Clash of Clans Unleash the Duke Day 3 Rewards Revealed

0

The global community rescue mission is in full swing as we enter the third stage of the dungeon. Just like the previous days, fresh spoilers from the r/ClashOfClansLeaks subreddit have already popped up, giving us a look at the Clash of Clans Unleash the Duke rewards for Day 3.

As players worldwide continue to pour Dark Elixir into the collective goal to free the Dragon Duke, the rewards behind the three mysterious doors are getting even more interesting. Remember, you only get one shot at these rewards per day, so choose the door that best fits your current village needs!

Clash of Clans Unleash the Duke Day 3 Door-wise Rewards Options

The leaked Day 3 rewards offer a perfect mix of RNG excitement, guaranteed event currency, and laboratory speed. Here is exactly what you can expect to find behind each door:

  • Door 1: 3x Treasure Chests If you haven’t had enough of the “treasure hunt” vibe, Door 1 is for you. These three chests can contain anything from common resources and decorations to high-value ores for your Blacksmith.
  • Door 2: 200 Medal Event Currency (Grumpy Medals) For those who want to avoid the luck of the draw, Door 2 provides a guaranteed 200 Grumpy Medals. This is the ideal choice if you are saving up for a specific, high-cost item in the event shop.
  • Door 3: 2x Study Soup (Magic Snack) Focused on your Laboratory? Door 3 contains two “Study Soups.” These magic snacks provide a temporary speed boost to your Laboratory research, helping you knock out those long troop or spell upgrades much faster.

Reaching the Day 3 Milestone

To unlock these Clash of Clans Unleash the Duke rewards, the community must reach the next major Dark Elixir milestone. The leaked screenshots show that the goal for Day 3 is set at a staggering 1,000 billion (1 Trillion) Dark Elixir.

Once that bar at the bottom of the screen hits 1.000B, the locks on the Day 3 doors will vanish, allowing every eligible player (Town Hall 6 and above) to claim their prize. However, just like the previous days, there is a limited time to claim your reward before the journey moves on to Day 4.

BGIS 2026 Quarter Finals: Group A Matches Cancelled After Official Replacement Decision

The first day of the BGIS 2026 Quarter Finals turned out to be full of unexpected drama. Group A and Group B had already completed their three matches each, and everything was going according to schedule. However, an official notice from KRAFTON suddenly changed the entire situation. Here is a simple breakdown of what exactly happened.

Why Group A Matches Were Cancelled in BGIS 2026 Quarter Finals?

Even before the Quarter Finals matches began, Team Avanza was disqualified for violating Rule 6.3.13 during Round 4. In Round 4 Group 6, Avanza had finished in 6th position. As per the format, the top 7 teams from the group qualified for the Quarter Finals.

Technically, Avanza had secured their spot. But after the disqualification, their slot became vacant.

Logically, the next eligible team should have replaced them. In Group 6, 7ACESxTRB Esports had finished in 8th position. According to tournament rules, they were the rightful replacement.

Confusion Begins: BTD Added Instead of 7ACESxTRB

When Quarter Finals matches started, fans noticed something surprising. Instead of 7ACESxTRB Esports, BTD was added to the lobby in Avanza’s place.

BTD even played all three matches of the day and managed to score 12 points. Everything seemed normal at first, as both Group A and Group B completed their scheduled matches.

But soon after, another official notice was released.

Official Notice: 7ACESxTRB Esports to Replace Avanza, Group A Matches Cancelled

In the new statement, KRAFTON clarified that after Avanza’s disqualification, the next eligible team, 7ACESxTRB Esports, would officially advance to the Quarter Finals.

At the same time, it was announced that all three matches of Group A played earlier would be rehosted. This means the previous results of Group A will not be counted. The matches will be replayed with 7ACESxTRB Esports in the lobby.

In simple words, Group A gets a complete reset and a fresh start.

This rehost decision brings major pressure for teams that performed well on Day 1.

Autobotz Esports had topped the table with 37 points, while Team Tamilas secured 32 points and looked strong for a Semi Finals push. With momentum on their side, these teams were in a comfortable position.

However, in a battle royale game like BGMI, consistency is extremely difficult. A small mistake, bad zone shift, or early elimination can completely change results. Now these teams must replay the same matches where they previously dominated, without any guarantee of repeating that performance.

On the other hand, teams that struggled in the initial three matches now get a second opportunity. The rehost gives them a fresh chance to correct their mistakes and climb the points table.

With 64 teams competing in the Quarter Finals and only 16 teams moving directly to the Semi Finals, the competition is already intense. The rehost adds even more unpredictability to the tournament.

