Raiders where these Cooling Coils are found abundantly, regardless of the map that you’re playing.

Whether you’re looking for Cooling Coils to complete your Arc Raiders Expedition or just need them to recycle for valuable resources, you’ve come to the right place.

In this article, we’ll showcase the best spots in all the maps to get Cooling Coils in Arc Raiders.

Arc Raiders Cooling Coils Location

To find Cooling Coils in Arc Raiders, you’ll have to head to any of the Industrial areas in the game. These areas are generally marked on your map with an industrial icon.

If you’re still having difficulties locating these items, we’ve listed the specific locations you can visit for the highest odds of obtaining Cooling Coils below:

Dam Battlegrounds

  • Power Generation Complex
  • Hydroponic Dome Complex
  • Water Treatment Control

If you want to avoid PvP, you can also head to the Scrap Yard located towards the south of the map and try your luck there.

Blue Gate

  • Warehouse Complex
  • Adorned Wreckage

You can also find Cooling Coils in parts of the underground section of the map, but it’s easy to run into other Raiders there, so we recommend sticking to the surface if you’re not armed for PvP.

Spaceport

  • Container Storage
  • Rocket Assembly
  • Vehicle Maintenance
  • Shipping Warehouse

Buried City

While it’s not impossible to find Cooling Coils in Buried City, it’s by far the worst map to find Industrial loot. We’d recommend avoiding this map if you’re looking to get Cooling Coils, but if you find yourself in it, try checking the Outskirts towards the top-left side of the map.

That’s everything you need to know about where to find Cooling Coils in Arc Raiders. Be sure to check out our detailed Expedition guide for more information on what you need for your first wipe.

Didn’t Get the Free Fire Activation Code? Here’s What You Can Do

If you’re unable to get a code, there’s no need to worry. The official Free Fire OB52 update is expected to roll out by the end of October 2025. Once released, players can download the update directly from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and enjoy all the new features without needing an Advance Server login.

The Activation Code is a unique login key required to enter the Advance Server. These codes are limited in number and are provided only to selected players. Garena releases them before launching the Advance Server so players can test new features, identify bugs, and report glitches. This helps developers fix issues and improve game performance before the official update goes live.
