GTA Trilogy Definitive Editon Pulled Down From Rockstar Store

Today was supposed to be the launch day of the much-awaited GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition but instead of launch, the game has been pulled down from the store.

Due to the Rockstar Game Launcher locking out in the morning due to some internal issues players were unable to play any game on the launcher. While the services were down, the players were already raging on social media asking, “how can a million-dollar company handle a game launch so badly?” 

Many people also tweeted out asking the developer to publish the game on Steam as the Rockstar Game Launcher even failed to launch other games in the library.

Rockstar Support quickly tweeted out saying that “Services for the Rockstar Games Launcher and supported titles are temporarily offline for maintenance,” read the tweet. “Services will return as soon as the maintenance is completed.”

While the servers were down, some people started digging around the data files of the game and found out that the GTA Trilogy still contained “missing music” and “holy grail” dev notes. 

PC players have been unable to play the game since the Launcher went down (17 Hours ago) and now the purchase of the game has also been locked until Rockstar fixes the “supposed issue”. This might also be the reason why Rockstar instantly pulled down the servers and said “servers down for maintenance”. 

At the time of writing, the Rockstar Game Launcher is still down for “maintenance”.

Felix Lengyel aka xQc knows a thing or two about content creation and has put his wisdom in use to warn YouTube against their decision to remove the dislike button which according to them has evolved into a medium for bullying and harassment.

Anyone who has been using YouTube is familiar with “dislike attacks”, where fanbases often flock to the videos of a rival YouTuber and dislike their videos. As wrong as it sounds, we can’t argue against xQc, that this is one of the most essential features of the platform.

The announcement from YouTube sent shockwaves through the community and greatly divided it into two major schools of thought. Some believe that this would be a step towards fighting bullying and harassment on the platform while others who lean with xQc see this as a big mistake.

“This just isn’t it,” “If you stand for dogsh*t values, you’re an asshat, you say bullsh*t in your videos, why should you,” he said.

“If you take away this system, anyone can come in, and say anything. Whenever a corporation or brand comes out with a disgusting, trash video that is full of evil things that they’re promoting, they’ll still have a perfect 100% like ratio,” he added.

Even though the dislike button has grown into a major part of the YouTube ecosystem, the pros and cons of it cannot be weighed with debates across online forums. The change is imminent and we have to wait and see how it plays out when YouTube rolls out this update.

PUBG: New State released, check minimum system requirements for Android and iOS

Finally, PUBG New State is released worldwide, a futuristic style multiplayer online battle royale video game developed by KRAFTON. The game is somewhat similar to the world-famous battle royale game PUBG Mobile. The game is set in the future (the year 2051) where players will battle on a new battlefield with futuristic weapons and vehicles. The game was announced earlier this year and had already amassed over 40 million pre-registrations on Android and iOS.

The game has Ultra-realistic graphics that exceed the limits of mobile gaming with the “global illumination” technology. It has more realistic and dynamic gunplay which is fully optimized for the mobile environment. The players could customize the guns to fit the needs with PUBG’s unique weapon attachment system.

PUBG New State Release Time

PUBG New State was globally available to download for Android and iOS from 9:30 AM IST. Although, the game was available to download before the release time. Players who have pre-registered for the game will receive exclusive rewards, including a limited vehicle skin.

Minimum System Requirements

The phone need to have Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher, a 64-bit processor (any new-generation processor from Qualcomm, MediaTek, Exynos, or Unisoc), and at least 2GB of RAM, PUBG: New State will be supported.

The players need to have iOS 13.0 or later on your iPhone and iPod touch, iPadOS 13.0 or later on your iPad. The game’s size is 1.5GB, according to the App Store listing, so make sure your iPhone has enough space.

Milan Švejda aka Striker, the Editor-in-chief of HLTV, addresses the reports suggesting the SK-Luminosity core reunion might be a bad idea.

The entire CSGO community felt excited when reports of Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo and Marcelo “coldzera” David joining forces for a new Brazilian project broke out. The fans of the pair quickly jumped in at the idea of the highly successful SK-Luminosity getting back together, but Svejda did not share that school of thought. In his piece, Striker thoroughly goes point by point as to why this big reunion might fall flat and fans should not be as excited as they are.

According to reports, FalleN and coldzera will be joined by Fernando “⁠fer⁠” Alvarenga and Lincoln “⁠fnx⁠” Lau with whom they enjoyed their most successful years. On paper, this might look like a dream reunion, but the reality is far from it. Besides coldzera and FalleN who looked questionable in terms of their form in recent years, fer and fnx are well past their primes and even with a young upstart in their team, it is hard to imagine them getting back to a level where they are a threat to the top teams.

“FalleN and coldzera have managed to stay relevant at the top, but both have been shadows of their former selves on an individual level in recent years after hitting their peak form in 2016-2017. fer has only declined since the best years of Brazilian CS as well, and he hasn’t even played in the biggest tournaments since 2020, while fnx last appeared at a big event three and a half years ago.” read the article.

As Striker pointed out, legendary rosters getting back never worked out in the history of the game and for this line-up to work out will take something absolutely special, or this might turn out to be another Dignitas.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is slowly losing its spark within the Indian Gaming Community. The major reason behind this downfall is the increasing number of hackers and cheaters entering the game. These culprits have destroyed the fun of the game and have compelled everyone to stop playing the games. Many YouTube streamers and content creators have stopped streaming the game after getting killed by the hackers during the live streams.