Why Was BTD Initially Added?

The biggest unanswered question remains: if 7ACESxTRB Esports was the rightful replacement, why was BTD initially added to the lobby?

The official notice did not explain this detail. It is still unclear whether it was an administrative error, communication gap, or technical issue. Fans are now waiting for further clarification.

How Long Is Resident Evil Requiem

The latest iteration of popular horror series Resident Evil Requiem is set to launch today, and like every AAA title, one of the questions that lies in the mind of players is: How Long Will The New Game be? Horror games are generally fast-paced because the run-time of a game helps set a perception of the depth of the game’s storyline, which plays an important role in building the anticipation.

Main Story: Estimated Playtime

The campaign is said to be substantially longer than the previous iterations of the game. Reputed sources have asserted that Resident Evil Requiem will have a longer but standard playthrough with balanced story progression and map exploration that should take somewhere between 12 and 16 hours for most players.

This range reflects different playstyles:

  • Quick story-focused run: ~9–12 hours
  • Average balanced playthrough: ~12–14 hours
  • Extended exploration or optional objectives: ~15–16 hours

Several sources have compared Resident Evil Requiem to Resident Evil 4 Remake, a game that is touted for its generous run-time, and many believe it to be one of the best releases from the house. Some of the more recent versions of the game have disappointed in terms of pace and length, but this one seems to have addressed all the criticisms.

Completionist & Rapid Runs

Horror games are often enjoyed by exploring the world, finding all the collectibles and they often come with tons of optional bonus missions, which play a significant role in building the storyline. However, having too much content can often lead to players losing touch with the main story, which can make the game feel dragged. Taking time to explore the new world can take somewhere up to 40 hours making the game very generous in terms of content.

Conversely, gamers often like to speedrun titles like this, which can dramatically reduce the runtime of the game. Some suggest that a focused attempt at playing only the main storyline can make the game as short as 9 hours, which is still quite long to make its hefty price tag worth it.

New York Attorney General Sues Valve Over Loot Boxes in CS2, DOTA 2, and TF2

New York State Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit against Valve on February 25, 2026, accusing the company of illegally promoting gambling among children and teenagers through paid keys that can be used to open cosmetic items in popular games like Counter-Strike 2, DOTA 2, or Team Fortress 2.

“Valve, a video game developer, has made billions of dollars by letting children and adults illegally gamble for the chance to win valuable virtual prizes,” James said in an X post. “These features are addictive and harmful.”

The lawsuit alleges that Valve’s case-opening mechanics, which require players to purchase keys for a chance to obtain rare in-game cosmetics, function as unregulated gambling systems, given the real-world monetary value attached to certain high-tier skins on third-party markets. By allowing minors to participate in these systems, the complaint argues, the company has blurred the line between entertainment and gambling while reaping billions in revenue.

The filing comes only a few days after Valve secured a legal victory against patent troll Leigh Rothschild, highlighting the growing legal pressure around one of the gaming industry’s biggest names.

In the lawsuit, James demands to “permanently stop Valve from continuing to promote illegal gambling in its games” as well as to “pay disgorgement and fines.”

Community Reaction

The Letitia James lawsuit against Valve has drawn mixed reactions from the gaming community.

Across various social media forums, some players argued across social media forums that loot boxes have long resembled gambling and that stronger regulation is overdue. However, many gamers also came to Valve’s defense, maintaining that the case-opening system is entirely optional, with disclosed odds and is only attached to cosmetic rewards rather than gameplay advantages.

Others pointed out that skin prices in CS2 and other Valve titles are largely driven by player demand and are not direct cash payouts from the company itself.

Some also noted that CS2 carries a Mature rating and that Steam includes parental control tools, arguing that minors accessing these systems ultimately reflects parental supervision decisions rather than corporate intent.

Valve has yet to issue a public statement regarding this lawsuit at the time of writing.

ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 1 Opening Matchups Revealed

The highly anticipated ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 1 is set to start on March 1, 2026, kicking off a full month of Counter-Strike 2 action, and we finally have the opening day matches. Replicating the format from other premier events, every team will find itself in the Swiss format with 16 teams vying for advancement.

The opening stage may not have many big names, but we are blessed with some interesting storylines and intense matches that will definitely serve as a hot starter for the event. Filling out Stage 2 will be teams that, on their day can be quite threatening, with some of them already proving themselves against the top sides earlier this year.

PARIVISION, for one, has picked up trophies to kick off the year, followed by deep runs in every event. Joining them will be the likes of G2, 3DMAX, and paiN, who will definitely be the teams to keep your eyes on. Astralis, NiP, FUT, and Heroic also find themselves in Stage 1, and while all of these teams can go through on their day, it will be interesting to see who stands the test of a brutal Swiss Bracket.

