What Is PMWC 2026
OverviewThe PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 (PMWC 2026) is the mid-season international championship for PUBG Mobile, organized by KRAFTON, Level Infinite, and the Esports World Cup Foundation. It runs from August 6 to August 16, 2026, at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, as part of the wider Esports World Cup 2026. The event was originally slated for Riyadh before organizers moved it to Paris.
32 teams — up from 24 in the previous edition — will battle across three stages for a share of the $3,000,000 prize pool and valuable PMGC qualification points. Defending champion Yangon Galacticos (Myanmar) enters with a direct invite, while 2024 champions Alpha7 Esports (Brazil) return as reigning PMGC 2025 titleholders looking to reclaim the crown.
PMWC also feeds into the Esports World Cup’s Club Championship points system, giving results at this event added weight beyond the PUBG Mobile ecosystem itself.
KRAFTON’s updated Event Calendar splits Group A and Group B across alternating days rather than playing both on the same day, and adds confirmed rest days on August 10 and August 13. Grand Finals matches now start at 11:30 UTC+0 on all three days. Full breakdown in TalkEsport’s updated schedule guide.