To counter this issue, Kraton has announced some strict changes in its policies which would help them to keep the game clean. They wrote, “Dear BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA fans, At the end of September, we promised you that fair gameplay has always been and will be our priority. Today, we have some good news for you.

Cheaters have no place in BGMI and in order to provide a fair gameplay environment to our players, we’ve been taking severe measures to remove cheaters from the game. Yes, we are aware that many players ran into cheaters even after we made our previous announcement on Sep 30th. We now have cleaned out most of the cheaters in the game, making BGMI a much more fun experience, and will continue to take whatever step is necessary to keep BGMI fair and fun.

New updates to counter unfair means

1. Stronger Cheat Detection and Banning Mechanism

The systems continue to evolve as we bring near real-time ways to detect cheats and ban users from employing illegal means.

2. Permabans

We had initially worked on the model that first offenders will be handed out temporary bans, but as of now, we have shifted all bans to permanent bans. There’s no room for a second chance now.

3. Manually verify and ban any accounts that use promoting illegal programs among high-rankers.

We are monitoring accounts that used or promoted illegal programs among high-rankers in real-time. If there’s any illegal program used found, we are banning them permanently immediately.

4. Blocking YouTube channels

We are monitoring in real-time in YouTube for any channels that promote illegal programs, and if found, we are blocking the channels immediately while working with YouTube.

Former Team Liquid IGL Nick Canella aka nitr0 might be looking for a way back to Counter Strike: Global Offensive after his brief stint in Valorant did not go anywhere near what he might have hoped for.

After reports of 100 Thieves dropping their coach surfaced, it was clear that the organization was looking to make changes to reach the true potential of the roster. Not more than just a month ago, one of the newer additions in Ethan suggested that changes were imminent and 100 Thieves would see more changes before they settle on a roster.

With the situation surrounding Team Liquid’s CSGO roster, nitr0 switching back to resume the role of skipper would not be the worst thing that can happen to them. Even though this was just a sketchy rumor, EliGE’s FACEIT history added fuel to the fire after he was spotted playing matches with nitr0 and AdreN, who happens to be the coach of Team Liquid.

nitr0 was part of the most dominant Team Liquid roster as they were able to put together a team that was a constant threat to Astralis who looking indomitable in their prime back in 2019.

After his departure, Liquid struggled to find a natural shot caller as the responsibility fell in the hands of Jake Yip aka Stewie2K, who was passed it onto Gabriel “falleN” Toledo but they failed to find their form under the Brazilian shot-caller.

With strong rumors suggesting falleN reuniting with the former SK-Luminosity core, an opportunity for nitr0 might arise where he must take up the mantle of Captain America one more time as the skipper of Team Liquid.

Epic Officially Teases Fortnite x Naruto Crossover

After the recent Resident Evil crossover, Epic is all geared up to bring Ninjas from the famous anime Naruto Shippuden to their popular battle royale game Fortnite. 

After loads of rumors and leaks about the supposed Naruto crossover, Epic Games has officially made the announcement about the Fortnite x Naruto Shippuden crossover coming on 16th November 2021. The official Fortnite Twitter account posted a single teaser image to its account. The image features the signature cloud-style from the anime and Naruto’s catchphrase “BELIEVE IT!”. 

The announcement image also mentions the release date of the update to be “11.16.21”.According to previous leaks back in July, the owner of Shonen Jump magazine, Shueisha is also working with Epic Games on different anime crossovers. Shonen Jump is the official publisher of Naruto Shippuden. Other big-name properties owned by Shonen Jump include Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball, My Hero Academia, One Piece, and many more which might make their way to Fortnite later. 

As for what characters and cosmetics will be added to the game, Epic hasn’t made any announcement about the particulars of the update. We can at least expect the main character “Naruto” to be included along with his signature weapon “Kunai”. We can also expect a Kurama skin (Naruto’s nine-tail demon fox spirit). Another highly likely character to be included will be “Sasuke Uchiha” as his character is equally important as Naruto and is also his “best friend”. Naruto Shippuden features a wide array of characters to choose from and it is possible that your favorite character might not be included in the update. 

Keep an eye out on November 16 for the expected full reveal of the Fortnite x Naruto Shippuden crossover update. However, Naruto isn’t the only massively popular property to make its way into Fortnite. According to some recent leaks, a Fall Guys crossover event is also on the horizon.

Steam Deck delayed to 2022

Valve’s handheld gaming PC, Steam Deck was announced earlier this year starting at just $399. The highly anticipated device was planned to launch this December, but Valve has pushed its release to February 2022.

“The launch of Steam Deck will be delayed by two months. We’re sorry about this—we did our best to work around the global supply chain issues, but due to material shortages, components aren’t reaching our manufacturing facilities in time for us to meet our initial launch dates.” The company said in an announcement. “Based on our updated build estimates, Steam Deck will start shipping to customers in February 2022. This will be the new start date of the reservation queue—all reservation holders keep their place in line but dates will shift back accordingly. Reservation date estimates will be updated shortly after this announcement.”

On the bright side, Valve says that your reserved spot will pretty much stay the same, albeit with slight changes as everyone is shifted back according to the new release date.

The supply chain shortage has negatively impacted the entire industry, including NVIDIA’s 30-series GPUs along with new-gen consoles; PS5 & Xbox Series S|X, forcing Sony to reduce their production by 6%. 

The Steam Deck gained its popularity, not because of its low price, but because of its impressive hardware for such a handheld PC as it features a custom Zen 2 4c/8t CPU and an RDNA 2 based integrated GPU with 8 CUs along with 16GB of LPDDR5, making it a really decent option for gaming on the go.