Vitality, Falcons skipping this event has cleared the field for many teams that previously had difficulty competing against these sides. Teams like Spirit, MOUZ, and FURIA now pose as the strongest contenders for this event, and only time can tell if they can profit from the absence of Vitality and Falcons. Following the conclusion of PGL Cluj-Napoca, several questions were left unanswered for all the teams except Vitality. At Pro League, they have the opportunity to silence their critics.

How To Play Resident Evil Requiem Early With The New Zealand Trick

Resident Evil Requiem will be released worldwide on February 27, 2026, but the consoles will unlock at midnight in each region. Since New Zealand gets to this date first, Xbox and PlayStation users can usually get into the game hours before the release in their region.

In this article, we will explain how you can play Resident Evil Requiem at the earliest possible time using the New Zealand trick.

What is The New Zealand Trick

The majority of console releases for Requiem are based on the local calendar date of the console store and not on the global clock. By changing the region of your console to New Zealand, you are essentially telling the store that you are in the earliest time zone, allowing the game to unlock first.

The PC version of Capcom’s game on Steam has a unified server unlock time, and thus, you cannot get early access by changing the region of your PC or the time on your system. Moreover, there is no guarantee that the trick will work on all platforms and all launches, and thus, you must do everything at your own risk because the publishers may change their policies anytime. Apart from that, the New Zealand trick doesn’t work on Nintendo Switch 2.

How To Play Resident Evil Requiem Early Using the New Zealand Trick

Follow the steps mentioned below to successfully play the game as early as possible:

  • Preload or purchase Resident Evil Requiem on your usual Xbox account as normal.
  • On your Xbox, open Settings → System → Language & Location.
  • Change Location to New Zealand, then restart the console to apply the change.
  • Once New Zealand has reached release day, launch the game.
  • It should boot without the “too early” message.

On PlayStation, simply changing the time on the console will not work, as the store is interested in your account’s region, not the time of day. To replicate the NZ trick, you will usually need a New Zealand PSN account and, if a linked publisher account is used (such as Activision with Call of Duty), to enter that account’s address as being in New Zealand as well. Therefore, Xbox is the only platform where you can use the trick to play the game early.

Changing regions can cause issues with payment options, region pricing, and DLC support, and you may find that you need to change back to your original region for playing other games. While there have been no reports of a ban solely for using the NZ trick, it is still an unofficial method of getting around the region restrictions, and you should only use it if you are happy with the potential consequences.

DreamHack Atlanta 2026 Set to Host IEM and Call of Duty League Major in Landmark U.S. Festival

0

DreamHack will return to Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center from May 15–17, 2026, marking what organizers describe as the largest edition of the festival to date. The event will be DreamHack’s only U.S. stop in 2026 and its eighth year in Atlanta, more than any other city in the country.

Organized by ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), DreamHack Atlanta 2026 will feature two major esports tournaments under one roof: the first-ever Intel® Extreme Masters (IEM) Atlanta for Counter-Strike 2 and Major III of the 2026 Call of Duty League® season.

The timing is notable. Just weeks after DreamHack concludes, Atlanta will host matches for the FIFA World Cup 2026, further positioning the city as a major global destination for international sporting and entertainment events.

IEM Atlanta Brings $1 Million Counter-Strike Event to Georgia

For the first time, Intel® Extreme Masters will be held in Atlanta, bringing one of the most prestigious Counter-Strike 2 competitions in the world to the Southeastern United States.

The final three days of the tournament will be played in front of a live audience, with elite international teams competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool and points toward the ESL Grand Slam. Marc Winther, Director of Esports – Counter-Strike at ESL FACEIT Group, described the move as a milestone moment for the region’s esports ecosystem, citing Atlanta’s established gaming community and event infrastructure.

IEM Atlanta adds another major U.S. destination to the global Counter-Strike calendar, as North American fans continue to see renewed investment in high-tier CS2 competition.

Call of Duty League Major III Heads to Atlanta

DreamHack Atlanta will also host Major III of the 2026 Call of Duty League season. All 12 CDL teams will compete alongside four amateur squads as they battle for crucial points toward Championship Weekend in Las Vegas.

The Atlanta stop follows Major II, which will be held at DreamHack Birmingham in the UK, reflecting a growing crossover between DreamHack festivals and premier league tournaments. The inclusion of a CDL Major reinforces Atlanta’s growing status as a consistent host city for top-tier esports events.

