Velocity Gaming qualifies for Skyesports Valorant SEA Championship

0

Velocity Gaming has qualified for Skyesports VALORANT SEA Championship in Thailand over Revenant Esports.

Anuj “Amaterasu” Sharma and his men locked their place at the Skyesports SEA Championship with a 2-0 victory over Revenant Esports, eliminating their regional combine with wins on Breeze and Bind. Saksham “Deadly10” Aurangabadkar and his heroics saved the day for VLT after playing a close half against Revenant in the first half of Bind.

This will be Saksham “Deadly10” Aurangabadkar’s first outing with the team ever since he was introduced to VLT’s active Valorant lineup. The team now travels to Thailand and will face the likes of Bleed Esports, Made in Thailand, and in the end, their regional counterparts, God Squad aka GE.

Skyesports SEA Championship will be an Off-season VCT event and will have $15,000 in prize money for the Champions. Here is a quick recap of the match-up between Velocity Gaming and Revenant Esports.

Map Veto :

  • Velocity ban Ascent
  • Revenant ban Fracture
  • Velocity pick Breeze
  • Revenant pick Bind
  • Velocity ban Icebox
  • Revenant ban Pearl
  • Haven was left over

Map 1 : Breeze (Pick : VLT, Winner : VLT, Final Score : 13:1)

Breeze began with Debanjan “DEATHMAKER” Das double in the pistol round enabling Velocity Gaming to get off to a hot start. They raced to a 4-0 lead before Revenant’s Shailesh “blackhawk” Dalvi locked down the A-site to deliver the first for his team. But with no room for error, Velocity rose to prominence as they seemed to easily cruise towards the end of the first half 11-1 with blackhawk and Enrico “Ching” Perez denying Revenant their second.

Saaransh “Whimp” Dang and his troops looked destitute and listless as Velocity picked up their map pick, 13-1 in their favor to go 1-0 in the Best of the 3 decider.

Map 2 : Bind (Pick : Revenant, Winner : VLT, Final Score : 13-8)

Coming into Bind from the break, neither of the sides really took off and showed dominance. With constant back-and-forth rounds, the first half ended on a square and fair, 6-6. Then came Deadly10 in the second half who went berserk with his Raze pick, constantly poking around Revenant to make their lives miserable. Revenant managed to bag just 2 rounds in the second half before VLT hit the right spots to lock their berth at the Skyesports SEA Championship with a 13-8 victory.

If you never watched the match, the castors just couldn’t stop talking about how deadly Deadly10’s showstopper kills were on Bind.

Skyesports SEA Championship starts on November 23 with the initial match-ups yet to be determined by the organizers.

Grand Theft Auto 5’s source code has been leaked on GitHub

0

A series of Tweets surfaced on social media last night bearing the source code of Rockstar’s flagship title, “Grand Theft Auto V”. The source code was uploaded on a GitHub profile and was made public on Twitter and Facebook.

This leak has allegedly been linked to the previous hack involving sensitive files and pieces of information relating to Grand Theft Auto 6 which was previously confirmed by Rockstar Games as the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto Franchise.

It was later determined and confirmed that the person who was responsible for the Cyberattack on Uber did the job to compromise Rockstar North in September.

The GTA 6 leaks were indeed massive with footage shown where we could witness female and male characters dubbed as “Lucia” and “Jason” robbing a cafe.

The most prominent footage showed the reported Bonnie and Clyde-like duo (apparently named Lucia and Jason) robbing a diner and exercising crowd control before the authorities arrive. A second video shows a figure strolling with a pistol in their hand and a rifle on their back, suggesting Rockstar will use the Red Dead Redemption 2 inventory system that only lets you carry two weapons.

What we are able to deduce from the above is that the recently leaked source files of GTA 5 come from the September hack. The files were sold off to an anonymous buyer for over $100,000 who later leaked them all across.

It would appear that some of the source code for Grand Theft Auto 5 has been published on GitHub without authorization. There are scripting functions and turnables included in the source code.

Additionally, and according to many reports, the leak includes previously unreleased stuff from GTA Online, IDE comments from the developers, and portions of the game’s anti-cheat system.

Sometime later, the individual who was responsible for the hack was arrested in the United Kingdom and was then revealed to be a part of the Lapsus$ gang and had reportedly amassed more than £10 million by hacking corporations such as Microsoft and Samsung, among others.

Valorant, Riot’s FPS, has been a hit since its premiere in 2020, because of its unique blend of tactical shooting mechanics and ability-based gameplay, combined with a huge assortment of incredible-looking cosmetics.

More details about what is in the 5.10 patch are starting to emerge. Data miners are already searching over the archives, and it appears that we have two additional bundles ready to be made available for purchase on the website. The forthcoming bundles will be known as Abyssal and Give Back when they are released.

kennyS exits G2 Esports, signs up with Team Falcons

KennyS first became a member of G2 Esports in February 2017, and he played competitively there until March 2021. Since that time, he has been creating content for the organization, primarily concentrating on CSGO although also participates in other games such as VALORANT.

After a brief absence, he returned to competition filling in the shoes of Nemanja “nexa” Isakovi at the IEM: Winter 2021.

After being placed on the bench by G2 in March 2021, kennyS has been unable to compete for the past 18 months. The decision was made after the French AWPer, who had struggled with mental health concerns for years, had a string of disappointing tournament results and a downward trend in his overall performance.

The departure brings to a close the French AWPer’s nearly six-year-long tenure with G2, which began with the formation of the so-called “French superteam” in February of 2017 alongside Richard “shox” Papillon, Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, and Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt.

kennyS was instrumental in G2’s journey to victory at ESL Pro League Season 5, DreamHack Masters Malmo, and DreamHack Open Tours 2017.

