Indian viewers with an active Netflix subscription will have the first opportunity to watch the GTA 6 An Extended Look special, as it will release on YouTube a bit later.

The showcase is scheduled to air in the US at 3 pm ET on August 27, which translates to 12:30 am IST on August 28 for Indian viewers. This means that fans who want to be among the first in the world to see new GTA VI footage will need to stay up past midnight.

The special can be found by searching for the game’s title directly on Netflix, and it should also appear on the platform’s homepage around the premiere window.

GTA 6 An Extended Look YouTube Release Date and Time in India

While Netflix users will be able to get the first look at GTA 6 An Extended Look, fans without an active subscription won’t have to wait long either.

Rockstar will publish the same presentation on its official YouTube channel and the GTA 6 website six hours after the Netflix debut. For the US, that’s 9 pm ET on August 27, which translates to 6:30 am IST on August 28 in India. 

Rockstar hasn’t detailed the contents of the GTA 6 An Extended Look showcase at the time of writing. Still, the community expects a deeper look at the gameplay mechanics, the overall plot, gunplay, and, not to mention, further exploration of Leonida. This fictional state includes a modern-day Vice City. Given the “Extended” branding, fans anticipate this to be a longer and more comprehensive showcase than earlier teaser trailers.

This marks the first time Rockstar has partnered with a streaming service for a game reveal, and it arrives less than three months before GTA VI launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.
