The remaining 6 spots were decided through the Survival Stage on August 11 and 12. Both Indian teams, GodLike Esports and Orangutan, qualified directly from the Group Stage.

India’s 2 Teams Both Made the Grand Finals
Both Indian teams qualified directly from the Group Stage. Orangutan finished 2nd in Group A with 91 points and 2 Chicken Dinners. GodLike Esports finished 3rd in Group B. Neither team had to play the Survival Stage.
This is the first time India has had 2 teams at PMWC. Both making the Grand Finals is a strong result. As TalkEsport reported earlier, GodLike and Orangutan were placed in separate groups, and both delivered top-5 finishes.
Teams to Watch in the Grand Finals
4Thrives Esports (Pakistan): Topped Group A with 107 points. Also won the PMGO 2026 Season 1 in June. Going for back-to-back international titles.
Team Vitality (Indonesia): Topped Group B with 148 points and 103 eliminations. The most dominant team across the entire Group Stage.
Tianba (China): Dropped to the Survival Stage from Group B but fought back through. One of PEL’s strongest rosters. Always a threat in Grand Finals formats.
GodLike Esports (India): Finished 3rd in Group B. Competing without head coach Smokie, whose visa was denied for the event.