There were rumors that the Frenchman wanted to concentrate completely on Riot Games’ first-person shooter after having previously put his attention on VALORANT. There were even claims that KennyS was competing in the trials for OG’s VALORANT division in April of 2022, which reportedly never went through.

With his exit from G2 Esports, kennyS has joined the forces of Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt, Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier, Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss, and Jordan “Python” Munck-Foehrle under Falcons.

Together with HEET, Falcons have established themselves as one of the most impressive full French rosters competing in CSGO thus far in 2018. After finishing with a record of 2-3 in the Europe RMR B, the team came very close to qualifying for the IEM CSGO Rio Major 2022. On October 25, the Falcons bid farewell to Bryan “Maka” Canda, clearing the way for KennyS.

In an interview with Dexerto, kennyS stated, “I think I deserve one last chance to finish my career in a way that is not being on the bench. I’m grateful I have the opportunity to do things differently. It feels amazing to be back. I’m really happy,”

Further, the 27-year-old Frenchman has desired to bolster his team’s chances to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major which starts in May 2023.

“I have played so many Majors, and missing the Rio Major was already quite painful. At least trying to qualify for the BLAST Major is something I really want to do. The Paris Major is definitely the biggest objective and something I will grind for,” he concluded.

Falcons CSGO now have:

  • Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt
  • Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier
  • Kenny “kennyS” Schrub
  • Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss
  • Jordan “Python” Munck-Foehrle
  • Steeve “Ozstrik3r” Flavigni (Head Coach)

TenZ could leave Sentinels after the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour

0

After Sentinels parted ways with almost the entirety of its Valorant roster, TenZ is the only player who remains from the previous iteration.

According to a previous report from Dexerto, TenZ re-signed with the club and will participate in the VCT 2023 season with Sentinels.

After joining Sentinels from Cloud9 on an undisclosed 8-figure deal, the 21-year-old Canadian came out with all his guns blazing. Unfortunately, the team was beaten by practically every contender in the Group Stage of the VCT 2022: North America Challengers 2.

With Sentinels signing four new players for the VCT 2023 Season, TenZ feels optimistic about his new teammates, and in an interview with Tarik “tarik” Celik, he stated, “The recent results don’t reveal precisely who I am as a player. With any luck, I’ll be able to demonstrate the form I was in before.”

Zachary “zekken” Patrone, Rory “dephh” Jackson, Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, and Bryan “pANcada” Luna have joined Sentinels for the next season with Don “SyykoNT” Muir to serve as the head coach. The sixth member of the team, Hunter “SicK” Mims, is the only other player besides TenZ who will be remaining at Sentinels.

TenZ was regarded as the best Valorant player during the entirety of 2021, despite his recent tournament results. He is still one of the finest, and if he were to join forces with the appropriate group of people, he could be able to regain his previous level of success.

But, sadly, Sentinels has not been performing up to the standard in recent international competitions, and the new and improved squad could be just what TenZ needs to achieve goals and become successful.

Sentinels’ most recent results featured getting eliminated from the VCT 2022 NA LCQ where the team picked Michael “shroud” Grzesiek as a replacement for Hunter “SicK” Mims.

With TenZ having re-signed with the club for the 2023 VCT Season, he might exit from Sentinels after to take up content creation.

MrBeast now has more YouTube subscribers than PewDiePie

0

MrBeast surpasses PewDiePie in terms of most subscribed YoutTube Video Creator.

Just weeks after reaching 100M YouTube subscribers, MrBeast has overtaken PewDiePie as YouTube’s most subscribed video creator.

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has been one of the fastest-rising YouTubers on the Google-owned site during the past few years, surpassing his target of 100 million subscribers in July.

Now, he has ensured his position as the site’s most subscribed content producer, surpassing PewDiePie, a Swedish creator who has been active on the site for a long time.

The most subscribed channel on YouTube is now MrBeast

MrBeast’s primary channel reached 111,851,893 subscribers on November 14, 2022, surpassing PewDiePie’s by a few thousand subscribers at the time this article was written.

As a result of achieving this goal, MrBeast has become the individual content creator on the Google-owned platform with the most subscribers.

In July of 2022, Donaldson followed in PewDiePie’s footsteps by being the second person on YouTube to ever exceed 100 million views, and only a few short weeks later, he received a response from the channel’s creator.

“Come on, I’ve been retired for like 2 years now. I can’t wait for it to be over […] that’s alright he definitely deserves it. I hope he does it,”

PewDiePie on Donaldson surpassing him on YouTube.

Both of the renowned content producers have not yet commented on the recent success, but we’ll keep you informed as soon as they do. MrBeast gave away a private island in a contest to commemorate reaching 100 million subscribers, and now many are curious as to what he will do next.

Donaldson, a YouTuber since 2012, became famous in 2018 after donating thousands of dollars to minor Twitch streamers and YouTubers. In more recent times, he has been filming elaborate contests in which followers take part in videos for the opportunity to win significant rewards.

In June, he awarded $500,000 to a supporter in a competition based on “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” and in December, he recreated the Netflix show “Squid Game” for a competition with 456 backers.

PewDiePie, also known as Felix Arvid Ulvid Kjellberg, has been uploading gaming videos on YouTube since 2010. In 2013, he became the YouTuber with the most subscribers, and in August 2019, he became the first creator to reach 100 million subscribers.

Kjellberg announced four months later that he was taking a hiatus from YouTube due to fatigue, and he has posted less regularly since then.

In May, he announced to his supporters that he had relocated to Japan from his former residence in Brighton, England. Since then, he has been providing them with updates on his life in Japan in the form of video blogs.

Kjellberg acknowledged in August that Donaldson was likely to surpass him as the YouTuber with the most subscribers, stating in a video that Donaldson “deserves it.”
