CS2 Pro Jkaem Accused of Gambling $11K Borrowed Skins During Paris Major

0

Professional CS2 player Joakim ‘Jkaem‘ Myrbostad has been accused of gambling and losing borrowed skins worth $11,000 during the Paris Major in 2023.

A series of allegations has surfaced on Twitter by a user going by the name Erlsan. He has claimed that he lent Jkaem CS skins worth $11,000 during the Paris Major which took place in March of 2023. Instead of returning them, Jkaem has gambled with said skins and has been finding ways to evade paying him back.

“In March 2023 I lent out skins to Jkaem to play with during the Paris major,” he said. “Months later, he had gambled my skins away. After a year of excuses, lies and deceits, I have no choice left but to go public with this.” said Erslan.

Jkaem responds to allegations:

In a cryptic post, Jkaem indirectly admitted to these allegations and has promised to work with his current organisation to pay back the amount that is owed. He said: “Together with BC team, we are sitting down and taking this very seriously.

“They want to help me fix the damage I have caused to everyone involved. I am being honest and open with them about my issues and how we have ended here.” he added.

Despite Jkaem revealing his actions, the organisation has yet to comment on the matter. The Norwegian has been around the scene for a very long time and has been a reputed name in the community, these allegations will definitely tarnish his name moving forward.

Now that he has promised to pay back, it is likely that Erslan will get his money back after such a public fallout. One thing to consider here, if Ersland does get his money back, it has been two years and CS2 skins appreciate in value which begs the question if Jkaem is willing to pay the surplus.

GTA 6 October 2025 Release Date Hoax Exposed as Fake Game Informer Report

0

Misinformation has once again taken over the Grand Theft Auto community, as a fake Game Informer report falsely claiming an October 2025 release for GTA 6 gained traction across social media. The now-debunked leak misled many fans before being called out as a hoax.

The viral tweet, which implied Game Informer had confirmed the release window, quickly stirred excitement – but savvy fans were quick to investigate. Upon reviewing Game Informer’s official website, users found no mention of a release date. As frustration mounts over ongoing rumor cycles, many are demanding accountability from those spreading false news.

GTA 6 Fans No Longer Falling for False Leaks

This fake report is only the latest in a long series of misleading claims regarding Rockstar’s highly anticipated title. Following the release of GTA 6’s first trailer in December 2023, speculation has been rampant – with false promises of a March 25 “Trailer 2” date recently falling flat.

In this latest case, many in the community spoke out immediately:

  • I’m on Game Informer’s site right now and nothing remotely close to this has been posted,” one user wrote.
  • Another posted, “It’s TBA, enough of the clickbait 🤡 nobody is falling for it.”
  • “This is misleading. Nowhere does it say this. GTA VI is in the list of games ‘to be announced.’”

These reactions reflect growing exhaustion among fans, who now urge others to verify sources before sharing any claims.

The Role of Engagement Farming in Misinformation

Social media remains fertile ground for viral, unverified content. Fans suspect many of these leaks are crafted solely to generate engagement, not to inform. With Rockstar maintaining strict silence on the next trailer or official release date, opportunists are filling the gap with sensationalized, false updates.

Unfortunately, these stunts continue to erode trust and deepen fan fatigue. But with the community growing more vigilant, fewer are falling for fabricated leaks.

What’s Next for GTA 6?

As of now, Rockstar Games has not announced any official GTA 6 release date or second trailer. Fans will have to wait for verified information, and until then, expect more rumors to surface- and more fans ready to challenge them.

NetEase Games has officially added a new limited-time cosmetic to Marvel Rivals — the Hyper Orange costume for Venom. This striking outfit features a fiery orange palette with white highlights, giving the iconic anti-hero a bold visual twist. It’s available starting March 27, 2025, at 7 PM PDT, through the in-game store.

How to Unlock Hyper Orange Venom Costume

Players can purchase the costume directly from the game’s store. While the exact cost isn’t officially confirmed, it is expected to be priced at 2,200 Units, which roughly converts to $21.96. The bundle isn’t just a cosmetic add-on — it includes a variety of in-game items:

  • Snag sprays
  • Name tags
  • Chrono Tokens
  • A Costume Coin

The inclusion of the Costume Coin introduces a fresh gameplay mechanic.

Introducing the “Pick-Up Bundle” Feature

A major highlight with this release is the new Pick-Up Bundle system launching on March 28, 2025. Players who purchase the Hyper Orange Venom costume will receive a Costume Coin, which they can use in the Exchange section of the store.

This coin allows players to permanently unlock another costume bundle of their choice, effectively letting them double-dip into the game’s cosmetic offerings. It’s a smart move by NetEase to increase player engagement while rewarding purchases with added value.

Limited-Time Availability – Don’t Miss Out

The Hyper Orange Venom costume will be up for grabs only for a limited window, though the exact duration hasn’t been confirmed. Given the popularity of limited skins in Marvel Rivals, players are encouraged to act quickly.

This release also comes at a time when Marvel Rivals is rolling out multiple updates, including two new skins, Easter eggs, and quality-of-life improvements. With the introduction of Pick-Up Bundles and ongoing community engagement, NetEase is clearly doubling down on player experience.

Sabrina Carpenter Fortnite Skin Release Date Confirmed

0

Sabrina Carpenter is officially joining the Fortnite Icon Series, and fans won’t have to wait long to unlock her exclusive cosmetics. Epic Games has confirmed that Carpenter’s Fortnite skin will be available starting April 8, 2025 – just weeks away.

The announcement follows a teaser shared by popular Fortnite leaker HYPEX, along with in-game Easter eggs hinting at the pop star’s debut.

Dual Skins and Music Festival Headline Performance

This collaboration goes beyond a single skin. Carpenter will headline the next Fortnite Festival, the game’s music-themed mode that features live performances and music passes.

As part of the event, players can unlock two unique Sabrina Carpenter skins:

  • One skin will be part of the Premium Music Pass, accessible through gameplay.
  • The second skin will be available in the Item Shop, purchasable with V-Bucks.

The Music Pass also includes exclusive emotes and cosmetic items, likely themed around Sabrina’s recent performances and personal style.

What Will the Skins Look Like?

While Epic Games hasn’t released full visuals of the skins yet, fans can expect signature Carpenter aesthetics. Past Icon Series skins have closely reflected each celebrity’s real-life fashion and personality, so Sabrina’s could include looks from her hit singles or tour appearances.

If history is any guide, Fortnite will go all-out with the details – think reactive clothing, music-reactive emotes, and even possible lobby tracks.

Where to Get the Sabrina Carpenter Skins

To get both skins:

  • Purchase the Premium Music Pass during the Fortnite Festival to unlock one skin and related cosmetics.
  • Visit the Item Shop on or after April 8 to purchase the second skin directly.

This event is expected to be part of a broader push by Epic Games to expand Fortnite’s music and culture ecosystem, with Sabrina Carpenter becoming the latest celebrity to bridge pop culture and gaming.

The Sabrina Carpenter x Fortnite collaboration marks another milestone for the game’s ever-expanding universe. With a new concert, dual skins, and exclusive items, it’s set to be one of the most exciting additions to the Icon Series this season.