Festival Experience Expands Beyond Esports

While esports remains central, DreamHack Atlanta 2026 will continue its broader gaming lifestyle festival format.

Attendees can expect:

  • Open esports tournaments
  • Cosplay competitions
  • Appearances from content creators and voice actors
  • Indie game showcases
  • Freeplay and arcade gaming
  • Artist Alley
  • Live stage entertainment
  • Brand activations and immersive experiences
  • Family-friendly programming

In 2025, DreamHack Atlanta drew visitors from all 50 U.S. states and 61 countries, highlighting the festival’s international appeal.

Atlanta’s Growing Role in Global Esports

With IEM, CDL Major III, and the upcoming FIFA World Cup matches all landing in 2026, Atlanta continues to build its profile as a multi-industry entertainment hub.

DreamHack’s decision to make Atlanta its sole U.S. stop in 2026 underscores the city’s importance within the North American esports landscape. As large-scale esports events increasingly require stable infrastructure, international accessibility, and established fanbases, cities like Atlanta are becoming recurring anchors in the global tournament calendar.

Tickets for DreamHack Atlanta 2026 are currently available via the official DreamHack website and include access to both festival programming and headline esports events.

Supercell Unveils Amendments to Clash of Clans Gold Pass 2.0 Revamp

0

Following the initial announcement of the “Gold Pass 2.0” (the new Season Challenges system), the Clash of Clans community voiced concerns regarding the speed of progression. Specifically, players were worried that moving to a “stamp card” system would delay access to vital 10% and 20% boosts.

In a rare proactive move, Supercell has already announced several amendments to the Clash of Clans Gold Pass 2.0 revamp before its March 1st launch. Here is everything you need to know about how they’ve fixed the Gold Pass update.

Key Amendments to the Clash of Clans Gold Pass 2.0 Revamp

Following are the key amendments to the Gold Pass 2.0 revamp:

Clash of Clans Gold Pass 2.0 Revamp Will Allow Faster Day-One Progression

One of the biggest complaints was that the new system felt slower than the previous weekly challenges. To fix this, Supercell is increasing the number of starting task cards. Instead of the three cards originally planned, players will now start the season with four task cards. This change effectively moves your progression forward by a full day, allowing you to hit those high-value milestones much earlier.

Unlocking Boosts Sooner

The most critical change involves the placement of the Builder and Research boosts. Under the initial 2.0 plan, players wouldn’t reach these boosts until much later in the week. The updated track now places them right at the beginning:

  • 10% Research Boost: Moved from 180 points to just 25 points.
  • 10% Builder Boost: Moved from 240 points to just 50 points.

With four task cards available on day one, you can now unlock both of these 10% boosts immediately. This ensures you don’t have to sit on your Season Bank loot for days while waiting for a discount.

Higher-Tier Boost Adjustments

The improvements continue further down the track. The 15% Builder Boost, which was originally slated for the 900-point mark, has been moved up to 750 points. This means active players can now unlock the 15% tier by Day 3 of the season, rather than waiting until Day 7.

Better Customization and Rewards

The amendment to Clash of Clans Gold Pass 2.0 revamp revamp isn’t just about speed; it’s about choice. The new “Choice Nodes” allow you to pick the rewards that best suit your current needs. For example, if you have full Gold but need Elixir, you can choose two Runes of Elixir instead of being forced to take one of each.

For free-to-play players, the update adds chests to the bottom track. These chests offer a chance to obtain more predictable “Ores” for hero equipment and even the possibility of pulling hero skins, providing significantly more value than the previous system’s basic rewards.

When Does Gold Pass 2.0 Revamp Go Live?

The amendments to Clash of Clans Gold Pass 2.0 revamp are set to implement with the March 1, 2026, season. While Supercell is calling this the “Season Challenges” update, the community has dubbed it Gold Pass 2.0 due to the total overhaul of how we interact with the monthly pass.

CS2 February 26 Update Brings Several Improvements to Map Scripting

Valve has shipped out a new update to Counter-Strike 2 on February 26, and while it isn’t a major update that fans have been hoping for, it does bring with it some improvements to map scripting alongside a minor change for map guides.

For starters, workshop maps in CS2 can now save and load data to and from Steam Cloud servers, with save files taking up to a maximum of 1 MB. This, alongside a number of aspects related to map scripting, was already existent back in CS:GO, but was removed from the game when it got upgraded to CS2.

There are also a number of new improvements to scripting that let maps modify instances of damage dealt to players and let maps read player inputs on their keyboard.

Lastly, there’s a tiny change to map guides, with guides for Ancient now being usable on the night version of the map and vice versa.
