FaZe Clan’s Fortnite coach tests positive for Coronavirus

Hugh "DestinysJesus" Gilmour, who coaches FaZe Clan's star-studded Fortnite roster has claimed that he has contracted Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Currently, coronavirus also referred to as COVID-19 has the entire world on high alert. The pandemic disease which originated in Wuhan, China poses a threat to the entire world now, as it grows and spreads around several countries. Due to the fear of the virus spreading, many prominent events have been either called off or rescheduled as of now. Events such as E3, NBA, DOTA 2 LA Major, NHL and many more have been affected and hit by the fear of coronavirus.

It is of no wonder that nobody is safe from the virus and even the most prominent celebrities can catch the virus quite easily. Recently, big names like Cristiano Ronaldo and Tom Hanks have been linked to the menacing virus. The newest confirmed victim of the virus is reported to be famous Fortnite coach for FaZe Clan, Hugh “DestinysJesus” Gilmour. DestinysJesus is speculated to have contacted the virus on his way back home to England right after DreamHack Anaheim. He took to twitter to confirm that he had tested positive for the virus, earlier today.

COVID-19 is not known to be particularly deadly to teenagers and young adults, but it still remains to be a threat none the less. Most of the deaths caused by the virus have been linked to a weak immune system or pre-existing ailments in the victims. There is no cure for the rampaging virus right now, and the only option for the affected is to quarantine themselves to prevent it from spreading further and make their recovery. Recovery rates, on the other hand, are pretty high for the virus, and according to statistics, many .of the reported cases have already recovered. With the above facts in mind, we can believe that the virus won’t have any deadly effects on DestinysJesus and he will make a quick recovery and get back to coaching as soon as possible.
